Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Truly this is one of the nicest rooms at the resort! The air conditioning works fantastically, the room is well stocked with anything you need to cook meals, the fans are amazing especially in the dead of summer. The shower has amazing pressure. And the first floor is perfect!

Seconds to the beach

Love the location of this condo being close to the beach and on the ground level. Cozy bed, great patio. Quaint and everything we needed for an anniversary getaway.

Great Location

If access to the beach and local shops/restaurants is what you're looking for, this is your place.The pool and beach are literally steps away for easy access. Our "sea cabin" was a little outdated and had peeling cabinet laminate and flooring, but was nice enough. The bedroom was literally just big enough to fit the bed with little room on either side of it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Isle of Palms Sea Cabins are so convenient to everything. The cabin was clean and comfortable. My grandchildren enjoy coming every summer. The county beach is adjacent to the Sea Cabins and have lifeguards present which gives me peace of mind when my grandchildren are in the ocean.

The cabin we stayed this time was ok, but definitely old and worn. Unfortunately, due to storms, the private access to the beach was closed but we made due. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but we would have preferred a heads up on property damage.

It is regrettable that you did not receive our email notification about the beach access, we did try to inform guests who were coming by both posting on our website and sending out email notifications. The comforter and blankets didn’t look or smell clean and that was disappointing. I would stay at the property again just hoping it would be cleaner next time.

Most of our time was spent at the soccer fields with our grandson but while back at the condo for down time, the Roku tv definitely had its short comings. WiFi login instructions were not helpful, we were able to access something named free WiFi pool.

It was on all the pillows, floor, and the top of the trash can was covered with it. It looked like dog hair. We did not use the pillows. Nasty!

Not quite what I expected

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th trip to IOP. Twice with Wild Dunes, and 2nd with Island Properties. I realized I was not renting a top of the line condo. However, I expected more. We did love the location of the rental to the IOP area of restaurants, and beach. However, thIs unit mentioned a recently replaced mattress. I can hardly believe that. The unit had 2 forks, and the pots and pans were seriously in bad shape. It could honestly use a paint job, as well as the finishing on the cabinets are pealing off, and the bottom of the stove was off the hinges. Nothing a small amount of money wouldn't fix. I would not hesitate to stay a Sea Cabins again, but would choose another unit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were here for our 1 year anniversary and it wasn’t pleasant. We had issues with little bugs all over the place, especially the bathroom. We could put our luggage on the floor as I was not going to bring anything home. The a/c quit working. Every morning we were awoke around 7:30-8am with excessive banging and construction work. One morning we were awoke by someone banging on our door. Apparently it was the a/c people but no one notified us of anyone coming or expecting anything. I feel as thought the communication was very poor on that part. We didn’t get to relax the whole trip due to never getting to fully sleep in or enjoy our stay. This isn’t what we expected. I do know next time I would rather stay in a hotel than go through that again. I will not be using this travel company ever again. We haven’t had a bad experience staying anywhere and this was definitely one we will unfortunately remember.

We apologize that your stay was unpleasant. We corrected the air conditioning issue as soon as we possibly could. I apologize on the Air conditioning company behalf due to the loud knocking on the door. As far as the little bugs in the bathroom if we knew about this once noticed we would have corrected this. I'm not sure what the loud noise was because there wasn't any construction going on that day on that street or in the area. Hopefully you all will reconsider staying with us again. The unit we got this year was a little dated/damaged. It wreaked of mildew when we arrived which put a damper on things. But my husband had a pack of coffee scented car air fresheners, so we strung those up and managed to get by.
