Este apartamento con cocina, situado en la hermosa finca histórica de Arceno, es ideal para los turistas que quieren alejarse de todo. Beautiful countryside

The accommodation was great, we loved sitting out on the patio and having the space. Gaia arranged a private chef to come in and cook for my husband’s birthday and it was fabulous!

Peaceful stay in Chianti

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Tuscany. Anna and Ross made everything so easy . We love their flat. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is stocked if you want to cook. The home is comfortable. And the setting is so peaceful and feels remote but is close to villages where you can eat at delicious restaurants and only 20 minutes from Siena. It was absolutely amazing!

Good value stay in a beautiful vineyard

We spent eight nights at Villa Arceno and found the property to be a welcome reprieve for us on our otherwise busy vacation. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and grilling florentine steaks from the neighborhood market. The welcome basket was extremely generous as was the continuous supply of Arceno wine. While the house was charming, we couldn’t help but feel the two-floor unit was only broom swept clean as there were cobwebs found throughout the house. The outside garden was objectively beautiful, and with all of the wonderful flowers came many insects. Citronella candles were provided and moderately helped with that. The location is super and in the middle of a gorgeous vineyard.

Amazing farmhouse set in gorgeous vineyard

This place was gorgeous, clean, lovely furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, and extremely comfortable bed. Surrounded by lush vineyards, olive trees? and fig trees. We had a wonderful relaxing time. It is difficult to find at night. It would be helpful to provide directions with distances to the turns in km or miles. But once you find it, you can’t get lost. Gracious owner and very helpful manager.

Tuscany at it's best

It was beautiful stay in the heart of Tuscany surrounded only by vineyards and green forests. The place is like home even on the arrival You find full basket of fresh food and drinks. Garden is very nice, swimming pool pretty big. Everything well organised. Only mobile and internet signal is poor but this can be regarded as an advantage .... The house is perfect for stay of 2 people unless it is possible to come with third person but than better to choose not to hot days as 3rd bed is in the part of house without air condition which is available in the main bedroom. Anyway this do not change our opinion than we spend all 3 persons in very hot days with great pleasure. Best regards to owner Rosela and host Barbara.

Stay at the Arceno winery

We couldn‘t recommend Casa Rossella highly enough. From the peaceful location to the amazing outside space this property is the perfect base from which to explore Tuscany. Shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away by car. Rossella and Barbara couldn‘t be more helpful. Thanks again for the beautiful, well stocked welcome basket and the aperitivo. We hope to be back soon.

Wonderful stay at Casa Rosella

Property chosen based on the brilliant reviews. I can only support those that have endorsed Rosella's Tuscan home. Wonderful 3 weeks spent here during the summer of 2020. Peaceful, relaxing time by the pool or in the private garden & hiking in the local area. Equally good trips to some of Italy's outstanding cultural heritage. Thanks Rosella!

Wonderful farmhouse nestled into the Tuscan hills

We spent a week at this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is a portion of a large stone farmhouse situated at the end of a gravel road surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It is one of a small cluster of 2-3 (?) houses. The surrounding 2500 acre Villa d'Arceno district is protected and dotted with approximately 20-30 farmhouses. The nearest one outside our compound was approximately 500 yards away. The apartment is situated over two floors, and each floor has a full bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need to cook meals if you want. The small coop (grocery) in Castelnuovo is less than 10 minutes away and will have what you need. The entrance to the property is surrounded by a tall hedge giving privacy from the neighbors. Inside is a beautiful garden with roses, day lilies and other flowers. Spectacular! The two-foot-thick walls ensured we never heard anything from the neighbors. We loved the total silence of the place. No traffic noise, no neighbor noise. Just the birds. The apartment has a portable air conditioner in the bedroom on the second. The thick walls and shutters ensured the house stayed cool even though the temperatures reached the high 80s during our June stay. We slept with the windows open each night. Barbara was a wonderful hostess and just a text away if we had a question. We were greeted with a nice welcome basket that included a bottle of wine, dry pasta and sauce, fresh fruit and a few other items. It was nice to be able to put together a quick meal after our long day of travel. There are a number of charming little towns nearby that we loved visiting. Each had restaurant choices and some had spectacular views of the Tuscan hills. This property made for a great base for exploring the area, its wineries and hill cities. This was our favorite portion of an extended trip through Italy. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in such a great place. And, thanks to Barbara for being so accommodating and helpful. Sehr nettes Apprtment

Das Apartment ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir waren im November da und haben den Kamin und die Badewanne häufig genutzt! Es war alles sehr sauber und alle benötigten Dinge waren vorhanden (in der Küche und auch sonst). Sehr nette Betreuung. Barbara ist ein toller Ansprechartner und immer sofort zur Stelle.

Hochzeitsreise

Direkt nach unserer Hochzeit haben meine Frau und ich eine ganz wunderbare Hochzeitsreise im Casa Rossella verbracht. Sogar nach nun 3 Monaten reden wir noch immer mit Bewunderung über diese ganz besondere Lokation. Am allerwichtigsten war: Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt in jeder Minute und sogar vor unserer Ankunft. Weil wir schüchterne Leute sind, ist das nicht so einfach, uns dieses Gefühl zu vermitteln. Aber Rossella und besonders ihre Verwalterin Barbara haben nicht nur einfach einen guten Job gemacht, sondern sie haben sich mit Herz und Einfühlungsvermögen gekümmert. Sie bereiteten Dinge vor, waren erreichbar und haben Abstand gehalten, wo immer wir es brauchten - sie haben sich angepasst, ohne dass wir etwas gesagt hätten. Auch der gemeinsam genutzte Pool war gut: Alle anderen Eigentümer respektieren Gäste ebenso und heißen sie willkommen. Wie gesagt, wir sind etwas schüchtern. Wenn wir es nicht gewesen wären, hätten wir mit Sicherheit die Gelegenheit gehabt, Freunde zu gewinnen, nicht nur Bekanntschaften. Zusammengefasst war der Aufenthalt im Casa Rossella unsere schönste Zeit in der Toskana überhaupt - nachdem wir nun mehrere Jahre für den Sommerurlaub nach Italien reisen, besonders oft in die Toskana. Die Anlage mit dem Appartement ist einfach wunderbar: Die Landschaft ist überwältigend. Der Pool hat eine wirklich sinnvolle Größe - wir waren immer in der Lage, mehrere Bahnen hintereinander zu schwimmen. Der Garten ist gepflegt und sieht wunderbar aus, auch wenn er unter der besonderen Hitze im Jahr 2017 gelitten hat. Alles in der Anlage ist in bestimmter Weise exklusiv und würdig, ohne dass dieses Überhand nimmt - wir haben uns so gefühlt, dass wir es auch nutzen durften. Besonders im Appartement selbst haben wir uns so gefühlt, als hätte Rossella dafür gesorgt, dass wir die Erlaubnis haben, diese exklusive Unterkunft zu nutzen. Es ist so persönlich eingerichtet mit konsistentem Stil, dass wir dachten, wir hätten einen Teil von Rossella kennengelernt, ohne dass sie da war. Ich kann nur sagen: Vielen dank für diese Gelegenheit. - Sie war mehr als ihren Preis wert. Wir haben mehr für das Anmieten anderer Anlagen ausgegeben aber nur eine kommt an Rossellas heran! Nochmal: Es ist nicht nur die Anlage. Es ist der Geist, mit dem Rossella und Barbara sich kümmern. Besonders bei Barbara hatten wir den Eindruck, dass die Verwaltung für sie eine Freude ist. Das ist unbezahlbar. Wir wünschen Rossella und Barbara eine Menge liebe neue Gäste.

Charming place to stay in Chianti Region

We are happy to have stayed during a week in the Casa Rossella, which is part of a condominium in the Villa d'Arceno near Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena region). It is located in the middle of a wine domain and you have to drive some km's of gravel roads to reach the property. What you get back is a quiet place to stay amidst the wine ranks and a cosy house which has all amenities you need. The reception by Barbara is warm-hearted with all info you need. What makes the place so special is that you immediately notice that it is not only a rental house, but sometimes inhabited by the owner(s). It is then beautifully decorated and has a warm feeling. You can sit outside in a beautiful private garden and enjoy the warm Tuscan nights, with some mosquitoes...but even for that there is protection offered at arrival. The property also has a large swimming pool with an own parasol and 2 long chairs. Within driving distance, we visited Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and of course the Chianti region (up to Greve in Chianti). If you want to, you can have a wine tasting in the Villa d'Arceno itself, we didn't do that but it seems interesting to do. So as you can read, we had a lovely time at the Casa and can recommend other people to book holidays in this house. You simply won't regret.
