For added convenience, there is a washer/dryer room on-site. This is the only shared space, but rest assured that your apartment and entryway are completely private, as I live separately in Unit 2 upstairs. The separate entrances make it easy to come and go as you please, ensuring your stay is both independent and comfortable.

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire unit, the backyard outdoor area, and the shared laundry room.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located in Chicago’s Clearing neighborhood, a quiet, residential area on the city’s southwest side just minutes from Midway Airport. The community has a suburban feel, with tree-lined streets, brick homes, and a family-friendly atmosphere where neighbors walk dogs, kids play outside, and most blocks feel safe and well maintained. Essentials like grocery stores, restaurants, and retail are close by, and parking is generally easier here than in busier parts of the city, with street parking readily available. While the proximity to the airport makes travel especially convenient, it can also bring some airplane noise, though most residents say it’s minimal once indoors. Public transit options are accessible, and downtown is reachable with a bit of planning, making the area a comfortable, convenient place for both short and extended stays.



Getting Around:

Public transportation is convenient and straightforward: several CTA bus routes, including the 52 Kedzie and 52A South Kedzie, stop nearby and connect you north toward the Orange Line train, while the 63rd Street bus runs east–west for added access. The closest CTA “L” option is the Orange Line, with Midway Airport station just about a 5-minute drive or a short bus ride away, providing a direct 25-minute train ride into downtown Chicago. Buses run regularly throughout the day, especially during peak hours, making it easy to reach the airport, connect to the train, or travel into the city without needing a car.



Other Things to Note:

Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. If you require early check-in or late check-out, please let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.



No Smoking: For the comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited within our property or on the balcony.



Quiet Enjoyment: Respect for fellow residents and neighbors is paramount. Please keep noise levels at a considerate level, especially during quiet hours, to maintain a peaceful environment.



Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed in the home is as indicated in your booking details. Hosting additional overnight guests without prior approval is not permitted.



Security: To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you will be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, and pass through our verification portal. Security deposit of $250 will be required before check in.

While we respect your privacy, we’re always just a message or call away if you need anything during your visit.



Our team is available via text, phone, or the app to assist with questions, local recommendations, or any issues that may arise. We’ll provide you with all necessary check-in details ahead of time, and there's no need for in-person interaction unless you request it.
