We arrived in the evening on Tuesday and left Sunday morning. At first everything seemed great, someone checked in with us the night we arrived via text and everything seemed great. There were no pillow cases on the pillows and there was a wet load of laundry with all the pillow cases in the washer. I put them in the dryer and in the morning they were still pretty damp. Something was wrong with the dryer so that ended up not being usable our entire stay. We have a toddler and packed light since the washer and dryer was supposed to be an amenity there. We had to fire up the wood stove often in order to try and dry laundry on the stairs railing. My daughter wanted to sleep in the second upstairs bedroom because it had twinkle lights and when I went to put her in bed, there was a pile of dirty, moldy acorns or some kind of nuts that I'm assuming a squirrel brought in from an opened window at some point. I called and left 2 voicemails during normal business hours and no one answered or ever called me back. Finally I received a text and someone would be there the next morning between 8-10am. Later that afternoon I called and reached out again and no answer or call back. The lady that ended up showing up towards the end of the day had no idea what to do other than try to unplug the machine and see if it was clogged in the vent. I showed her the nuts and she took a photo but left them there. She told us that a repair person would be out to look at the dryer. That did not happen.
