Perfect for our family

With 11 people in the family this place was ideal! We rented all 4 cottages so each family had their own space but yet we were all still together! Location to beach was excellent, the boardwalk was right across the street!

Great place for a group!

Fantastic location, nice pool and perfect for a big group. Communication from the owner and property manager was great. Furniture and appliances were a bit tired, but in line with the price. Would recommend.

Awesome trip!

The property is wonderful. We had plenty of room and it was nice to have a common area where we could all hang out and then be able to go to separate rooms when we wanted. Perfect to keep grandkids in sight and entertained. Convenient to the beach.

Great Beach Vacation

This property was perfect for our large family. With 4 units and a private pool we had the entire place to ourselves and each family had their own space to retreat to. Day meals were up to each family to do and Supper was a family planned meal with lot of outside grilling 4 picnic tables were great for that meal and evening time relaxing and game playing. It is worth the trip there. Thanks Emil and Laura (property manager).

Family Vacation

I saved these cottages in my favorites years ago. I was finally able to take my entire family and it was well worth it. Being able to get up in the morning and go out to the private pool is amazing!! The access to the beach across the street is also so convenient. This is the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. No rush to get up and out,you can just chill right there the entire time. The only critisizm I have is the beds in #3 could use an upgrade. The other units have memory foam or toppers which made them more comfortable. My guests were bragging on how well they were sleeping and I was wondering if they liked hard beds.... I will definitely use this place again, it was a wonderful experience with my family.

Family vacation

This property is great for large families. My husband and I, plus our three children and grandchildren rented all four cottages. We loved the outside area for cooking, playing cornhole, and enjoying the pool. The ground level cottages and the short walk to the beach was no problem for my husband who has mobility issues. Overall, we had a great time. Sorry that it’s already rented for July 4 week for 2022.

Manns Stay In The Cottages

We had 17 staying for the week. With 4 cottages it was nice at night for each family went to there own place. It made cooking breakfast and dinner a challenge but a lot of fun. We set up a table which I brought with me and cooked outside the cottage for these meals. Was fun keeping the seagulgs from joining us for breakfast. It was a good week for all.

Multi-family vacation

We had 4 families traveling together to Beach Bum cottages. This was a perfect set up for us. We also had an older couple who need ground level accommodations and easy access to the beach. This was the perfect place for that as well. It was well stocked and a clean place. The owner was very responsive and the check in process was easy as well.

Beach Bum Cottages

It is a great place for a large family! The kids loved the swimming pool. It was pet friendly and conveniences to the beach. The only downfall was the area around the picnic tables needs to be repaired and each cottage needs more bath towels and wash clothes. We had to contact the property manager and she got back with us! The owner was great to work with. Looking forward staying at the Beach Bum Cottages again!

St. George Island

Wonderful place, "Beach Bum Cottages"! We took the whole family: brothers, sisters, spouses, nieces, nephews, dad & step mother and 2 grand kids! Plenty of room for all, a great pool/deck area and right across the street from the beach! We had a wonderful family vacation and are looking to do it again soon in the near future.

Family Reunion

We had family from Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. And we had a great time. So glad to find a place that had everything we needed. Separate space for each family and yet we were all together. Really enjoyed the common space and the pool.
