Welcome to the farm! Come experience the beautiful North Idaho countryside at our newly built barndominium retreat located at Sun Up Bay Farms just 20 minutes South of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This barn-styled home with it's open great room design offers a modern and comfortable getaway just five minutes from Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Sun Up Bay boat access. Watercrafts are welcomed as we have plenty of parking available onsite. The beautiful Coeur d'Alene Casino and its Circling Raven Golf Course is a 10 minute drive while Heyburn State Park is 25 minutes and skiing at Silver Mountain is just 45 minutes away. This location is perfect for couples or families interested in a variety of recreational opportunities. We expect that you will sleep very well in our king-sized bed and will equally enjoy the new design of our deluxe queen-sized pull-out couch for additional friends and family. We offer up-to-date wi-fi technology and entertainment with two new televisions and a very well equipped kitchen with new appliances for your convenience. Our goal is to take care of your comfort so you can rest well and rejuvenate in all the good things the natural scenery has to offer!

We had a lovely week-long stay. The barndo is new, spacious, full of country charm, very well stocked and clean. Nice, quiet country setting.

Amazing Stay!

Beautiful property, setting was surreal in the snow! Excellent location, a quick drive from CDA but felt like you were a thousand miles away from any town or city. The hosts were extremely friendly and communicated with ease. What stood out was the host’s attention to detail with everything inside the property, it made the stay beyond amazing!

The BEST stay

This barndominium is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views—truly the best. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or winding down at sunset, the scenery is unbeatable.The space itself is beautifully designed—spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. Every detail has been thought through, from the cozy furnishings to the high-end amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed & pullout couch were incredibly comfortable.The hosts were gracious and welcoming, offering helpful recommendations while giving us complete privacy to enjoy our stay. You can tell they put their heart into creating a special experience for guests.We will definitely book here again!

Cozy Christmas Holiday

This is a delightfully cozy warm accommodation! We loved how the kitchen is so fully supplied with every need met from table ware/utensils to appliances (i.e. hot chocolate/tea/coffee). The loft bedroom is delightfully cozy and a comfortable be, laundry close by and lovely view. The downstairs view in the mornings is amazing across the countryside/fields, quiet, excellent temperature control and parking made it easy to settle in. The 'barndominium' is perfect for a short few nights weekend adventure to an extended stay (weeks) with easy access to a variety of activities (i.e. outdoors -hiking/boating/kayaking or in Cour d'Alene). The host was welcoming and responsive. Lovely property. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It was my first time in Idaho and honestly prior to planning the trip I was fairly confident that Idaho was not a state I would visit. However, I was so incredibly wrong!! If you’re traveling to the Couer d’Alene are and are looking for a place out of the city, look no further! The host, Kim, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating.As two young women staying alone I was understandably a little nervous about staying in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. Upon arriving, my best friend and I both felt at ease knowing that there are neighbors relatively nearby and that there are window coverings for the glass door and windows. The host was kind enough to provide a binder with instructions as well as local contacts in case of an emergency. PS they do have a large pup on site and he/she seems to be head of security and they deserve a raise!! The high ceilings and open floor plan of the home was a manifestation of my Pinterest board. The host’s effort and attention to detail exceeded all expectations. There is the cutest produce stand out front with eggs, veggies, and jam which is definitely worth checking out even if you’re just driving by. The location is phenomenal just a short drive off the main highway and only minutes from the lake. The views of the open fields and mountains are unmatched! If I ever find myself back in Idaho I will 1000% be staying here again!
