Jungle, Yoga and Surf Sanctuary in Central North Guiones, Nosara.

Casa Bonita is a uniquely secluded oasis in the center of Playa Guiones, perfect for families, retreat groups and friends.

Casa Bonita was built as a home for people to commune, discover, remember and pursue their passions. Specifically the house and grounds were designed for surfers and yogis.

The location of Casa Bonita is so central that visitors planning to stay in Nosara need not rent a car while here or can do so on a daily basis.

The house has five beds accommodating up to ten people in elegant, tropical, ease and is set amidst a spacious and completely unique garden. Just beyond its threshold lies dependably world class surf, iconographic sunsets and the heart of North Guiones restaurants and nightlife.

Casa Bonita's thoughtfully designed surf bodega allow you to safely and securely house up to 12 of your short or long boards with an adjacent workstation.

Casa Bonita has a shaded, fan-cooled yoga studio patio complete with props for up to 10 people upon request.

The house has A/C units and ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and there are two outdoor showers. The kitchen is brand new and includes induction cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, proper coffee maker.

Casa Bonita's unusually large garden offers its guests privacy and seclusion. In it, a charming outdoor seating area verges on a sukabumi stone-lined pool. All is surrounded by lush vegetation, which reveals the occasional wildlife spotting of birds, iguanas, howler monkeys, coatis and crabs.

While Costa Rica does have many of the conveniences you are accustomed to having at home, navigating a foreign country can feel a bit tricky. For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours, to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.

Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.

Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There isno guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access always is crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card.Please note that the Homeowner nor the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager.

Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.

Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay.Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).

Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.

Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.
