Well run resort. New, clean, roomy condo.

Great location in Kaanapali north of Black Rock. Nice walking paths outside the resort on the beach side. Condo was new and nicely equipped very roomy. Nice clean Resort. Only thing was rolling rocks on the beach that hurt your legs when they hit you, not sure if this is a seasonal or all year round event. 3 Nice sized pools for adults or kids. Plenty of shopping nearby. Plenty of underground parking. KBM managment group easy to work with.

Would recommend KKBM great customer service

The one bedroom condo we rented was very spacious. The appliance were great loved having the washer & dryer. They were all easy to operate. It was great having a restaurant on the property. It was great that beach chairs, umbrella, ice chest & beach towels were included with the condo. Check-in went very smoothly. We had a great time and would recommend KBM Resorts for there great customer service.

Everyone checking in here needs to know this resort is across the street from the sewage treatment plant...not the fragrant Hawaii aroma we were looking for! Yikes!!! Hot water was scarce too...odd to run out of hot water mid shower on mutilple occassions. Lastly the TV didn't work either

Poorly managed condo that could otherwise be great

KBM was incredibly rude and unaccommodating every step of the way and they don’t maintain this condo well. The condo itself has a great layout and could be very nice if KBM managed it properly. First of all, it was not clean (hair in the bathroom, dirty kitchen floor, laundry closet filthy, sofa had stains and dried-on food, one of the two kitchen pendants over the bar was burned out, light switches didn’t work in the bedroom, two other light bulbs were burned out, bed was made very sloppily, none of the clocks were set to the correct time. KBM would not allow us to check in 30 min early and were very rude when we asked. They acted like they were doing us a big favor by renting to us. The instructions they provided for arrival and departure were unnecessarily complicated and confusing. I was honestly amazed by their rudeness and their poor management of a condo that could be beautiful. The unit is very loud inside because of the hallway with kids running down the hall and screaming. Overall I would say Honua Kai is not a good choice unless you are traveling with young children. We moved over to the Mahana next door and it was paradise compared to Honua Kai. I hesitate to give this negative review because the issues were not the fault of the owner but rather KBM but decided it might help the owner to know this.

I loved the resort and cannot wait to return!

We will definitely rent through KBM again! The booking process was smooth and it was truly the best deal out there for a place in Maui! Our flight arrival was late but KBM sent emails and voicemails to explain what we needed to do in a late arrival. They eased my mind that we would have nothing to worry about when we arrived. The condo was clean and a perfect size for the three of us. When we had a last minute request, KBM had someone bring what we needed the next day. I loved the resort and cannot wait to return!

We would definitely book at this resort again using KBM Resorts

From the moment of booking, I must say this was the most pleasant experience my wife and I have had in a long time. All questions we had about the vacation were answered by KBM in the emails/links provided(very thorough!). Arriving very late to Maui, a representative of KBM called us. We met at our accommodations for a tour and to answer all of our questions. The unit was very very nice(even had all the beach equipment we needed for our stay!) and as described on KBM's website. The resort was beautiful- lots of pools, BBQs and sitting areas. We would definitely book at this resort again using KBM. A very enjoyable experience from start to finish!

Wonderful, well equipped condo!

We had a wonderful time at this unit during our honeymoon. The unit was well equipped with chairs and beach accessories and we loved Honua Kai! Our only suggestion is that during longer stays (we were there 8 days) they should include extra shampoo/soaps or guests should plan to bring their own. Besides this, everything about our stay was perfect and I would highly recommend this unit!! It was a plus that it was right across from the stairs, making for an easy in and out when you are ready to go if you are willing to take the stairs rather than elevator.

Great 16 days at Honua Kai

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 16 days and it was very nice. We were a bit apprehensive as their was construction on our floor throughout our stay but it wasn't that much of a problem overall. The condo itself was very clean, modern, comfortable and had everything we needed from a kitchen with all supplies needed to beach towels, boogie boards and cooler. The linens and towels were in excellent condition. The really wasn't an ocean view but we did have mountain views and the terrace was lovely in the mornings and evenings. And, we loved the ceiling fans., The resort was nice as well. It was a bit larger than we normally like, but the grounds were lovely and having Dukes restaurant on site is a plus. The pools were never too crowded ..but could use heating as they were chilly. This is a very..family friendly resort with lots of kids around..so, just fyi in case you are looking for a more adult oriented or quieter resort.. KBM was the management company that we rented from and they were really great, responsive and extremely professional. One of the best management companies I have used for rentals. Kristi was our contact and she was awesome.

Great Condo

We stayed at unit 216 for a week and it was fabulous! The condo was super clean and smelt great, and was fully stocked with any and everything you could want. The lanai was a great place to sit and relax, the construction next door was no issue and looks to be almost complete. Great communication from KBM regarding any questions we had before and even during our stay. The resort itself is beautiful, we enjoyed the pools, and beautiful scenery, and having access to the amazing beach walk was great. The 2 coffee shops/grocery stores in the 2 buildings were awesome to have, really good food and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We treated ourselves to a massage at the spa and it was one of the best I've ever had..highly recommend it!! Thanks for the great vacation, we will be back in 2 years and will be looking to book this same condo!! :) Shawn and Erin-----Summerland B.C

Perfect pools for kids!

Beautiful condo with everything we needed. Construction (known to us before the booking) continues but fairly quiet. The pools were amazing for our little guy.

Wonderful Stay

This was a clean unit that had everything that you needed. My kids enjoyed the boogie board and the kitchen was complete. The hotel grounds was perfect. The pool slide was a bonus and beach access was definitely a plus. I would suggest wearing water shoes since it gets rocky and my daughter got a cut from the corals. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the drier wasn't too efficient. Also, the patio DID not have a sheer curtain (room did) and with construction literally across from you, if you wanted sunlight in the unit, you had no privacy. I'm sure the construction workers could see everything we were doing in the morning. As stated in their overview, if you don't mind construction and no view, then this unit is a great deal. KBM, the rental company that manages it, was amazing. We will use them again and return to this hotel, but next time with a view.

Excellent Choice for Families

I chose this resort after a couple of recommendations from friends who stayed here previously. I was very impressed with the level of communication between the associates and myself from my first e-mail inquiry, during my stay and the days leading up to our departure. We arrived via the free rental car and I was pleasantly surprised when the valet offered to bring our groceries up to our unit in addition to our luggage. The unit was exactly as described both in print and pictures. The area was quiet and the staff was friendly. The three pools at the resort are perfect and safe for families with small children. The beach is just steps away from there. I utilized the BBQ's near the pools several times. I have already recommended this resort to several colleagues and will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable one.

Perfect Maui Condo!

My husband and I stayed here and loved loved loved it!! It was very quiet, private and had all the amenities we needed! Justin with KBM Hawaii was wonderful throughout our vacation and checked us in personally. The condo is very comfortable and the lanai with the nano doors are wonderful. Per KBM's recommendations we loved snorkeling & SUP at Napili Bay and having dinner at Merrimans for Sunset!!. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a very needed Maui getaway! :)

Excellent stay

It's my second stay in this condo and I would definitely recommend this place. Excellent view from the mountains to the ocean. The kitchen has everything you could ask for. The bed was super comfortable with a big bathroom. Everything was super clean and the person who checked us in was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool is fantastic and I loved being at the beach in just a second. In the evening we loved using the BBQs. We will definitely come back to this wonderful place!

Excellent base for Maui Exploration

This was a very comfortable and luxurious rental for our 2 was in Maui. Good snorkeling and beach routes for walks and runs right out front. Furnishings and fixtures top notch. Kitchen well equipped. We were able to prepare most of our meals, saving $$$ over hotels. Easy access to all major tourist destinations. Highly recommended.
