Spend time making cherished memories at this gorgeous 5-bedroom LAKEFRONT Lodge!

Unwind and relax at this charming newly renovated lakefront cabin retreat with spectacular views of mountains, lake and starry skies. With 5 comfortable bedrooms including 4 queen beds, 2 twin beds(Daybed with trundle), and 1 full bed, this retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends. You'll find all the indoor essentials like WiFi, fully stocked kitchen, screened in porch, two family rooms (on two different levels), Smart TV and a cozy loft to spread out and enjoy different activities at the same time. Outside enjoy a full length deck and outdoor dining table for 8 as well as a gas grill for lakeside grilling. Off the deck you are meer steps to the lake edge where kayaks and paddleboat can be launched. There is also a pontoon boat rental option available. A large level backyard is great for yard games and the waterfront patio and dock are ideal for enjoying the gorgeous scenery by day and can an offer a cozy campfire retreat by night. Lake is ideal for fishing, wading and swimming. It has a very gradual grade to deeper water, no sudden drop offs or big rocks on the bottom. Four single kayaks and one double kayak with oars as well as a paddleboat await your arrival. Explore the serene 80 acre lake in peace as this lake is a non motorboat lake. No gas powered engines allowed. Pontoon boat rental is available with limited availability. Send an inquiry about boat rental prices and availability before your stay.
Year round enjoyment with beautiful fall colors, nearby winter skiing and refreshing spring hiking available.
Also guest will have access to the community center where an indoor heated pool, racquetball courts and game room/arcade await inside and outside boasts a playground, sand volleyball court, basketball court and a tennis and pickle ball court. Also has a large sandy beach area as well as and a Resturant and Bar. All sports equipment for the activities can be picked up at the clubhouse or you can bring your own.

LINENS AND BATH TOWELS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Linens and bath towels can be rented by going to www.poconolinens.com or you are welcome to bring your own. Hand soap is supplied as well as one roll of paper towels. Firewood is available for purchase at nearby gas stations or BYO.
Dollar General and Walmart are within 15 minutes
No Sunday arrivals without approval from the owner.
Pa Fishing license is required for fishing. All fishing is Catch and Release.

The house exceeded my expectations. The listing doesn't do it justice, it’s even better in person - something I’ve never experienced before. The house was spotless and well stocked. It was extremely spacious and fit our party of 10 adults and two toddlers perfectly. If you're traveling with little kids, the room with the trundle is awesome and worked great for us and the two little ones. The only thing to note is that the house can be hard to find if you check in after dark. Which is how one of the people in our party ended up on a neighbor’s deck

The home and property were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and the house was very clean with the exception of the kitchen. Would have given five stars if the trash cabinet and dishes weren’t dirty. Unfortunately they don’t provide dish soap so anything that can’t go in the dishwasher doesn’t get fully clean. That is my only complaint - would highly recommend staying here.

I cannot emphasize what a fantastic rental home this was! The community was lovely and we made sure to use all the amenities! Dinner at the Greek shack was so good we went TWICE! My kids actually kayaked to the rec center and played racquetball and swam and kayaked back!! The access to the lake is unparalleled! We all felt so relaxed! It was just as quiet and peaceful as we hoped! The home was clean and new and thoughtfully appointed- everything we needed was there! The boats were so easy to pop in and out of the lake- I had no idea how much time we would spend on the lake and we spent most of it there! There is a tiny island to kayak to that the kids loved to explore. There are deer everywhere! And chipmunks! We will 100% be back next year- it was 3 families and a new tradition was made! It is worth it to wake up early and watch sun rise over the lake! Wow!!!

Absolutely fantastic accommodation. The lake was gorgeous and the lodge was comfotable and spacious. We had a blast on the water and taking day trips to the surrounding area. Perfect place to stay!

Terrific spot on a pretty manmade lake. Well outfitted. We enjoyed the kayaks and pedal boat, fishing from the dock, and swimming. (A little soft wading in, but the water was really nice.) Plenty of room for 8 adults. Beds were comfortable. Great stay!

Perfect Friends With Kids Long Weekend

I'd start with the bad but really there is none to speak of. Our long getaway with friends and kids (6 adults and 6 children) had a really memorable long weekend. The lakefront cabin was everything we expected and more. The house easily accommodated the size of our group, with ample room for us to spread out and not feel cramped. Our kids esp loved the downstairs den and 3rd floor loft and us parents appreciated that we were close to them without feeling like they were on top of house. We seemed to have an ideal weekend weather wise and spent the vast amount of time outside. The lake, kayaks, peddleboat, fishing and swimming were major hits with children and adults alike. We played various games in the yard and in the evenings enjoyed just sitting lakeside admiring the views and sounds of nature. Most enjoyed was the sense of space without feeling crowded but still maintaining that cozy lakeside cabin feel. None of us wanted to leave and will definitely make it a point to return next summer. I cannot recommed the house or area enough. It is absolutely worth the visit.

Amazing Getaway

Everything was perfect! House was super clean and beautiful. All the amenities you could imagine are stocked in the house. Gale was very responsive and super helpful. Lake was super quiet for the Holiday and that made our trip even more relaxing.

From the neighborhood to the actual property, everything was perfect. This is a beautiful home right on the lake with everything you could want. Gale is excellent to work with and very accommodating. Thank you for being such an exceptional host.

just what we needed!

We wanted a spring getaway with our kids and grandkids and this was the perfect place. A table and breakfast bar that allowed all 15 of us to eat together. To be able to enjoy the waterfront while keeping an eye on a child at nap is such an advantage. Several kayak trips alone and with a grandchild in my lap! Our son in law caught fish, while our grandkids were busy trying to catch salamanders! We anticipated some rainy weather and the indoor pool at the clubhouse provided hours of swimming.The beds were comfortable. The internet was fine. The house manager was attentive. The owner was welcoming. Stay away from this place...we want to make sure its available for us!!!

Great Stay

The property was just as described. The check-in process was seamless and the property was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials plus extras. The large windows overlooking the lake was just gorgeous! Two families with multiple age children had plenty of room and it was a great place to stay for our families to spend some great quality time together. We had a great stay!

Our three kids grew up enjoying this fabulous retreat, the lake and all that it has to offer. We are natives of Lancaster Co and really enjoy the less then two hour drive to our 'little slice of heaven'.We hope you will find yourself here and discover for yourselves why we love it.

The community we are in boasts a 180 acre lake and an intentional wooded landscape making you feel like you are surrounded by nature while still enjoying all the amenities of a large community.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our lakefront lodge offers an uninterrupted view of mountains and lake as well as a nearby island. The lake offers a very gradual descent into deeper water with no drop offs or big rocks. It is ideal for children and adults both. The lake offers many different species of freshwater fish and wildlife. Deer, geese, ducks and our resident swan will likely greet you at close range. PLEASE DO NOT FEED THEM. We don't want them hanging out with us for numerous reasons!
