The Space:

Step inside to discover the main floor’s open-plan living spaces, featuring high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. The large windows and doors open to an elevated deck with outdoor seating, ideal for enjoying the breathtaking countryside views. Inside, the natural and warm tones, along with wood finishes, create an inviting atmosphere. The cozy sitting area is perfect for intimate conversations and quality time, while the very modern and fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals.



Also on the main floor, the primary bedroom features a plush king bed and an adjacent full bathroom with a tub and shower combo.



Ascend to the second floor, where a lofted hangout awaits. This versatile space is perfect for quiet contemplation, shared conversations, or a night of friendly games. On either side of the loft, two guest bedrooms offer either a queen bed or two twin beds. A second full bathroom is shared by the two bedrooms on this level.



Head down to the basement to enjoy the very comfortable TV room, complete with a large sofa and TV for movie nights. The bar setup with a mini chiller adds a touch of luxury, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The fourth bedroom, featuring two bunk beds, and a third full bathroom complete this level, making it perfect for accommodating additional guests or family members.

The Neighborhood:

Half Moon Mountain House is located in the heart of the Delaware River Valley just minutes from the hamlet of Barryville. This quaint riverfront town has lots of explore-worthy stores and restaurants. Grab a meal and drink at River's Edge or on Saturday from May-October, explore the Barryville Farmers Market - be sure to grab a cup of coffee from Cup Bearer first. Getting Around:

Half Moon Mountain House is just two hours from New York City, and you'll definitely want a car to get there and around the area. In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.



Other Things to Note:

A/C: There are six mini-split units throughout the home. You’ll find wall-mounted units in each bedroom, as well as additional units in the kitchen, living room (downstairs), and on the second-floor shelf area.
