Cozy Peninsula Lake Cabin on 40 Acres

This beautiful fully furnished 2 bedroom modern cabin nestled in the Smoky Hills of Minnesota has all the amenities and is welcoming you!
Stepping in, you will be in awe of the rustic but modern finishes with plenty of wood accents.
There is a main floor bedroom with small closet for your use. Also, a loft bedroom with a queen bed.
The bathroom has a shower with glass surround. Also there is a full sized washer and dryer for your needs.
The cabin is built overlooking a small lake with excellent views and no other residences on the lake!
There is a trail along the lakeshore that boasts great views, especially in the Fall.
The covered screened in porch is begging you to sit and enjoy it anytime! Or else enjoy the open deck with a barbecue grill. There is also a bonfire pit with wood available overlooking the lake.
Come enjoy this property as much as we do. Watch the loons or the beavers from the kayaks in the summer or get out and snowshoe or do some sledding in the winter!
We can't wait to welcome you to our fabulous retreat in Osage. We look forward to hosting you at our place.

Great retreat

The property is amazing. The cabin has all the amenities. We enjoyed camp fires every night. The kayaks were fun. We saw loons and swans on the lake. We explored the area and found fun swimming beaches and fishing spots. 10/10. Would definitely stay again.

This property is exactly what it says it is. Located on a beautiful lake in the middle of Minnesota. The cabin offers great privacy with the ability to still do outdoor activities if you so choose!

I spent 4 full nights enjoying this magnificent cabin. The property is truly beautiful. The walking trail around the property was an added bonus that I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved spending nights by the fire taking in the stars and calls of the birds. I was also lucky enough to see the Aurora my first night there I couldn't of asked for more, it was a wonderful time.

Peaceful cabin on the lake.

Beautiful little cabin right next to private lake. Maple syrup made right on the place. White swans on the lake along with other fowl birds. We absolutely loved the cabin. I hope to own one similar one day. Easy check thank you! in.

Serene cabin location on lake

We were looking for a peaceful getaway's away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and boy, did we ever find it! This delightful cabin had it all - well equipped furnishings with comfortable beds, wifi and smart tv which we didn’t expect with the remote location, and scenic lakeside screened in porch. Waking up to a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding trees with their fall colors felt almost surreal - a little piece of paradise on earth! Looking forward to coming back again for a stay!

This cabin was exactly as described plus more. It was cozy and clean and felt larger than what it actually was due to the open space concept. The extras of this place which made it perfect for me and my husband are: 1. The lake was in a twisted 8 shape, which allowed us to kayak even on a very windy day, since there was little fetch, it also had lots of hidden pockets to explore; I went swimming and snorkeling as well, since it was so clean - lots of macrophytes, which indicates a healthy lake 2. Most of the windows in the cabin either faced east, which had a beautiful sunrise; south, which provided warmth; and west which had the beautiful sunset; and 3. The beds were even more comfortable than the one I have at home. We had a wonderful fall getaway. Thank you.

A special place

Loved having an environmental lake to ourselves! Peninsula is irregularly shaped so you can meander around in the provided kayaks to different nooks & crannies. So fun to float mellowly before sunset when birds start roosting and beaver slaps its tail… (Lake is very clean but there’s shore vegetation; we were not intrepid enough to wade in to swim, but the frogs were happy.) There’s a path for a deeper-woods hike, or walk up the road to some vistas of hay ranches. Fire pit has a nice view, and amazing night sky in the garden clearing. Also appreciated the screened-in porch, and lots of windows for natural light & fresh air – the cabin has a small-space design aesthetic with quality construction, lovely woodwork, and a charming maple syruping wall motif. It has everything you need – Janel truly wants you to feel welcome! We were glad to find this gem!!

Everything about this place was charming. It's quiet and the view is gorgeous! The set up is perfect for a winter getaway. The chocolates and maple syrup was a nice touch too. Highly recommend!!
The view from the loft is the best. A good book and a quiet morning was so nice.
