Camp Akumal is a gated 4-acre family park in the middle of the jungle with the perfect play area, two pools and friendly neighbors. Camp Akumal is so close to all the popular destinations of the Mayan Riviera, yet a million miles away from the crowds. Down a private road carved from the natural jungle, our ranch has flora, fauna, wildlife and (Shhh! Can you hear it?)…peace and quiet!
Since Camp Akumal is family friendly, there are no parties allowed and we have quiet hours after 10:00 PM. Please be respectful.
Until the quiet hours begin you can use the entire property - BBQ area, pools, playhouse.
If you show up with more people than noted in the reservation, we reserve the right to deny your entrance or charge additional fees. If you have guests that will visit you during your stay, but are not spending the night, please just let us know.
Other things to note
Rooms come with fresh bedding, bath towels and beach towels. Your room will be cleaned every 3 days and new towels provided. Bed linens changed once per week. You do not need to fully clean your bungalow upon departure but leaving it tidy is appreciated.
Comprehensive cleaning between reservations.
We also have additional 1 or 2 bedroom bungalows and can make special discounts for groups. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us!
We have 2 cats who roam around and dogs who are in their own private gated area.
This is the Jungle - There may be birds, iguanas, monkeys, bugs and various other animals.

CAMP RULES

Although this Villa can accommodate large families or families traveling together - For your own comfort, we do NOT allow more than 6 Adults during a stay.

1. No smoking inside house or common areas - please go outside on your own patio/yard.
2. Absolutely no illegal drugs allowed on property
3. No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk
4. No unattended children in the pool
5. There is a replacement fee for lost or damaged items
6. Additional guests must be registered; charges may apply
7. Please lock doors & windows when not in the room
8. Treat all other guests with kindness and respect.
9. Smile & Have Fun!

10. Most importantly, please turn off the air-conditioning, fans and lights when not at home. Do not run air-conditioning with windows or doors open. Please conserve energy whenever possible, thank you!

QUIET HOURS
10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
It is not allowed to congregate in groups in common areas, pool deck or patios & terraces during quiet hours. During these hours we also ask that you keep noise and music to a minimum inside your house. Please be respectful to all guests!

CHECK-OUT
It is not expected for you to clean your room upon your departure. However, we do appreciated it being left tidy!

MONTHLY RENTALS
Discounted monthly rentals only receive weekly cleaning with full bed linen and towel change. Hygienic bathroom supplies (TP, shampoo, soap) are not included.
