This lovely house in Rayburn Country, Brookeland offers a serene and spacious retreat, ideal for families seeking a tranquil vacation spot. It's proximity to the golf course, Lake Same Rayburn, and various amenities ensures a well-rounded experience for all guests.

Upon entering, you're welcomed by an inviting open concept living room and kitchen, perfect for hosting gatherings or simply relaxing. The master bedroom is generously sized and accompanied by a beautifully appointed master bathroom. Two additional bedrooms and another bathroom provide ample accommodation for guests.

Outside, the large covered porch is a highlight, furnished with an outdoor dining table where you can enjoy peaceful mornings with coffee and scenic views of sunrise. The home is tastefully furnished throughout, ensuring both comfort and convenience. Essential amenities like shampoo, condition, and body wash are stocked in the bathrooms, while a washer/dryer in the laundry room adds to the convenience.

Located 5 minutes from Umphrey Pavillion, public ramp and restaurants near Lake Sam Rayburn, Rayburn Country. Great fishing, hunting, golfing or just enjoy lake activities and peace and quiet. Only 5 minutes from the public boat launch and Rayburn Country golf course. 1.5 miles is the famous restaurant "The stump" and “Hamburger Depot”, Dollar General store, tackle store, gas station and a vending ice machine.

20 minutes from Jasper (Where you can find larger stores-Walmart, Lowes, CVS), 45 minutes from Lufkin and 1 hour 15 minutes from Beaumont.

Week stay

Inside of house is nice and clean, very comfortable but no WiFi. Outside needs some yard work and if you have a boat there is not enough room in driveway for parking. Luckily next door there is an open lot that worked out fine. ALOT of neighborhood cats roaming the property. Nice patio and great access to surrounding amenities.

Great Location and Space, But Lacking Key Amenities

The house itself is in a great location—quiet, friendly neighborhood and close to everything we needed. The size of the house was perfect for our stay, offering plenty of space to relax.However, there were some drawbacks. No WiFi meant no TV unless we used our own hotspot and streaming service, which was inconvenient. The kitchen lacked pots for cooking, making meal prep difficult.A neutral note—the house is for sale, and it felt like the owners were in the process of moving. Their personal belongings were scattered throughout, which made it feel more like staying in someone’s home while they were away rather than a dedicated rental.Overall, the stay was decent, but a few improvements could make it much better!

Great layout

Loved the location and layout of the home but didn’t realize WiFi was not available and had to hunt for the remote to the TV - would have been helpful to have instructions on how to run the TV and have fresh batteries in that remote. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands but they did provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste. Would be helpful to identify what the light switches controlled as there were many of them and felt the place could have been cleaner (inside and out). Did appreciate the like new bath towels/wash cloths.
