Come witness the unparalleled beauty of Southern Indiana at our peaceful little river retreat. Relax & take in the view by the firepit or on the screened porch. Fishing is also available right out front. Try your skills in a game of bumper pool. We are a dog friendly place. I personally love cats & have several at my own home. However, we do not accept cats at our river place. Please make other arrangements for your kitty.
We are located just 2 mi from the Historic Williams Covered Bridge, 8 mi to Martin State Forest, 14 mi to Springmill State Park, 18 mi to Frenchlick Casino. 14 mi to shopping & food.

Peaceful get away

We were looking for a place away from everything. It was what we wanted. It was quiet and peaceful. We could sit outside and watch the wildlife and listen to the birds. It is cozy and very clean. Enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit one night.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed finding a place to bring our dogs with us. We loved the view with being on the river. There was plenty of room for us. We were able to enjoy a fire one night, and love the screened porch. There are so many options in this area if you want to venture out. We will have to come back to do all the things we didn’t make it to this time!

Beautiful home. Amazing Host!

The home was very nice, quiet, and had cute decorations that make it feel so cozy. Everything was very clean and smelled amazing. Even though they do accept pets, there was no trace of pet hair anywhere.(Not that i would mind so much, since our family has a furry baby of our own.) The host left out snacks for us which was such a kind touch and made us feel super welcome. There are board games and bumper pool so we had fun with that. The river was a few feet away so naturally, we walked to the river and saw so many fish, turtles, frogs, and birds. It was amazing! There is also a fire pit, so bring your marshmallows. By the end of our stay, we did not want to leave! The host kept in touch throughout our stay and even found my son's lost earbud which she kindly offered to mail to us. I highly recommend The Outlook for your next getaway. Everything is great about this place.

We Love the river and spend as much time as we can soaking up the views. Boating, fishing & kayaking. It's so peaceful and relaxing.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Private setting, overlooking the river. When the river is at normal pool or lower, there is a large rock bat out front of the cabin that makes the view even better. And also allows capable visitors to walk along the rocks to explore or fish from the area.
