Disfrute de una cabaña de locura simple, pero cómoda, vintage. Esta cabaña original, construida en 1945, es una de las pocas que quedan en Folly Beach. En el pasado, los locales construían a mano su campamento familiar en Folly Beach y disfrutaban de la belleza de esta isla barrera: la playa, las aves y la brisa. La pesca, la pesca de cangrejos, los camarones y las ostras eran una forma de vida ... y aún lo son. Este maravilloso estilo de vida de campo bajo se representa en el arte de la cabaña.

¡Aparca tu coche y saca las chanclas! SunLove está a 5 minutos a pie de la playa y a 5 minutos a pie de Center Street, que está repleta de excelentes restaurantes, bares y tiendas. Todo es divertido: el River Park, el muelle de pesca, la tienda de comestibles de Bert, la cafetería y mucho más se encuentran a pocos pasos de distancia. Host is amazing!! The house is perfect. We did cook a full Thanksgiving meal, GREAT kitchen, had everything we needed. Easy walk to Bert's. The main street, the beach, just the best location. Did puzzles, played Rummikub, great back yard and very comphy bedrooms. Loved the downstairs shower for Grampa and has an excellent laundry :)

Folly Beach original gem

Location, charm, and the owner all the reasons we loved this VRBO Folly beach classic gem. The older house was well decorated, stocked and kept up and had amenities that made our trip most enjoyable! Only a few blocks from the beach and the main restaurant area on Folly, but far enough away to not be in the hustle of it. Perfect location. We rarely used our car all week. Walk to it all! Most importantly, the owner was incredibly accommodating and made sure our trip was enjoyable and was responsive to any needs that came up during our stay. We will be back!

Family fun

Sun Love Cottage was the perfect setting for our vacation. The beach access road is across the street and the cottage was well equipped. Jackie was the perfect host. Attentive but not intrusive. Would recommend walking down to see the Morris Island lighthouse in the evening to see the beautiful sunset.

Great Location, Friendly Host

Great location for this beach rental! We could walk to everything - beach, restaurants, shopping, dog park, pickleball / basketball court, golf cart rentals, and more! We loved the screened in porch out back and the fenced in backyard for our pups and our kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. The host was very responsive to questions and available for us as needed. It was great having the washer and dryer there and there were lots of beach towels to use too! The only downside for us was that we did feel like the cottage was in need of a deep cleaning. The ceiling fans were caked with dust and the trash can was very dirty inside and out. The arms of the couches were dirty and we found places on the floors and tables that had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. All of the bedding felt very clean, but bath towels seemed old and in need of replacement. We tried to use the vacuum and it was full and caked with so much dust and hair it wasn't picking much up until we cleaned it out. We had to retrieve a dog toy from under the couch and there was a lot of dirt and hair under there that wasn't from our stay. It’s also worth noting that the listing says there is a hot tub/spa/whirlpool but that isn’t accurate. Overall this house was a great fit for our family of 6 and 2 dogs. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Our host was great and promptly answered all of our questions. Folly Beach is a great community. We will definitely be back.

Great location. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. The cottage is comfortable with plenty of seating both inside and on the screened in back porch. Bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and 2 kids.

We loved it!

Wonderful sunny stay!

An adorable and comfortable stay for my family and I! Great back yard and screened in porch made for relaxing and fun for both us and our pups! Jackie is incredibly friendly and helpful; if she came and went in her studio at all during our stay we never even knew. The house is right across the street from public beach access which made for a quick and lovely walk to the beach. Center Street and everything else Folly has to offer was only a short walk away including Bert’s for a quick grab of anything needed of some yummy beach snacks! Wished we never had to leave; Sun Love Cottage is everything Folly and we definitely recommend it and Jackie!

Thanksgiving 2022

Wonderful for a Folly house to be dog friendly. House even has a small doggie door onto a screened porch that has a door to a very nice fenced yard. House is close, but not too close, to downtown and a short walk to beach. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of hot water for showers. The kitchen is very well equipped. We’re quite elderly and the narrow stairs gave us some good exercise but there are handholds to help. Bedrooms are all upstairs. We do plan to come again. Owner is very cooperative.

Canine Comfort

So many things came together to make our stay at Sun Love Cottage enjoyable for all of us, including the doggie member of our group. The back porch was a great place to visit and watch lovely Luna run in the screened back yard. The kitchen and dining area were great for our traditional breakfasts and seafood dinner and we loved being able to walk to all the delicious restaurants. Towels, the washer and dryer and outside hose and shower helped us enjoy the nearby beach and keep the sand at bay. Having 2 bathrooms and the bedrooms upstairs gave each of us privacy as needed. Comfort for all.

Charming cottage

We had a great stay with our teens and our pups. Cute little cottage with a great screened porch and fenced in yard. An easy walk to the beach, and close to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Sun love cottage

Everything went smoothly and location was good. Jackie gave us information that helped so much. If you want an easier walk to the beach go to the access from the roadway rather than the paths. House was well equipped.

Comfortable house in a peaceful and convenient location

We loved our stay here! We walked everywhere and especially loved being able to bring our dogs on vacation with us. The fenced yard was great! We used the screened porches every day to enjoy our coffee in the morning and have drinks in the evening. We didn't cook because it was hot and because there were so many good restaurants within walking distance. The air conditioning was super cold and felt great after long hot days at the beach. The beds were comfy and the location was quiet. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Sun Love.

We always love Folly and were sooo lucky to have found Jackie’s house this trip. The house is charming, the kitchen very well appointed and the beds were super comfy. Our favorite part was the large, shaded screen-in back porch with access to a roomy, well maintained fenced in backyard for our doodle Piper. The location is really close to Center Street and the River Park and with the new beach access directly across the street we on the beach in less than 5 minutes. We are already planning another trip in the fall to Jackie’s house. Best Folly Beach trip yet.

Just what we were looking for

Everything was fine, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the back screened in porch and fenced in backyard for the dog. Just a short walk to the pier. The area the house was in was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the single bed(s) in one of the bedrooms, they are not very comfy for a full grown person, we ended up having one person sleep on the couch instead.

Everything you needed in a great location, close to the beach. Quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood. House is cozy and comfortable. Jackie is available whenever you need her!
