WELCOME GUIDE
Host: Michelle
The Property Manager resides in the Guest House on the property. If you need assistance during your stay, the Property Manager is available to help.
Directions: Search Google Maps for “The Villa Michelle.” Make sure to turn onto John B Berry Road at the West Caret Bay sign. The villa will be on your left, a quarter mile down, with a blue-and-green fence and black gate.
Check-in: 4:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
We appreciate your efforts to leave the villa tidy. Please leave used linens and towels in the main residence laundry room, leave the kitchen and grill clean, and take out the garbage. Pay it forward! You’re welcome to leave groceries, beverages, or sundries for the next guests.
Transportation
We recommend renting a vehicle during your stay. Driving on the left is easier than you might expect. We are happy to recommend private taxis if you prefer not to drive. There are no ride-share apps in the Virgin Islands.
Utilities & Conservation
Solar Power: Our solar system produces enough electricity to meet most of our daily energy needs. If possible, please run laundry and the dishwasher during the day to minimize grid use in the evening.
Water: The villa uses cistern water collected from rainfall, which is filtered and purified for your use. Please help conserve water—turn off faucets while brushing teeth, and don’t let water run while washing dishes.
Septic System: Our septic system is very delicate. Please only flush toilet paper. Flushing feminine products, baby wipes, paper products or anything else even if it says "flushable" can cause the toilets to back up.
Villa Guidelines & Helpful Information
• Groceries: The closest grocery store is Moe’s Fresh Market Northside (9:00 AM to 8:00 PM) which is about a mile from the villa.
• Provisioning: If you’d like the kitchen and bar stocked when you arrive, place a pickup order with a local grocery store and we’ll handle the rest. We recommend Cost-U-Less and The Market. Delivery fees apply.
• Private Chefs & Caterers: Please inquire about our in-villa dining recommendations.
• Drinking Water: Bottled water dispensers with refills are provided.
• Beach Gear: Beach towels, Yeti soft-side coolers, Yeti tumblers, snorkel gear, and beach games are provided. Please rinse snorkel gear with fresh water after use.
• Sunscreen & Sunburn Relief: Reef-safe mineral sunscreen is required by law in the Virgin Islands. Feel free to take a cutting from one of the aloe plants after sun exposure.
• Toiletries: We’re pleased to provide luxury bath amenities during your stay. These items are refilled, so please don’t dispose of empty containers.
• Outdoor Cooking: A gas grill is located on the Main Residence deck.
• Espresso Machine (whole bean): Turn on, allow to rinse, then select your desired coffee preparation.
• Sonos Speakers: Download Sonos app, select “Main Residence” or “Pool” speakers.
• Entertainment: Family games, playing cards, puzzles, dart board, backgammon and poker are available.
• Family Friendly: Pack & Play and baby gates are available.
• Home Office: The console table in the Main Residence living room converts to a desk; a printer and auxiliary monitor are located in the living room closet.
• Cleaning Supplies: Cleaning supplies and a vacuum are provided. To protect the equipment, please do not use the Dyson to remove sand from vehicles—a handheld vacuum for this purpose is provided.
• Shared Laundry: The Property Manager may occasionally need to access the laundry room. We recommend keeping the kitchen-to-laundry-room door closed during your stay.
• Pets on Property: There are two friendly dogs and an outdoor kitty that live with the Property Manager. Jack is a black lab mix; Athena is a Shih Tzu mix; and Reggae is our feline friend that lives in the neighborhood.
• Safety First: Fire extinguishers are located in the living room closets. First-aid kits are under the kitchen sinks. If there is an accident or concern, please notify us immediately.
• Outdoor Security Cameras: There are no cameras inside the villas.
• No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the villas. If you wish to smoke, please use designated outdoor smoking areas and the ashtrays provided.
• Main Residence Reservations: The Poolside Villa is not included in this reservation and will remain unoccupied during your stay. If you would like to use of the Poolside Villa, please contact the Host.
• Registered Guests Only: The villa is intended for use by registered overnight guests only. Day visitors are limited to six guests unless prior approval is granted by the Property Manager.
• No Events/Commercial Use: Events, weddings, receptions, retreats, or commercial activities-including professional photography or videography, branded content creation-are not permitted on the property without prior written approval. Approved events may be subject to an event fee and additional terms.
Pool & Outdoor Entertainment Areas
• Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Poolside Media: 85” Panasonic Smart TV, Apple TV 4K, and Sonos sound system is available for your use. Please keep the volume low and avoid loud music during Quiet Hours.
• Heated, Saltwater Pool: Please let us know if you would like the temperature adjusted.
• Pool Cover: Switch is located next to the pool. Please keep the pool cover closed when not in use. Excess rainwater may occasionally affect the operation of the pool cover. If so, please let us know.
• Pool Light: The switch to the pool light operates several color settings.
• No Running, Jumping, Diving: For your safety, running, jumping or diving is not permitted.
• No Glass: Melamine dishes and plastic cups are available in the Main Residence.
• Umbrellas: Close umbrellas when not in use.

Water Island: Catch the ferry from Crown Bay Marina. Visit Honeymoon Beach and Dinghy's Beach Bar.
Lovango Resort & Beach Club: Resort Day Passes, lunch and Sunday brunch are available. Catch the ferry from Red Hook (book through OpenTable). Casual firepit dinner & music several nights a week. All other nights: fine dining.
