This is the cutest, tucked away treasure! The host accommodated us and our 2 rescue dogs. Too bad it was chilly today because the grounds are so lovely and perfect for a cup of coffee and crossword! Thank you so much!

The cabin wasn’t bad. The host was what made it terrible. First, it made it feel like you were being watched 24/7 through the many security cameras on the premises. We only had two trash bags for four days, and a half roll of paper towel. The scariest part was day we left we were locked in due to a faulty lock system on the automatic lock mechanism with the middle lock. It wouldn’t unlock. The other two would unlock but the middle one wouldn’t unlock. This is the only door going in and out of the cabin. After turning the knob on the door we were finally able to get out. I let the owners know that the lock was acting up and not acting right before we left. Half way home I get a message saying that they were going to bill me for the faulty door lock that should be on them and not on me. Lots of stink bugs hit you as you try to enter the cabin as well.

Great stay!

We were on our way to the Ark Encounter from Texas. We found the Tuck to be a great place to stay. If we ever come back this way we would stay here again.

Steer clear of this host!!!!

This host is argumentative, unhelpful, foul and downright greedy for your money! Period! I had emailed for a late check-in (as we were driving 6hrs to the property after working during the day) and the host assured me I could check-in anytime and had 24hr access of the property with the August Home app on my phone. (screenshots saved) we arrived and the August Home app would not work! That's when the host came across the camera on the property arguing, calling us stupid, telling me & my husband we were the problem! Wouldn't physically help us into the property, in fact, demanded MORE MONEY to get his help. Funny thing is... this August Home app WILL NOT WORK with VRBO and host even mentioned that. So he knowingly accepted our reservation, sent us to the August Home app knowing it wouldn't work, (again I even verified via email it would work and screenshots of him telling me it would) so he cancelled our reservation while standing on the property porch for well over an hour trying to get in. Then again tried to collect even more money from us! Steer clear of this argumentative and verbally abusive host! VRBO is also dragging feet refunding our full stay (since we couldn't even enter the property!)

Cute Little House

Extremely private and clean little space in the woods. Had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Short drive to Raven’s Run Park for great hiking and views.

First visit to Kentucky

The Tuck was perfect for our weekend getaway. The drive getting there is beautiful. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was nice to sit outside after dinner with the fire pit. It’s just the cutest place and had everything we needed. I’ve been telling everyone about it. We can’t wait to go back, looks like there’s more being added too.

The Tuck 10/10

We absolutely loved our stay at the Tuck. Perfect for my husband and I traveling through the area for the night. It has absolutely everything you could need and want in a rental! The location is beautiful and private. We highly recommend for a husband/wife stay or a stay with friends or family! Loved the Tuck!

Exactly as Described

The location and structure where exactly what was described. Isolated but easy access to everything one could need. I was in town for event at horse park. The drive was easy and I passed any major or minor store/restaurant needed. Access via highway or main roads with ease. But once u hit the last mile you forget you are so close to Lexington. Highly recommend to anyone looking for on tend design with a well crafted DIY environment. Definitely a project if joy for the owner.
