¡El verano de 2019 no ha terminado! Ven y quédate con nosotros y experimenta los altos niveles del lago a fines de temporada ... ¡no te decepcionará!

Este alquiler de vacaciones frente al lago en el lago Shasta fue adquirido en 2008. Renovamos completamente nuestra casa en 2017, con pisos nuevos, ventanas nuevas, gabinetes nuevos, electrodomésticos nuevos y una nueva unidad de aire acondicionado. ¡Este es realmente un retiro exquisito!

La propiedad es muy espaciosa 2.000 s. F. alquiler familiar en un tercio de un lote de acre, con una sala de juegos en el garaje y un bote o remolque de fácil acceso en el lugar (fuera de la calle). Esta casa de vacaciones está ubicada en la pintoresca comunidad de Lakehead y está de espaldas a Shasta Trinity National Forest Land con una puerta privada al sendero del Servicio Forestal directamente al lago. ¡No hay nada entre usted y el Lago, excepto su deseo de llegar allí!

La casa duerme 10 en camas muy cómodas en las habitaciones y puede acomodar colchones de lujo queen adicionales (provistos) en la suite principal y el área de la sala de estar, así como carpas en el patio trasero.

La gran terraza privada a la sombra se ve directamente en el bosque y la ensenada del lago detrás de la propiedad. El área del patio está preparada para comidas al aire libre o relajarse con mesa, sillas, bar, cofre de hielo y barbacoa.

Puede amarrar su bote a la orilla o alquilar un deslizamiento y transportarlo a nuestra plataforma incorporada fuera de la calle. ¿No tienes un bote? ¡Tenemos un bote para alquilar! Además de muchos alquileres razonables para todo, desde motos de agua, botes de esquí, botes de pesca y botes de patio están disponibles localmente. ¿No quieres un bote? Relájese junto a la orilla en una tumbona, flota en el agua tibia en una tranquila cala o pescado.

My family celebrate my birthday and my brother in laws birthday at this home and had a wonderful time. The home is very spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the items we needed for cooking and serving. There is a short 2-4 minute walk to the lake. The home had paddle boards we were able to take down to the lake with us. The game room in the garage was perfect for the kids. Elizabeth was very responsive and great to work with. We will definitely book this home again if we are in that area!

Lake home

Elizabeth was a fabulous host, quick to reply to messages and so gracious as well. The house was perfect and spacious, clean and had everything we needed tonfeel at home. The house was perfect fornour group.

Memorial day extended family get together

We had a great time staying at Elizabeth and Karen's home. Was was pleasure to meet and talk to them. The home was spacious enough for our big group of adults and kids. The home was well stocked for our needs. Will stay again if we are in that area.

Perfect lakeside accommodation

This was the perfect spot for our family and friends annual lake trip. Besides backing to the lake and being walking distance to the water where we anchored the boats there was plenty of parking for 4 vehicles and two trailers. The house had plenty of room and all the amenities one could need. The garage game room was an absolute plus with the pool table and dart board. Will definitely be booking for next summer!

Great property!

Extremely impressed with the owner and the property. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and was very close the to lake (walking distance via the private trail in the back). The RV pad allowed me to park my 21 ft. Bass boat and truck on the property. Also, this proptis walking distance to the bar, restaurant, grocery store, and ice cream shop. Will definitely be staying here again!

Great stay but it was too short!

Wholeheartedly recommend this rental home for your Lake Shasta stay. High water this season provided access to Doney Creek w/ a short 2 min walk through the back yard trail lined with luscious greenery. Easily walk to the water for wading, swimming, fishing or playing. The location is very close to the Doney Creek train trestle, so many daring folks were jumping off both the trestle and bridge. *Added bonus for those trainspotters. The Union Pacific freight trains come regularly.* Driveway is good for two vehicles. Then resort to street for any additional vehicles. There is a parking pad on the side of the house too that can be used for a vehicle. An experienced boater can back a rig there but not advised for someone new. Check with mgmt and get their okay first to park boat there. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook minus spices and seasoning. Fridge was big, clean and empty ready for your groceries. We didn’t BBQ but both a charcoal and propane was available. All appliances worked as should. We came the weekend of a massive heatwave, with temps in the 105-110 range. The AC kept up and provided relief when we got off the water. The shower in the main communal bathroom posed a challenge to my 14 yo to balance water temp. Aside from that, the 3 bathrooms were clean with good water pressure. The beds(!), they were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Master had California king while the other two rooms feature 2 full beds.

Great House!

House was great! For 20+ years we have rented a houseboat on Lake Shasta but decided to change it up this year. Best decision ever. After a day on the lake it was heaven to come back to a real shower, nice beds and good air conditioning!

A great getaway!

This place is great. Lovely home. So clean, well cared for. One more night would have been great. Two more nights would have been perfect if there had been more water in lake Shasta. Temperatures were 100-105while here. Hot. The house was nicely air conditioned to the best it could be under the circumstances. We went to mount Shasta for a look see. We went to McCloud falls and hiked from the the first to the second fall. We had a picnic at lake siskiyou. There was much more water there and we put our kayaks in. Fabulous. We had one dinner out at the Cook House at Lakehead. It was great. A good time was had by all!

Mid April 2021 stay

We were a group of 4 adults and two teens plus a dog and the house was perfect for us. A very nice cozy place with all the amenities, and tastefully decorated interiors. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances were in great condition. There were plenty of towels to use for everyone and the property manager Elizabeth was very prompt with responses which made the check-in and check-out process smooth. Overall a great find. Will definitely recommend.

Beautiful and very comfortable home!

We had a wonderful time on our visit! I found the house to be very clean, modern, and spacious. It was a great location for us to go on adventures each day to explore the Shasta area. Down the road was a great place to fish. We brought dinner and fished at dusk...it was so peaceful and beautiful. The house was very well stocked. Everything you need is there! Nice thick towels, too! My family and I were very comfortable. Even though I do understand why, the only down side for us was the audio/camera in the backyard, It made us feel a bit uncomfortable and awkward to sit outside, so we didn't enjoy the backyard much. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay!

Nice get-away place

Very clean.....and having a full bathroom for each bedroom was great. Nice area for some hiking + a short walk to view the lake. The most well-stocked kitchen we've experienced!

Wonderful Home Away from Home

Our stay at this property was outstanding; just a bit disappointed that the lake level was so low. However, with that said, the property listing accurately describes all amenities. The house is in a quiet neighborhood; as mentioned from a previous reviewer, there is an RV campground next door - not an issue for our stay - quiet hours were maintained by the campground. There is a train that runs periodically near the house, again, for us not an issue. The house is immaculate, very clean. The communication with the property owner outstanding - she was always available to answer any questions we had and answered promptly. The setting of the home is very calming as it is on the edge of a nature preserve and the backyard takes advantage of this with plenty of seating on the patio. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay, including being pet friendly. For access to the lake, you really couldn't be any closer, you just may want to consider going earlier in the summer for the lake level to be higher. We were very satisfied with renting this home and we would stay again.

June Visit

This is a lovely home-seems so spacious for 2000 square feet! There are lots of corners for people to have some distance if you have a bigger group, and everything is so nice but not so fancy that you feel like you can't relax. Really does feel like a home. We had a few minor issues, but Elizabeth was very prompt and helpful in her response. There aren't a lot of places to stay where you can actually walk to the lake, and this place has that which is really nice. It's a bit rocky getting down and not much of a beach area, but because it's a mountain lake not sure if that can be helped. The neighborhood is a little bit run down in parts, but maybe that's just how it is in a lake town. It seemed safe, and that was our main priority. There is a RV campground right next to the house. It wasn't a problem, and the area was really quiet in the evenings, but I didn't see that in any of the other reviews so just thought I'd mention it as an FYI. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this home.

My family moved to the Lake in 1972 and have enjoyed being a part of this community since.

This house is a very accommodating. It has large doors and wide open spaces that make it roomy and inviting for large groups. It has been outfitted with almost everything you could need while on a relaxing vacation...all you need to bring is your clothes and groceries! We strive to make this a destination that our guests will want to return to year after year. Our family loves this home and we know that you will too!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There are only a few vacation rentals on the Lake that actually border Forest Service property with a direct trail to the Lake and our property is one of them. You can tie your boat to the shoreline and walk from the house to access the Lake. Our property has its own private gate directly to the Forest Service trail directly to the water's edge. Our property also has an off-street pad that will accommodate a large truck and trailer and driveway parking for other vehicles. We have converted the garage into a gameroom with a pool/ping pong table and other games. The entire property has been remodeled, decorated, landscaped and set up to provide every convenience for a relaxing, fun vacation.
