Cozy up near the wood burning stove in the winter, and enjoy summer sunsets among the trees or on Donner Lake. Golf courses, ski resorts, and hiking trails are at your fingertips! Exceptional mountain biking and lake activities are just out your front door. Arrive at the home off Donner Pass Rd. There 4 parking spaces in the parking lot (No street parking allowed).

Guests enjoy a full kitchen, spacious living and dining room area with a wood burning stove and comfortable couch. The second floor that includes two queen bedrooms, with a bathroom in between. The bathroom is equipped with a convenient tub and shower combo. There is a small loft that has a 2 twin trundle bed. Dining table has seats 4, with 2 barrel chairs with small coffee table to accommodate a dining space for 6. The newly remodeled deck has great forest views with patio furniture. Stay toasty warm in the winter and enjoy the relaxing Donner Lake breeze in the summer with beautiful forest views from deck. The full bathroom is on the second floor with tub and shower combo. There is a external laundry closet next to the front steps of the home with a washer and dryer.

Donner Lake's West End Beach is a two-minute walk away offering family beach play, swimming, and pickleball. Historic Downtown Truckee is 10-minutes away to access restaurants, boutique shopping, and town events and nightlife. Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, Donner Ski Ranch, and Donner Memorial State Park are less than 10-minute drive. Soda Spring Ski Area and Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Area are 15-minutes away. Palisades Tahoe and Northstar Ski Resorts are 20-minutes. Donner Memorial State Park is just down the road and offers a historical museum, hiking and snowshoe trails, and exceptional mountain biking. Legendary Lake Tahoe is a 25-minute drive!

There is no AC at most properties in Tahoe. To keep the property cool, open the windows and sliders at night to let cool air in, then close the windows, doors and blinds when you leave for the day.

Please remember that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
