Welcome to 44 Trumpet Creeper, a sophisticated 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom Kiawah Island home with a pool that offers the perfect retreat for your next family vacation! Nestled within the exclusive Vanderhorst Plantation at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, this premier rental is an ideal spot to savor every season on the island, surrounded by the unique Lowcountry landscape and minutes from private resort beaches and the Atlantic Ocean.

This stunning home, situated on the corner of Governor’s Drive and Trumpet Creeper, provides an unmatched sense of privacy and seclusion. The main house and guest house feature meticulously designed interiors with plantation shutters, 10 ft ceilings, hardwood flooring, and floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light.

The main house offers an updated kitchen with marble countertops, an eat-in breakfast nook, and wet bar that opens up to the spacious living room and dining area with seating for up to 8 guests. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Kitchen was the best equipped of ANY home we have ever stayed in… including homes sleeping 35! High end appliances… immaculate. Custom furnishings, quality linens, beautiful decor, thoughtful layout. There were 12 of us and we had everything we needed for an incredible getaway. The host is amazing… responds quickly and is so helpful. We had the best time!

I’m sure some would say that updating is needed, but that is just cosmetic.Thank goodness we had the pool heated as no one would have used it otherwise.Needed pool towels, but we just kept the towels washed. By the way, those were the nicest towels ever in a rental!Thanks for sharing your home.

The house and property is beautiful. The house is spacious, very clean and well kept. Our family was there to attend a wedding and the house and guest house was perfect for relaxation and entertaining guests. Great Family Vacation

This was our first trip to Kiawah Island and all of us were so happy with our stay and the Island. The house was wonderful and clean. Perfect for our family. We hope to return to Kiawah in the near future

June family trip

The house is in a gorgeous neighborhood with many trees which provides a peaceful environment. It is also in a very secure area as there are two guarded gates to pass through. The house is laid out very well for everyone with spacious common areas and ensuite bedrooms. The house is very clean and well decorated. We used the separate portion of the house for my daughter, son-in-law and their 6 month old baby. The bedrooms in the main house were used by my husband and other adult daughter. On Kiawah there is biking, golfing, dining, beaching, walking etc. The house also has a pool which we used. Communication with the owner was also prompt and we did not encounter any issues. Overall an excellent vacation in a beautiful house and neighborhood. I would definitely rent again.

Perfect vacation

we, a senior couple and a friend from Switzerland are coming to Kiawah every year since more than 30 years. This house, we have to admit, was the best we ever had. Generous living and bed rooms with most comfortable furniture. We enjoyed also the beach chairs provided by the landlord for free and the claning of the pool twice a week. There are only two minor things which we think should be improved. A handrail at the steps of the pool and a better internet connection, which - specifically in the evening - was rather poor and slow. Nevertheless, a overall perfect vacation.

One of our favorite stays in Kiawah! This house has the perfect set up/house design for family and/or friend vacations - fully equipped, close bike rides to one of the Nature Towers, Night Heron Park, & Sanctuary Hotel, short drive to beach, and the pool was awesome! Fun and Relaxing!

My friends and I stayed here for my (very chill) bachelorette party. It was the PERFECT spot. The home was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. The pool was perfect for hanging out in while we waited for dinner. Getting to Fresh Fields/ the beach was easy. Host was nice, and responsive to my questions. Couldn't have been any easier. Will 100% keep this in mind for future visits.

All Around Great

I appreciated the bathrooms for each room and house space so it felt like group and individual space for 3 families. We took afternoon and early strolls on the beach and saw deer and bobcats! The board games were right up our alley. What a beautiful home and resort.

Girls Weekend

We came for a girls weekend and rented this wonderful house for me and 4 of my best friends. May I just say, the house is STUNNING. We absolutely loved the layout of the house. It has a guest house with an additional two bedrooms, but it is so close to the main house that it just feels like you are a part of the main wing of the house. The heated pool was a staple for us! It was 60 degrees outside and we were still able to swim! You could tell how much detail the cleaning staff put into each cleaning. They left us towel arrangements on each bed and cute little chocolates! Staying in this house felt like a “home away from home” it had such a warm and inviting feeling. Kiawah is such a stunning island, it was our first time coming so we wanted to explore. The gorgeous beach is in walking/biking distance. There was the CUTEST shopping experience about ten minutes away from the house called Freshfields Village. We ate there for lunch several days and shopped, it was wonderful. We finished our trip with dinner at Jasmine Porch at the Sanctuary. I HIGHLY recommend getting dressed up and going to have a fun, candlelit dinner here. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were next level. Overall, we had the best experience/weekend. All of us wish we could stay for another week. We will 100% be back for round two!

Kiawah Triathlon with Family

It is a pleasure to rate this vacation home with five stars! The owner has in no way exaggerated the many attributes and amenities available. The location was easy to find, private and quiet. Entry was convenient. We were welcomed into the colonnaded terrace but the palatial ambiance is balanced throughout this lovely 3,300 ft. home by comfort at every level. The design configuration with two separate accommodations forming a U shape around the pool and patio made this perfect for our family to have total privacy and yet enjoy coming together in the spacious living rooms for more intimacy. The house and pool were exceptionally clean and functioning properly. We look forward to returning visits. Great memories were made! Thank you!

Perfect Kiawah Island Getaway!

We just had the best long weekend getaway! The house is decorated beautifully, has comfy beds, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed! The pool was a HUGE plus and so relaxing when we wanted to spend the day at the house lounging. The location was perfect being just a short bike ride away from the beach and golf courses. Our host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway on Kiawah Island. We can’t wait to return!
