Great location and beach access. The pool is very nice and well maintained. The condo unit was great. The only minor negative was the wifi access which went down for hours on 2 different days, although it was a shared wifi for the building and not specifically the condo unit, so no blame there. Overall it was a wonderful stay and will look to return, thanks

Reviewer Comments: Nice little condo, dated and has been beaten up some .TVs are tiny and WiFi didn't work while we there.Definitely paying for location because the condo is very small- cute, but small. Unit had little spots like holes and dings that suggest it isn't maintained very well. You get what you pay for here- great location and beach setting.

Loved the view!!! Everything was close. We visited Charleston, Folly Beach, Angel Oak, Shem Creek..

The property was just perfect for what we needed and we had great weather. Our first few days were in the 70's so we got to Isle Of Palm Beach a few of the days.

Early Spring stay

Small, clean, nice quaint, close to pier, short walk to main strip and grocery store center of town, States could sleep 4, but recommend that be two adults and small kids. Needs a little work, but a nice retreat. No elevator (if you are carrying luggage up stairs), next to public Park.

It was somewhat outdated compared to others we have stayed in but we don’t spend that much time inside. The kitchen faucet was a little leaky but otherwise worked fine.

There are better options!!

This unit really needs updating! There are big places all over the walls that were just painted over instead of fixed. The furniture was functional, but not great. Overall, everything was ok, but the price for this unit is comparable to other units in the same building that are much nicer.

We were not able to cook the overhead exhaust over the stove is filthy. there are cracks and holds on both sides of the walls. When we walked in there was an odor. We were celebrating our 3rd year anniversary what a joke. We stayed at this location before in a beautiful unit only reason we decided to come back.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the fourth time I've stayed at the Sea Cabins and this was the worst unit that I have stayed at. The unit was dirty, the bed had hair in it and had to change sheets soon as we arrived. There was black long hair all over the floor. My wife had to clean the bathroom and swept the kitchen. The place was out dated and the furniture was old and dirty. I will stay at the Sea Cabins again but not at this unit.

You Get What You Pay For

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Sea Cabins for the long Memorial Day weekend. Going in, we knew it was going to be bare bones, but figured for the price, it was exactly what we were looking for. When we arrived, it is exactly what we got. It was a typical older beach front condo residence. Not a problem. As we stayed there though, we found 3 major issues:1) There is a light directly outside the master bedroom window. Even with black-out curtains installed, the light pours in at night. Multiple times I would wake up in the middle of the night (with little kiddos), and think it was 7am, with the sun rising, when in fact it was 2am. Lots of light enters the master bedroom.2) The walls and floor are VERY thin. This was a problem when the condo below us was smoking in their room and on their balcony, and our room above them would suddenly smell like cigarettes :(3) The biggest issue we had was when we came back from the beach at one point, and there was a new pillow in the hallway for us. We were NOT pleased that somebody entered our room while we weren't there. They had our cell#, and should have called and let us know. We would have met them. With them entering our room when we were gone, we had no idea whether they went through our stuff, took anything, etc. (don't think they did, but how do I know?).Overall, this condo is exactly what you pay for. It's older, run down, but will get you a beach front place to sleep. Also on a random note, in the entire condo, there was only 1 spoon....1. No eating cold cereal by more than 1 person at a time!

Want a satisfying vacation? Stay at the Sea Cabins

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in the Sea Cabins several times a year, for close to 30 years. We always LOVE our stay because of the view, proximity to restaurants, and family atmosphere. We also appreciate that there is not a hassle about getting into the units when they are cleaned and ready. This particular time, we had a unique situation (that I won't go into), but needed and asked for some special accommodations. The folks at Island Realty did their best to help us out and we were very thankful for their willingness to adjust. Our friends...for big birthdays, anniversaries etc. tell us to go to Europe. We come to the Sea Cabins instead.
