King Size Bed in Master Bedroom & Two Large Sleeping Sofas in 2nd Bedroom/LR in Suite with private entrance with no need to go thru the house in Silver Spring Maryland for $79. per night. Bathroom with glass enclosed shower, steel sink in granite topping and toilet.
First guest $79 / night, second guest $63, children over 5 years old $35.; children under 5 years old $20. No pets are allowed. Laundry available: Wash/Dryer & Soap $19./load. Central AC & Heating. PARKING w/ camera surveillance 24/7 - park on concrete driveway near the entrance doors at $12/night paid separate from booking price because not every guest need parking. The surrounding neighborhood is residential, quiet, and the County allows noise until 10PM. No loud music beyond reasonable limits, Two miles from downtown Silver Spring; 15 miles to the White House and DC monuments. Visitors allowed until 10 PM. Only registered people are allowed to spend the night. No promiscuity. No party. Three visitors to guest at time until 10 PM. Check out time is 11 AM. From 11am to 3pm the cleaning crew will prepare and sterilize the suite for the next coming guest; just make sure to not forget and leave belongs behind.
DIRECTIONS:
The property is located on 8829 Flower Avenue Silver Spring, MD. on the corner of Flower Ave & Plymouth St. fenced by a 6 foot tall green bushes all around. From Flower turn onto Plymouth and immediate right on the first driveway; drive in to near the house doors and call the host to hand you the key.

Had a great stay here! Bed is comfy and is a very quiet unit and very private. Ideal for 1-2 guests, nothing more. Host is a great communicator and check-in was easy peasy. Would definitely book again. Thank you!

Positives: Great communication with owner, nice location, quiet neighborhood, plenty of space, ceiling fans, small fridge & microwave. Paper plates & plastic utensils, good lighting inside, large comfortable bed (just watch out for the corners of the low platform on which the bed sits), and clean towels and linens. Off street parking available.Negatives: Poor nighttime lighting on the walk from the driveway around the side of the house in order to reach the door in back. (A motion light came on once I was near the steps leading up to the door in the back of the house.) That's a safety issue because there are holes in the deck on the side of the house that I did not see until the next morning, one large enough to put a foot through. Luckily, in the dark, my feet did not find them.The railings leading to the upper deck where the door is located are very splintery. Do not use them.The rooms were stuffy when I came in on the second day, which had been a very warm one. I did not find controls for the A/C that was in the listing and I could not open the dirty windows to let in fresh air. Overall, MANY LITTLE THINGS that could easily be improved in order for me to give a higher rating. I am not listing them all here with the hope that the owner will address the issues (I sent him a letter with the details.)There is no light switch on the wall inside the door when entering. There's a motion detecting light switch on the opposite side from the entry door.

I guess I didn't see anything about a national park, but this is an old neighborhood and there may be one nearby, but I didn't rent it for that reason, my apartment was under going renovationsso I need a place to stay. It's a beautiful neighborhood nonetheless, a great place to walk around with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The host was easy to communicate with and it was a lovely little spot. Very cozy with big comfortable king size bed. I enjoyed having coffee on the outdoor porch. Because of the renovations I had my cat with me and it was great I could keep him with me. Wonderful place and I had a good time there.

The host was great! The place was not what we expected. The bathroom/shower was nice. Also, location was perfect!Now here's the negative. 9 to park overnight is ridiculous-just because you don't expect the person to have a car?!? Next, the place was hottt! Heating from downstairs heats the upstairs, too. While I didn't need tv, I expected one, just as I would a hotel room. I think you should lead with no tv and not expect guests to wonder....whether it's written down or not.

The unit was not ideal, stuck in the back of a house in the suburbs, surrounded by construction with an adjoining door to a shared house. The lights in the unit were motion detected so every time anyone wandered into another room, the lights turned on at full brightness, including when my dog would get up at every sound coming from the main house.When I requested a hair dryer, they opened the door and reached an arm in to leave the dryer on a table, which was unsettling.
