Lovely 2 bedroom house in a beautiful Santa Barbara neighborhood.


Two bedroom 1,200 square foot house in an exclusive enclave in Santa Barbara. Nestled in a charming woodsy setting, Casitas De Los Arboles is the perfect spot for guests seeking a peaceful spot to relax.

With its spacious high ceiling interior, you will relax and unwind the moment you step inside. Bedroom one offers a queen bed. Bedroom two has 2 extra long twin beds that are easily converted a King. Large common space includes a newly renovated kitchen with a full size refrigerator, cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee makers and dishwasher. Plenty of tableware and cookware. . Eating areas both inside and out on the large deck. Living room has a comfy L-shaped couch and a new Smart TV. All the rooms have fast WiFi. Heating and AC in each room.

Separate laundry and storage room. Room to store bikes or surfboards......

Linens including beach towels are provided. Soap, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer, dishwashing soap and laundry soap provided.

Linens changed once a week. Additional housekeeping can be arranged.

Casitas De Los Arboles shares 2 fenced and gated acres with the main house and has its own laundry room/storage room and off-street parking. Board games, jig-saw puzzles and a corn-hole game are all provided.

This property is contiguous to More Mesa Open Space (https://moremesa.org) with an easy 10 minute walk from private gate to More Mesa beach trail. Located on the bluffs between UCSB and Santa Barbara, this 300 acre preserve is a favorite destination for walkers, runners, equestrians and bird-watchers. Cyclists will love the location; beautiful roads easily connect to popular local bike trails. Easily bike to UCSB or the Santa Barbara funk zone.

DarkSky policy in the neighborhood means excellent stargazing

Hope Ranch paradise

We had a wonderful time. The property and house were amazing. The walking trails behind the house were gorgeous. The owner was very friendly and responsive.

What a wonderful property. We couldn't have stayed at a better location than Hope Ranch. A location that has some of the most beautiful ranches and mansions in Santa Barbara. There is everything for everyone. Plenty of room, walking trails, the ocean, and all near grocerys and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Absolutely Perfect Stay in Santa Barbara!

This house was everything we hoped for and more. The peaceful woodsy setting immediately put us at ease, and the home itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The location is outstanding—quiet and serene, but also just steps from the stunning More Mesa Open Space and a short drive or bike ride to downtown Santa Barbara and UCSB. Stargazing at night was also lovely. We hope to come back soon!

Hope Ranch haven

Such a beautiful property, comfortable accommodations and friendly host. Great for a couple or families. Great location to shopping, recreation. Well equipped kitchen, cozy boho vibe, lots of sunlight,( bring a sleeping mask if you want to sleep in) easy walk to the coastline, lots of parking. Very rejuvenating!

Perfect location, great host, and comfortable home!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. The location is amazing and hope ranch are both fantastic. You're so close to More Mesa with beautiful walks and an incredible sunset. Vikki, the host, has everything you need there and then some. The home is extremely comfortable and welcoming. We will stay here again, without hesitation.

Lovely Retreat

This guest house sits behind a main house on a pleasantly landscaped property. Something blooming all the time! The location is beautiful with many opportunities for enjoying the outdoor space on the property and walking/biking to the beach or natural area. Vikki has appointed the guest house with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed for several weeks so did some cooking. The kitchen is well stocked with appropriate appliances, cookware, etc. There are two sunny bedrooms with nice sized closets and shelving for unpacking. The bed that we used was comfortable. Main living area was comfortably divided between a kitchen/eating area and a living room area with L-shaped couch, coffee tables and TV. Shades or curtains on all windows for letting sunshine in or providing privacy. The bathroom was fully tiled with plenty of counter-space and walk-in shower.There is a lovely deck with picnic table for enjoying the outdoor space. Vikki was very friendly while not imposing herself. She was very responsive to all questions or requests. Top notch host. We were very comfortable during our stay and appreciated all Vikki's efforts to make the casitas a favored destination.

Slice of Heaven on the Central Coast

We absolutely loved our stay at "Casa de Los Arbolitos." For us, the location was what we loved best. We are an outdoorsy nature-loving family, and the cottage is located right next to a nature preserve that leads out to the amazing coastal bluffs and then the beach. We saw gorgeous sunsets not to be believed, watched seals in the waves, and took long walks on the beach. It was truly magical. We saw horses almost every day in the nature preserve. The bluffs are perfect for whale migration observation in season. The cottage itself is neat and clean, well-appointed, and rustic. Do not expect Santa Barbara "posh" like the B&Bs downtown, but do expect comfy and quiet. We had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. I'm an author, and I must say this would make a wonderful cottage for a writing getaway. Or, a great place to hold up and make revisions to a screenplay. You will not be bothered and will have total privacy. Vikki was awesome -- convivial and welcoming, totally down-to-earth, and helpful but never intrusive. She totally respects your privacy. There are two adorable little dogs. We loved the dogs but for those who are not dog people, they are separated from the cottage by a fence. Also, we love that instead of throwing out perfectly good staples, like a spray bottle of olive oil or spices, Vikki is mindful of sustainability considerations, making our Whole Foods trip easier. Upshot: 10 out of 10! We cannot wait to return! This was an ideal vacation.
