The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The place was comfortable, spacious, and up-to-date. It had a large table and enough chairs for the 7 of us at which to sit, which was a priority for us. (We are senior citizens- siblings and spouses.) Many other VRBO postings do not appear to have large table sittings. It was disappointing that there were not enough wash cloths, hand towels, or wine glasses for each of the 7 guests to have one. There were no kitchen dish cloths or kitchen towels at all. There was no laundry detergent. Many of the dishes had to be rewashed before using. The gate in the backyard was on the ground, but one of us figured out how to reset it. My biggest complaint is the poor responsiveness by the rental company, and the only way to contact them is messaging through the VRBO app, which was useless. They do not have a phone number. I inquired prior to our stay how to reach anyone if we had issues. This is their response,"Hello, if there is an any issue please let us know right away and we'll be around to help." We couldn't open the gas valve in order to use the grill, which we were depending on to cook a meal. I reached out and the company was slow to respond and was not helpful. Some responses were illogical and appeared to be AI generated. Bottom line, I would stay again with a large group of people because of the spaciousness. But I would know that I need to supplement needed supplies, and that I'm on my own and will not get any help from the rental company.
