Espectaculares vistas al mar desde esta edad, totalmente equipada, amueblada suite de un dormitorio con su propia entrada privada. Con vistas a la bahía de Semiahmoo 180 grados vista toma en vistas del Monte Baker, Active Pass y todas las islas del Golfo en el medio. Ver el amanecer y el atardecer de su gran patio privado cubierto. Unas escaleras conducen a la playa, paseo marítimo, con restaurantes y tiendas, la famosa Roca Blanca y el muelle. La naturaleza es en su puerta. La propiedad se mete hacia un parque natural forestal 28 acres, que tiene más de 3 millas de senderos para caminar y arroyos durante todo el año. Frecuentemente nos visitan Eagles, pájaros de la canción, pájaros carpinteros y otros habitantes del parque natural. El transporte público a pocos pasos. Con una ubicación céntrica con fácil acceso a Vancouver, el aeropuerto Internacional de Vancouver, terminales B. C Ferry a la isla de Vancouver, Whistler Village y la frontera con Estados Unidos. As I use a walker it was greatly appreciated that they have a ramp to the unit. Place was immaculate and very well stocked. Best hosts ever.

Great views. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Communication with hosts (who live upstairs) was excellent (they even let us know they were having friends over one evening just in case we heard extra noise, which we didn’t). Welcoming snacks were appreciated. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. We would definitely rent here again.

Best VRBO we ever stayed in many years. Everything is exactly as pictured. The unit is very clean and updated. So many great features plus a city stairway right down to the ocean near the bottom of this home. Right behind the home is a beautiful park/forest with 100 foot plus fir trees. Will 100% stay here again.

Lovely Seaside Accommodation

Upon arrival Helga & Graeme were there to greet us and we walked into a gorgeous suite with a fully stocked kitchen filled with all the necessities we needed after a long travelling day. Fresh produce, milk, eggs, etc, etc. were there for us to enjoy. Much thoughtful consideration was put into designing their suite. It is very well laid out, tidy, clean and so very cozy.We spent a lot of time in the suite and on the lovely ocean view deck due to my medical concerns and found it to be a beautiful area both relaxing and comfortable.We hope to have the privilege of staying there again and wish Helga & Graeme all the very best! Many thanks!

Breathtaking Views and Vistas

Our stay at Graeme and Helga's was amazing. The wonderful views of the ocean, the amazing flowerbeds and the gracious charming hosts made for a memorable and luxurious vacation. Everything we could want or need was provided including eggs, milk and bread upon arrival. We felt very welcome and were provided with lots of helpful suggestions of parks to visit in the area. Watching the hummingbirds was a pure delight and the walk along the promenade is so lovely with the smell of the ocean and the great moist air. We will definitely be returning.

Great Stay

Absolutely Incredible

This vacation home set the bar quite high. It truly is a beautiful piece of paradise. I cannot think of one thing that is missing other than me wanting to stay here permanently. The panoramic ocean view and the amazing flower garden took my breath away every day. The living space inside and out is perfect. Everything and more was provided to make my stay unforgettable. The little extras when I arrived was a welcoming surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed the fireplaces, the hummingbirds, all the beautiful flowers and even saw a whale right from the patio. This place exceeded my expectations, I’m already planning a return trip.

A Slice of Heaven

Graeme and Helga are the gracious and very considerate owners of this lovely suite. I can't say enough about how incredibly wonderful this property is. Magnificent Stay!

My wife and I wanted to visit Vancouver, but we didn't want to stay in the city. Our checklist consisted of the following: Ocean view, full kitchen, clean and good walkability. We came upon Graeme and Helga's gorgeous rental with the most dazzling garden! Not only did the rental check all the boxes, Graeme and Helga were very gracious with coffee, eggs and bread for us so we didn't have to go to the grocery store right away. The unit has all the comforts of home, and the view is outstanding. A short walk to the boardwalk will have you dining at trendy eateries. The pier is majestic, and the town is safe and clean. This is a no-brainer! Book today and you won’t be sorry!

Home away from Home

We loved our holiday at Graeme and Helga’s hideaway. It literally was like a home away from home during our 2 week stay. The kitchen was well equipped and they had thoughtfully provided us with milk, cream, coffee, tea, eggs, cereal, butter and bread (other condiments were in the fridge and cupboards). Superb location for walking into White Rock for gelato or a nice meal at the Boat House, or walk along the pier which is the longest in Canada. Our favourite activity was playing scrabble overlooking the beautiful view of the bay in the presence of various wildlife which popped up to say hello such as the black squirrels, hummingbirds and rabbits (plus a cheeky raccoon!) we would definetly visit here again, thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Heaven on earth

Million dollar view and balcony

Beautiful!

Our stay was perfect! Hosts Graeme and Helga provided everything we needed and even some extras that were much appreciated. The views were spectacular, and we enjoyed walking to restaurants just down the street. We also loved visiting the Ruth Johnson park just next door for some hiking. This place has everything you could need for a beautiful visit.

Cozy Retreat

As soon as you wake up and look out the windows the stressors of life are lifted off your shoulders. Morning coffee on the deck was calming and serene. As someone who wakes up at 5am and being able to watch the parasailers, boats going to check on crab traps, paddle boarders and people walking on the boardwalk was a treat. Listening to the hummingbirds everyday was so fun. Definitely going to book holiday #2. Thank you Graeme and Helga.

Best in Canada

Our stay in White Rock BC was one of the best vacations we have had in a long time. The apartment was well appointed with wonderful views of the sound and mountains. The gardens in the spring were exquisite. The large patio area was wonderful for sitting, reading and watching the view. We love trains so the comings and goings of the trains near the promenade were enjoyed by both of us. The area is robust in natural sights. Lots of beaches, trails, bike trails and stair trails kept us busy. Our hosts, Graeme and Helga, were delightful and very helpful. We truly enjoyed this listing.

We have lived in White Rock since 1985 and are local business people. In 2019 Helga, after 42 successful years, retired from the real estate industry. She now spends her time manicuring her garden. Since 1986 Graeme has been involved in the travel industry.

Our home backs onto a 26 acre nature park with over three miles of hiking trails and year round streams. Many different species of birds as well as wild rabbits, racoons and squirrels roam the area and frequently visit our feeders. The view is ever changing.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love to sit and watch the sail boats in the bay or the kite surfers at play. Paddle boards are the latest rage here as well as the kayak school in the evenings. There is always something to see.
