Welcome to Retreat 19, the crown jewel of Shasta Lakeshore Retreat! This sprawling 4,000+ sq. ft. Lakefront home is designed for grand gatherings, relaxation, and adventure. With breathtaking views, an expansive layout, and thoughtfully designed spaces, it offers the ultimate getaway on Shasta Lake.

Beyond its grand common areas, Retreat 19 offers a variety of private and versatile spaces to ensure comfort for your group:

It has a number of different rooms including two large master bedroom suites with walk in closets and full private baths, 5 bathrooms in all, large family room, dining room, and kitchen. It also has several other rooms including a den, a office, game & entertaining room, and a bonus room/shop. We are restricted on the number of adults since only two of the rooms were listed officially as "bedrooms" when this large home was built. Following county guidelines, we are not restricted on the number of non-adults that are under 16, but we do have a total max that we have imposed of 15 guests (6 adults and up to 9 non-adults). Please reach out to us if you have any questions or would like some clarification on this or anything else.

If this home does not work for you, we have 9 homes that are all on the same lakefront street where you can book two or three of them together. This provides the space but also some additional privacy when you need to get away for a while. Shasta Lakeshore Retreat.

Great house, great location! We stayed for 3 nights with our church youth group and truly enjoyed our time here. The 3-story layout worked perfectly for us and made it easy to separate girls and guys on different floors. A couple of amenities didn’t work (such as the ice machine), but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We would gladly stay here again

Decadent getaway!

This home was perfect for my retreat. My group loved the experience of staying here, being able to use the paddle boards, kayaks and hot tub made it feel extra special. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfy. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Fantastic Location

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house has so much space! Lori and Dave were extremely accommodating and immediate addressed any needs or concerns we had. The second kitchen downstairs was wonderful for our very large group! We are absolutely planning to stay again.

Great family gathering!

This was a perfect venue for our family of 17. We enjoyed the space in the home, the hot tub, the paddle boards and kayaks, the games, the big screen tv for one movie night and the well equipped kitchen for cooking for a crowd. A couple of our grandchildren said they wish we could live here together all year! We liked coming in the fall when the lake wasn’t busy but still warm enough to paddleboard and kayak.

family vacation

We love to choose a home large enough to accommodate our large family which can be tricky especially as we like someplace on or near the water that is safe for kiddos. Retreat #19 met all our expectations and more. Lori was exceptionally helpful and available for any and all questions and needs.

Amazing Retreat

Our family is local to Redding California and as a tradition spends every Memorial Day weekend on Shasta Lake. This was our first stay with Shasta Lake retreats. It will not be our last. We were in Retreat 19 which I believe is the largest of the retreats. This home was incredible. The decor was done in a lake life vibe.. huge beautiful Windows of the A-frame overlooking the picturesque Lake.. the house was actually overstocked. We had everything we could imagine and more. They provided binoculars indoor games outdoor games water toys and more.. the booking process was easy.. questions were answered in a very timely manner.. I highly recommend Shasta Lakeshore retreats for your Shasta Lake vacation

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 19 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.
