Sweet little condo complex. We had a 2-bedroom, one bath first floor with a private outdoor patio. Beach chairs and sand toys provided. Comfortable bed, nice furniture, cutely decorated. Shared laundry around the corner payable by credit card. Plenty of drawer and closet space. Well-equipped for longer stays with kitchen dishes, extra towels, vacuum, and mop. Host was very responsive and attentive to details. Large and pretty pool area with many lounges. Short walk across street to beach and sunsets.

Highly recommend. This is a very nice unit in a great location. The host communicated instructions quite well. The unit worked very well for myself and my two teens for the week. It has easy access to the beach (right across the street). The pool was warm and a welcomed area to relax at the end if the day. There is also a fishing dock on the property that we made quite extensive use of too.This is a nice quiet area of the gulf coast, unlike areas father north like Clearwater that fell a little overwhelming. St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island (to the south) are nice, but also more crowded. Indian Shores is much more low key!

Excellent Condo

This unit has a great layout and the location is great, being on Gulf Blvd. There is a view of the Gulf as well as Gulf Blvd. We've stayed at a number of VRBOs in this area but my wife and I agree that this is the unit we want to come back to. And the communication with the unit owner is easily the best we've had.

Can't wait to come back!

Everything from the moment we unlocked the door until we packed up to leave again was amazing. We wanted a place away from the crowds (after being at DW) for several days and this place provide the quiet calm we needed! The beach and pool were the highlights. Indian Shores and surrounding area were great. We found many little shops and restaurants which we hope to return to again soon.

The location was great. We had the beach to entertain us during the day and the inner coast to entertain us at night. We watched the dolphins come in at night as well as watching the manatees. We enjoyed many meals out on the patio.

Clean, Comfortable Condo

First, owner was very responsive from beginning to end, and very accommodating tour request for an earlier check in time. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed for meal preparation. The on site grills were top quality. Pool area was well maintained, and adequate chairs. The location of Barefoot Beach can't be beat. You are close to many attractions. You have easy beach access (the new crosswalk system makes access even easier) to play or watch the sunsets. You also are able to enjoy to intercostal. We would not hesitate to stay here again, or to rent from owner. Great experience all the way around!

Great spot for family beach getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is surprisingly large, with plenty of space for our two kids, and the unit is kind of ideally situated between the pool and beach. A quick heads up for two things I wish I would have known... There's a bright light directly outside one of the bedroom windows, and the blinds don't manage to keep the room dark. One solution is makeshift curtains with towels, or you could bring eyemasks. The second thing is that there is no washer/dryer in the unit- you need to walk to an external shared laundry room and use either quarters ($3.25 per wash/dry so bring lots) or look for a poster on the wall with instructions on how to pay with an app.

Great spot away from crowds

I stayed here last year and loved the area so much I booked this spot again this year. Condo was perfect size, clean, had everything you need and loved having the patio outside for outdoor space to eat dinner outside with privacy and enjoy the nice weather. It was also nicely decorated beach vibe. Great propane grills to cook. Condo had grilling tools. Loved having beach and pool options. Pool was the perfect temp and beach access directly across the street. Condo had beach towels, beach toys, chairs, beach umbrellas and coolers. Everything you need. The owner provides clear and specific instructions for entry etc in a timely fashion. No hiccups. Perfect stay. If there is one suggestion and this is not a reflection of the condo itself is to put up room darkening blinds in front bedroom . The condo outdoor lights throughout the complex are kept on all night (you cannot shut them off). If you like darkness to sleep and easily wake up with “daylight” the light does come through the blinds. By no means a deal breaker but pullover curtains would help those who need pure darkness to sleep. Was a relaxing vacation and would recommend this condo to anyone looking for beach, pool and home a feeling of home get away close to Clearwater beach but far enough away to have a more peaceful family vacation.

Overall good, but could use some maintenance.

Upon arrival we noticed the parking pass was missing. I contacted the owner who told me that a previous tenant had taken it on accident and woukd be mailing it back and I should have it the next day, and he acknowledged he should have let me know ahead of time. Not a big deal, but we didn't end up getting the parking pass until the day before our departure when the cleaning lady just tried to walk right on in. She apologized for her mistake and said she didn't think anyone was there, I'm assuming when we extended our stay a month before our trip our info didn't get updated to the cleaning staff. Overall the place was clean, except some mold in the shower, and the dust ruffle on the bed looked black like it could use a wash. Now to the maintenance part...the bathroom sink was missing a stopper, so be careful about contacts or rings close to the sink, the kitchen garbage disposal didn't work (not a big deal but something we noticed when we tried to use it), the pullout sofa mattress was just a thin mattress topper (my 8 year old said no thanks and we folded it back up and he just slept on the couch), and as somone else noted the blinds in the master bedroom wouldn't turn to actually block out the sunlight and the night light outside. Overall a nice place to stay close to the beach with all the amenities to cook a meal or 2, as we stayed in a few nights of our trip and did just that!!

Very very bad experience

I have been using VRBO.com for several years and this is my first negative experience and review. I feel like I was scammed by the owner of this condo. First of all, Greg promised us there should not be a problem with parking. But when we arrive there was no a parking pass inside the condo. The lady from office said our car would be towed without the pass. The Greg promised to solved the problem and proposed to park on visitor spots or on the street. There was no any visitor parking in the complex. We could find only three spots on the street for the whole complex which were usually full. So, Greg never provided us the pass, never solved the problem. Though out the whole week Greg did not communicate with us. We had to deal with the street spots and wait when it would be free every time we drove somewhere. It was pretty stressful to be afraid that your car could be towed any time. Next, inside the condo you can hear your neighbors pretty well. Unfortunately, our neighbors from the upper floor had party at night. Our first night was terrible. Some other neighbor condos were under construction. So, be expected to hear the noise all the time. At the last day the cleaning stuff came before 10am and was waiting outside, which was not very comfortable. We decided to move out faster and left the kitchen not completely clean. We thought any way we paid the cleaning fee. We were surprised later Greg charged us additional fee for cleaning… And the worst is that Greg charged us for damage we did not do. He said we broke the umbrella in the backyard. Actually, we have no idea whether the umbrella was broken. We just never touched it or opened. The backyard was not clean. It was full of palm leaves and even huge palm branches. It was uncomfortable to sit in the backyard. The worst we were additionally charge for the broken fridge. That was really confusing. The fridge was not broken when we checked out. We tried to communicate with Greg. We thought it was just some kind of mistake. We asked for any evidence of this damage. He did not want to listen to us and never sent the evidence. He just stopped responding to us. Our vacation was ruined. I highly do not recommend this owner.

My family and I own six (6) condos in Barefoot Beach Resort. We have owned these condos for 11 years and have rented to thousands of guests. All our condos have a 5 STAR rating, it is our 5 Star rating that has our regular guests coming back year after year. Its our 5 Star rating that attract new guests every week. All our guest reviews clearly demonstrate that we are a 5 Star organization. The cleaning and maintenance staff are outstanding and very professional. The guest reviews also clearly state that message. The rental to guest Ekaterina was by far the worse rental we have ever had in our 11 years of renting our condos. The filth inside and outside the condo cannot be described. The damage inside and outside the condo could not be described. The pictures that my cleaning staff provided shows only a portion of the damage. The smell in the condo after the guests checked out was so bad that fumigation was required. The VRBO damage deposit of $75 falls very short of covering the cost of the damage/repair and the lost rental opportunities. The pictures of the condo damage had my wife in tears. The pictures of the damage and filth were also provided to the guest on the day of check out. The guest did acknowledge that the pictures were a true representation of what they left behind. The condo only provides parking for one vehicle and the guest was made aware of this at time of booking. Having additional people in the condo and additional vehicles on the resort was never approved. The condo instructions provided clearly state the parking rules and the Check In time and Check Out times. In summary, the condo damages and repairs took about one week to correct. The money spent to repair the damages not only exceeds the VRBO damage deposit but also the rental fee that the guest paid. My family and I are trying to put this very bad rental experience behind us.

The condo was tastefully decorated, well stocked with everything we needed and had recently been updated. Communication with the host was amazing! We appreciated him checking in with us and checking to ensure that our stay was perfect! I would not hesitate to stay again at this unit.

Tolles Apartment gegenüber vom Strand

Das Apartment war absolut sauber und genau so wie im Inserat beschrieben. Der kleine Hof mit Sitzgruppe war ein großes Plus, da er nicht einsehbar war und man in Ruhe seine Mahlzeiten unter freiem Himmel genießen konnte. Sowohl Check in als auch Check out waren komplikationslos und einfach. Die Anlage liegt nur durch die Straße vom wunderschönen Strand getrennt und hat einen eigenen Strandzugang, mit Fußgängerüberweg. Der Pool war beheizt und nicht überlaufen. Die Grillmöglichkeiten, und Waschmaschine und Trockner, direkt um die Ecke, waren weitere Pluspunkte. Das einzige das uns etwas gestört hat war, dass das Apartment sehr hellhörig ist und über uns leider sehr laute Gäste waren. Aber dafür kann natürlich der Vermieter nichts. Adventure-Minigolf, Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig erreichbar. Zum Supermarkt kommt man in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir hatten einen hervorragenden Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir empfehlen das Apartment C112 uneingeschränkt weiter! Vielen Dank!

Perfect location,great condo

Simply a great experience! Amazing location directly across the street from a private entrance to a beautiful stretch of beach. Condo was clean and well taken care of. We did not cook but if we had wanted to everything was there. Property had community grills which were also clean and well taken care of, the pool was also clean, heated, and simply a delight. The intercoastal access was a added bonus. I am giving this five stars because there's no reason not to. If I had one suggestion for the property owner it would be to add blackout curtains in the bedrooms, the light from the exterior lights can be a little bright at night time. Oh and if you need to work remote while you're down there, the Wi-Fi access is strong and there is the cutest little desk/enclosed office type area right off the patio that can be easily used for zoom or conference calls. And speaking of the patio area, what a nice touch to be able to have that ground floor location, super fun to sit out there at night and not have to deal with any stairs. We will absolutely be returning to this property.
