Great Place to Stay!

We loved staying here. Super close to the beach and to food/shops. We would definitely stay here again! Can't wait to come back!

Perfect location

The condo was perfectly situated right on the beach with ocean views from our patio and a 2 minute walk to the sandy shoreline, as well as across the street from a coffee shop, a bodega, shops and restaurants. We snorkeled with sea turtles right there. The condo itself was very quiet and comfortable and equipped nicely.

Great location!

Close the the shops and the beach. Our favourite beach! Lots of turtles and fish to see. The unit itself is pretty run down and could definitely use a refresh. You get what you pay for!

Location can't be beat!

This condo perfectly suited our needs. We were slightly concerned about not having air conditioning, but the suite remained comfortable throughout our stay. There are quirks - like the challenging patio doors and the dishwasher that won't fully open, but it is perfectly comfortable and the central, ocean-front property location is great. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location!

We really did love this location. The size of the condo was perfect and the amenities were fully stocked. The beds and pillows were amazing! Management was very nice and available to us when we needed them. Unfortunately, there was a bug issue when we were there (which may be resolved by now). Other than that, I can't rave enough about the location. You can snorkel with the sea turtles about 50 yards from where you sleep.

We love this spot!

This location can't be beat. Our beach-going family of 6 stayed comfortably in unit #102 for 14 days and we loved every minute! We spent each day on Kam I or II and late afternoons and evenings in the pool and on the unit's private lanai with peekaboo view of the ocean. The unit may be small, but has great storage and lots of seating options. We appreciated the beach chairs a lot and will be back to this unit for years to come. For us, it was perfection!

What a location!

Location was awesome...just walk outside and you're there...pool, beach, yoga on the ocean, etc! Manager on-site Carnie was very down to earth, very kind and helpful. Would be great if they would fix screen doors to move a little easier and lock from the patio (currently have to go around). Not a big deal. So nice to have restaurants and grocery right across the street! We'd definitely stay here again.

Great Location

The location is wonderful, there are shops, restaurants and snorkel rentals just across the street. The beach is very close and feels private, not too crowded. The condo is conveniently located on the ground floor and close to the pool and beach. The kitchen is very small, tight space between the cabinets, refrigerator and sink/ stove. Can't fit more than one person in here. For the cost, I would like to see more dishes and utensils, and of much better quality.

Nice little condo in a great location

We spent 11 days here & overall everything was great. Being steps from the pool & the beach was fantastic! So many beaches, shops & restaurants all within walking distance. The kitchen, although quite small(one person at a time) had everthing we needed and it was nice to have the barbecue available. We also found beach chairs & a small cooler in one closet which came in handy. Beds were comfortable, appliances all in good shape. Multiple fans & the AC units kept everything comfortable. Bathrooms were tiny & tended to smell damp after a few days, but we're not used to the humidity, so maybe that's normal in Maui. We initially had a little trouble hooking up to the internet. We couldn't understand the "troubleshooting sheet" provided, but were successful after we turned off everything at the power strip & restarted it.

70 steps to the beach

70 steps to the shore and to the beach Great snorkeling just off the property where sea turtles frequent. Super convenient (across the street) to beach equipment rentals, killer cinnamon rolls, seafood restaurants, shave ice, acai bowls and shopping. Nicely cared for grounds. Might be the only unit with AC. Exceptional view of Maalaea Bay, Lanai, Kaho'olawe, and Molokini down to Puu Olai, including Pacific sunsets. In March it was not uncommon to sight whales in the distance. I was a bit concerned with the side view of the next property, but it was not distracting at all. The lanai actually offers a nice view of the ocean. After all fees/taxes etc the rental was the same we paid at a full service resort on Napili Beach. Condo rentals are a racket. That said, we'd likely return.

More for retired people

The condo was is good condition ; yes it needs updating ! Everything was in good condition . Description on site was good ;but pictures make it larger than what it really was. I did see 1 cockroach; which is why I gave 4 stars!! My family and I were on vacation and we are adults that very seldom get together so we were TRYING to enjoy vacation the way we do ...... well we were told we were to LOUD ! They have quiet hours and THEY ABIDE by them (VERY THIN WALLS!!!!!!)! I do have to add :we work night shift so our hours of awake time are different than retired people ! This is just an informative review! If I had to rent from them again ; I would but I am going in more informed from this experience !

Great Location

Location was great (right between two amazing beaches, easy parking, and convenient access to major thoroughfares), and the property was as pictured. The addition of A/C in the unit was a key reason we booked this property and it did not disappoint. Internet was pretty slow, but there is good cell service so we mitigated the WiFi by hotspotting our phones to do work. Kitchen has tight spaces if that's a concern, but for a group of young healthy adults it fit our purposes.

Great location

The condo is tiny and a bit outdated but you can’t beat the location for the price. It’s hard to have a bad time vacationing in Maui. We had a fantastic time with our kids swimming on Kam 2 and even saw turtles the last day. There are tons of great shops and restaurants within walking distance too. Sunsets every night right on the lawn out front were fantastic. We even grilled Opah 2 nights on the large clean grills for sunset viewing. Perfection. 👌🏻

A perfect location

We loved our stay in this Oceanfront Condo. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was very well furnished. The walking distance from one of the most beautiful Maui beach makes the location ideal especially for those like us that have a 1-year-old boy!

Kamaole Nalu Unit 102

Two BR & Two Bath was perfect. Location situated between Kam1&2 Perfect as well as proximity to some outstanding eateries . Within walking distance. Screen in the screen door was pushed out but one request and it was repaired. Great! Noise levels died down around 09:30 -10:00 PM but can be obnoxious doing the day due to the drop off zone. I would consider Units 104 /106 for future stays. This seems to be a busy unit and was certainly surface clean but could use a deep cleaning when time allows. But yes I would stay here again, and the location makes up for any small issues listed above. Kind Regards Keith Cochran

Older property on ground level with no views, but great direct access to miles of beaches & parks!

Walk to shops, restaurants & rentals. Property could use some remodel/upgrades & TLC! Management Company responded very quickly to issues! Noisy from street in the second bedroom! Loved the long Beach Walks & great snorkeling! Mahalo!

Happy Family!!!

What a magical time we all had. I have a disabled child and my mother in law in a chair. I was able to get both in and out of the condo with ease. The room was well equipped with kitchen supplies. Very clean. Best part was the bed was comfortable. The staff was AMAZING!!!! The grounds were kept perfectly. I do not have a single complaint!! I will always stay here. The energy was positive. Across the street was shaved ice, yummy food at da kitchen, shops, ABC store. It is a PERFECT location. Thank you to the staff for making it a magical time for all of my family. Room 102 is a great spot! If you have a family member in a wheelchair look no further. Best place EVER!!!!!!

Exactly as described

Location is perfect for families with young kids. You couldn't ask for anything more. The staff at Ali'i are exceptional- very friendly, very helpful, very prompt. It is what it is meaning a little dated, a little basic, and no A/C BUT I would not hesitate to go back, in fact I stayed here as a kid and it was almost exactly the same- I loved it. If you have a young family the beaches are great and close, the pool is perfect, the grounds are immaculate and the layout is ideal. Great value. We will be back for sure.

Best family vacation ever!

I do not have enough wonderful things to say about our time at the Kamaole Nalu. The location of this condo is perfect especially for a family with young children. We have a 4 and 7 year old and being able to just walk right down to the beach made things so much easier, not to mention being on the ground floor. It is also walking distance to restaurants, food trucks, rentals and coffee shops. The condo itself was clean and was the perfect size for a family of four. Alii resorts knows how to take care of their guests and provide a very personal service. Two days into our trip, my daughter walked through the screen on the sliding glass door and the they sent someone promptly to fix it, with no hassle. It was great! Ask about their rental car service, it was is totally worth and the most affordable. We have been to Maui several times and this is the first place that we want to keep coming back to. It truly is a gem!
