Annalena - lujosa villa muy privada con piscina infinita en la costa NE

Annalena se encuentra en la impresionante y exclusiva costa noreste de Corfú con sus bahías cristalinas y tabernas junto al agua excepcionalmente buenas: estamos a 5 minutos en coche de Kouloura con su fantástica taberna de pescado y a 10 minutos de Agni, San Stefanos y Kassiopi.

La casa está situada en una calle muy tranquila en un terreno rural de 2 acres de olivos, almendros y cipreses en las colinas sobre Kouloura con el campo caminando en la puerta: estas son las laderas que Gerald Durrell exploró y poco ha cambiado de la serie de televisión The Durrells: en Annalena verás moscas de fuego, escucharás cigarras y, si tienes suerte, verás la tortuga que deambula por la ladera.

Annalena es nuestra segunda casa familiar muy querida y se ha convertido en un "hogar lejos del hogar" para muchos de nuestros huéspedes también, algunos de los cuales están en su octava estadía con nosotros. Tiene un interior despejado extremadamente espacioso que irradia luz y espacio, los muebles son elegantes pero cómodos y acogedores y ofrecen todo lo que pueda desear de una relajante casa de vacaciones. Hay terrazas sombreadas y cubiertas afuera con cada habitación que ofrece impresionantes vistas al mar y a la montaña. La piscina infinita se encuentra en la terraza debajo de la casa y tiene una logia de piedra completa con una chimenea en un extremo y un comedor con sombra para 10 personas con una cocina al aire libre en el otro para que pueda nadar y relajarse en la piscina durante todo el día. . Hay una ducha al aire libre y barbacoa también.

La casa está muy bien equipada y el diseño ofrece un alojamiento extremadamente espacioso para una familia numerosa y mucha privacidad para dos familias que viajan juntas.

Nuestro ama de llaves visita 3 veces por semana o puede proporcionar un servicio diario por un costo adicional. Niñera también se pueden arreglar.

Si es necesario, también podemos ayudar con la restauración y la compra de alimentos 'en casa'.

Hay una taberna local y un kafenion a poca distancia a pie.

The villa is beautiful, a rare case where reality matches and possibly exceeds the stunning photos on the website. The owner is great with tips on the area and communication is seamless. Would definitely recommend to those who prefer hilltop views over proximity to bars and restaurants.

Perfect Greek family holiday

It’s been such a wonderful week at Annalena, what a discovery! It was the perfect place to spend our first family holiday in Greece. To start each day with Debbie’s breakfast, kindness and joy was an absolute treat. Renting a boat to discover the coast, followed by lunch at the (Corfu) White House was a special favourite of ours - even though leaving the beautiful house and pool area wasn’t easy! We hope all future guests enjoy it just as much as we did.

What an amazing villa!!!

Spent two fantastic weeks in the magical Villa Annalena. Everything was taken care of from start to finish and everything was so well thought through. The poolside outdoor kitchen had everything including a dishwasher which was so convenient. The Villa really is a fantastic home, very bright and airy, the rooms all had aircon but none of us needed to use them, the rooms are very cool. The house was looked after beautifully by Debbie and Rick and nothing was too much trouble for them. If you don’t fancy going out in the evening, ask Katerina and Demitri to cook some traditional Greek food, it’s really delicious and they are great company. The location, although it is very private and a little remote, is actually in the middle of everywhere you want to be. This part of Corfu is very exclusive and we found so many amazing beach/harbour side tavernas which are all within a 15 minute drive. Hire a car and have fun exploring!! Thank you to Janine and her team for 2 magical weeks, we will be back!

Stunning property

This villa is absolutely gorgeous. It totally lived up to expectation. Due to Covid 19 we had to book at the last minute, Monday to travel Friday. Janine was wonderful. She was straight on the phone helping me with the extra paperwork that Greece required, offering guidance on the weather and temperature and offered loads of information about the house and the locality once we arrived. We were offered a complimentary dinner, on arrival, for our party. We were sent an wonderful choice of dishes. Even at such short notice the meal was cooked and left in the fridge, along with dessert and wine. We have stayed in many beautiful villas around the world, but never have we been welcomed with our first nights meal. This is such a wonderful extra and it was both delicious and greatly appreciated. The villa is really beautiful, wonderfully maintained and immaculate. Janine has made so much effort with the notes she leaves. She has thought of everything! We went to places and Tavernas that were recommended. All were excellent. In spite of the situation all the Tavernas in the many stunning coves were open. Every meal was truly delicious, with excellent service. Janine checked in with us, by text, every few days to ensure we were happy, offer suggestions and help. I told her we were using the fireplaces as it was chilly at night. Having drinks by the outdoor fireplace was a real highlight of our evenings. With-in 24 hours of me telling her this, extra wood was delivered to ensure we did not run out. The views are breathtaking. We enjoyed using all the different sitting spots. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked every night and never found we were missing the implements or utensils we needed. The outdoor kitchen is equally well stocked, another real bonus. We were travelling with a 7 month old baby. A cot was no problem and two highchairs were in situ, one in the house and one in the outdoor kitchen, another very thoughtful plus. Corfu was not a place we had ever considered going to. What made us decide to chose Corfu, out of our few options, was this property. Having spent two weeks in the middle of October at Annalena, I would highly recommend this property and Corfu. With Janine, you are totally in caring hands!

Stunning villa

An absolutely breathtakingly beautiful villa that lived up to all my hopes! Stunning views and a truly lovely house and grounds. We had such a great time, 5 of us. We went mid-October and went walking, sunbathed and swam on beaches, drove round and took a boat along the coast to each beach for the day. We went to a couple of tavernas [one shut each day for the winter as we were there. A day trip to Corfu town and a couple to Kassiopi provided all of the culture and shopping we needed and we brought home a stunning olive wood board with bark edges as well as other lovely souvenirs, photos and memories. Games and DVDs and music at the house provided ample entertainment and we loved cooking together. Highly recommmended for your dream holiday in Corfu if you want to get away from it all.

Autumnal adventure in the golden hills of NE Corfu

If it's seclusion that you want, then this is the place to go. This is so secret a location that even the locals who live 100 metres away from this villa, didn't know that it was there. This is an awe inspiring villa with a majesty unique to itself. We chose to visit in late October when tourists were few and far between. At this time of the year the early, deep orange light of sunrise pierced the cloud above the Albanian mountains opposite and illuminated our all white bedroom, turning it into a golden chalice. Around the villa, grapevines with wilted yellow leaves, provided over ripe fruit for late migrational Red Admiral butterflies, that danced from one berry to the next as they became increasingly intoxicated on the natually fermented juice. The natural history of Corfu does not disappoint and if you are interested in the natural world, then this villa, set on a hillside with extensive landscape views of this part of the eastern Mediterranean is little short of astounding. Not only is this property impressive, it's also elegantly maintained, clean and provides multiple locations for dining and other leisure activities (the recommendations provided by our hosts were excellent). The local coastline is picturesque, dotted with authentic tavernas and when we went swimming, the sea was the temperature of warm milk. One morning we went swimming before the sun rose, all was still above the water but beneath, the sea was teeming with hundreds, if not thousands of tiny, shiny fish. The whole experience was exhilarating. We cannot rate this villa and its location highly enough.

Beautifully situated and luxuriously appointed villa

Our family spent a very happy week at this wonderful villa. With 4 spacious bedrooms, beautiful communal areas and excellently equipped kitchen, you could not ask for more. The villa has wonderful views towards Albania and is secluded and totally peaceful. However a couple of well stocked small supermarkets are within an easy 10 minute drive away, as are some great tavernas. The owner Janine attends to every detail and we could honestly not find fault with anything. Despite very mixed weather we had a fabulous week and would love to return.

An oasis, in the most beautiful part of Corfu

Not enough superlatives to describe how beautiful this property is. Everything you could possibly imagine is here. Such love, care and attention to detail. I visited with my family in 2017, and am returning in 2018. The peace, quiet, beauty and accessibility to everything is just the perfect match. You will to find a better place to stay. Love it!

Stunning property, spectacular views!

We (a group of 6) booked this villa after a stay in Corfu last year after realising how beautiful this part of the island is and how many lovely villas there are to rent. We could see on the website just how lovely the house is but the reality is so much more! Every room is beautifully finished with so many thoughtful touches and great attention to detail so that any eventuality or requirement is catered for. It was extremely well maintained and the cleaning couple came during the week to refresh beds and towels. The owners have been easy to email and answered any questions straight away - even checked to make sure all was well while we were there. We hadn't fully appreciated how high up it was - the views are absolutely stunning - but the down side is the road up to the house - can be quite tricky (especially when wet) so I would recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle. We loved Kerasia beach and also enjoyed a day's boat hire - had lunch at Agni. I would also recommend getting Eleni over for a home cooked meal at the house (her moussaka was the best we had). The Panorama Taverna, a few minutes walk from the house, is a Godsend when you don't want to drive home! Kassiopi has many fine restaurants but Trilogia is worth a visit for a special occasion. I would definitely recommend this property - perfect for a group of adults like us or two families, especially with children from about 8 upwards.

A wonderful property in a superb location - exceeded all expectations.

Annalena is a beautiful property in a wonderful location with far reaching views over the Ionian Sea to Albania. We were a family of eight (three teenage children) - spacious bedrooms all en suite together with balconies - and spectacular views. The pool was very much enjoyed by the whole family and many happy hours were spend lazing or swimming in the sunshine always finishing with a BBQ and watching the stars, late into the evening. The location was easily accessible to the many little coves and the supermarket. A trip one evening to Corfu Town was only an hour away and then back to our peaceful location - Annalena. We hired a boat for the day which we loved exploring the many little bays and the children loved snorkelling and discovering the underwater cave. Enjoyed a lovely lunch in a waterside taverna. A very happy holiday.

A Beautiful villa in a stunning location

I have just returned from a week at Annalena with my family, 4 adults and 3 kids who all had an amazing time. With numerous stunning beaches, bays and tavern’s within 20 minutes travel time from the villa, our only problem was in extracting ourselves from the side of the villa’s pool which affords you the most stunning ocean views over to Albania in the distance. I would highly recommend taking an evening boat trip to Corfu town and to make sure you visit the Panorama tavern (10 minutes’ walk from the villa) for dinner at least once to take in the views and sample the food. The best place I have taken my family in a long time, I will be back.

Every detail thought of to make a magical stay.

Jim and I were wanting an early break and how lucky we were to happen apon Villa Annalina. We have stayed in many villas gites and chateaux and Annalina is by far the best we have found. A magical holiday

It’s magical. I was transported to a different world to the one I am used to. To wake up in the morning and sit on a balcony looking out on misty hills and water shimmering in the sunshine is a rare delight. Annalena is comfortable, elegant and beautiful. The owners have created a holiday masterpiece high up in the hills to which I would love to return.

Only need one word....fabulous

We had a fantastic girlie holiday..it is a truly magical property..as soon as we arrived we felt relaxed..the views beautiful..the pool and the whole villa is lovely..Janine certainly looks after all our needs..the local tavernas were all very welcoming with the highlight being our day in the hired boat...would definitely recommend Corfu and this villa without any hesitation..thank you Janine for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful luxury hideaway in the hills

A truly magnificent hideaway high in the hills of Corfu overlooking a beautiful coastline. Annalena is a magnificent and beautiful house that is clearly loved and cared for by its owners. The house itself is absolutely stunning and has been furnished and decorated as though it is a main home - ensuring that everything you need during your stay is available if and when needed. The house was absolutely spotless and the housekeepers have to be praised for this as it was immaculate and nothing was out of place. A welcome pack with wine, chocolates and other welcomed products was provided on arrival which we greatly appreciated throughout our stay. The pool and pool area was very clean and it was such a lovely place to spend the hot days that we had whilst we were there. A hot tub is also available to use at your leisure. Annalena was exactly as described on the website and the photos were very true to life. You can walk into the local villages through the beautiful hillsides and you will find friendly smiles anywhere you go. We particulary liked a restaurant that was around 15 mins walk away called Panorama - good value for money, food is very tasty and extremely friendly people run the place. There is a supermarket not far away to pick up everyday essentials as and when you need them. The owner provided us with very extensive instructions on how to get to the villa from the airport and they literally were perfect and got us straight to the doorstep of Annalena. Best instructions that I've ever been given to direct me somewhere. A very well written, personal and thorough guide was provided by the owners about local attractions, restaurants to try and even a wine guide! We had our 3 month old son with us and a travel cot was provided and set up for us on our arrival. The shaded area at the end of the pool made a perfect spot for our son in the shade during the day whilst he was sleeping. The villa has an absolutely magnificent view and you genuinely feel like you are the only people in the world when staying here. We would definitely recommend this villa to our friends for a stay and if you want somewhere to completely relax - this is the villa for you!

beautiful luxurious villa

The property is maintained to an extremely high standard, the decor is stunning, everything has been thought of to make your stay comfortable , luxurious and beautiful. The views are outstanding. The villa itself exceeds expectations as although the photographs are wonderful, it is even better on arrival. The owners had left a handbook with everything you could wish to know and had taken a great deal of time and trouble over it, which meant that you wasted no time trying to find everything out, which was extremely thoughtful. The local area is beautiful, lots to do and see, and wonderful tavernas. We had just the best holiday and hope to return again.

Beautiful relaxing villa with an amazing view

A fantastic villa to stay in north Corfu. The villa is pristine with lots of character, many, many eating areas and terraces - always somewhere perfect for each part of the day. Great swimming pool and so relaxing. Easy to travel to other parts of Corfu and lots of beaches, tavernas/restaurants and activities to do and explore. North Corfu is beautiful with hills of flowers and crystal blue seas. Highly recommend this villa and would go back and stay again.

Stunning Villa

We were a party of 6 with 4 teenagers . We had a fabulous stay at Annalena & would love to return again. Chris & Janine were extremely helpful before we arrived giving us lots of information & tips to get the best from our stay. The villa is stunning , a real home from home with everything you could possible wish for , including an impressive library of cookery books, interior design books & local interest books, not to mention the amazing library of DVDs The villa is spotlessly clean & very well maintained. The views are spectacular . We spent lots of lazy days by the beautiful infinity pool reading , relaxing & having long lunches under the shade of the fabulous outdoor kitchen. We hired a motorboat nearly every other day which was great fun, exploring the beautiful coastline & stopping off to either have a picnic lunch & a swim in the numerous coves or for lunch or drinks in the numerous tavernas scattered along the coast. The teenagers enjoyed water skiing, dinghy sailing, doughnut ting & a trip to the water park near Corfu Town. A very successful family holiday .

An idyllic break, in beautiful surroundings

What a wonderful villa, surrounded by incredible scenery! The attention to detail, and the little extra touches make this a very special destination. Though we did tear ourselves away from Annalena a couple of times, to visit a few of the recommended spots on the coast, everything we could have wanted was there for us. Evenings on the terrace, watching fireflies dancing all around us, in complete peace. Our party spanned three generations, and there was something for everyone at Annalena. Very reluctantly we left at the end of our stay, hoping to return again soon.

Relaxing Family Getaway.

We had a fantastic week at the villa, which has something for everyone.Our family group comprised of an age range between 19 and 70 and the villa accommodated all 8 of us, with plenty of space to enjoy.The villa is beautifully maintained and furnished to a very high standard, giving a home from home feeling with everything you could wish for to ensure a perfect holiday.The surrounding area is extremely pretty and it is well worth hiring a boat to visit the many stunning bays in the area.Corfu Town was a real hit with our younger family members , who particularly enjoyed the fabulous shopping as well as the cafes and restaurants, although 40 mins in the car we did end up going twice.Janine the owner is extremely helpful and the booking proceedure and after care is very professional.I would not hesitate in recommending the villa to family and friends and would hope to go back myself oneday.

Don't tell anyone!!

This villa is so fantastic I really want to keep it a secret! The villa booking process was so easy with lots of contact from Janine answering my questions and pleanty of helpful information before we left England.The drive up was a bit hairy but after a couple of days we were racing up and down like locals.When we got out of the car at the villa we were just speachless.It was much better than the photos (which were amazing anyway) and the views were to die for. As other guests have said it is equipped with everything you could possibly need and it has been very tastefully renovated.We have stayed in many villas in Corfu and other islands in the Med and this is by far the best.The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable,the bathrooms luxurius and the kitchen was full of every appliance and gadget you could need for preparing a meal.The sitting room was enormous and the separate tv room was a god send when someone wanted to watch a dvd or play on the playstation.The best feature of the house though was the pool area.Lots of room to sunbathe and relax in the shade or the sun.A fantastic outdoor kitchen that even had a dishwasher,fridge and coffee maker so no going up and down to the house to get a drink or make a snack and a great bbq for times when you dont feel like going out for a meal.My favourtite place was the loggia which was so comfortable to sit in and read out of the sun but still had the fantastic views to gaze down on.Lots of cruise ships and super yachts to look at through the thoughtfully provided binoculars and some fantastic birds and wildlife to watch too.The housekeepers Rhona and Paul were great.Nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept the villa spotlessly clean.Lots of fab tavernas to eat in on the coast within a 10 min.car drive and the Panorama taverna within walking distance that was very reasonably priced.Our favourite eating places were trillogia in kassiopi about 10 mins away and Avlaki taverna on the beach at Avlaki.( the far right of Avlaki bay is great for snorkelling)We also rented a speed boat with help from Janine and spent a great day sailing up and down the northeast coast. This was the best family holiday we have spent in Corfu.There were 6 of us ages 27 to 63 and we all agree that Villa Annalena is just fantastic and we would recommend it to any family wanting a private,luxurious hideaway.

What a fantastic place

What a fantastic holiday!!! My husband and I stayed at Annalena over the Easter holidays this year and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. It has to be said the accommodation was absolutely amazing - everything you need is in the villa including all the little extra touches that set this villa apart and make it a real “home from home”. We loved the variety of areas that you could enjoy around the house, every room or outdoor area has it’s own unique feel. The location is also stunning with the most amazing views and beautiful natural surroundings - it felt such a calm and tranquil place to be. It was also so easy to get into the car and enjoy the beautiful surrounding areas and there are so many excellent options for dining, sight seeing or exploring!! Chris and Janine’s recommendations in the guide book were so useful. I would recommend this villa to anyone that wishes to get away from it all and enjoy that little something extra that this villa offers to any type of holiday, a stunning retreat in a beautiful part of the world.
