Kimi's Cottage: Class & Character- 2 bedroom cottage in Nashville, TN

NEW LISTING- MORE PICS COMING... This vintage modern cottage is only 5.5 miles from downtown and 4.5 from Vandy. Enjoy the open floor plan, wood vaulted ceiling, and covered side porch with seating. Located just 3 blocks from 51st Ave, local restaurants and Nashville hot spots. It does in fact have wi-if. Both the king and queen beds are super comfortable. There is also a queen size aerobed which is self inflating and sits high off of the ground. Two roll away cots are also provided.

About the Property: I renovated this home in 2010 by gutting it to the studs and adding a master suite onto the back. It was a perfect-for-me 1300 sf dollhouse, that's why I call it Kimi's cottage. It's interior features hardwoodd floors throughout, granite counters, gas range, open floor plan, vaulted wood ceiling in Great Room and 9 ft ceilings elsewhere. The master bedroom is spacious and the closet could almost qualify as an extra room! One Of my favorite hang out spots is on the side porch with friends and wine.

Nestled in Nashville, this charming cottage offers a terrific retreat for guests. With 2 cozy bedrooms featuring a king and queen bed, along with 2 bathrooms equipped with all the essentials, this soothing space is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, and more during your stay. A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay.

This was my 5th time visiting nashville and this was my far my favorite house I’ve stayed in. The neighborhood felt so safe, which can be hard to find in Nashville. There are some different restaurants and coffee places you can walk to safely. The house has everything we needed and was so welcoming and cozy. Can’t wait to come back.

Check in was smooth. Upon checking in, discovered that makeup cloths were provided, but no was cloths. Nothing a late night trip to the store didn’t fix, but was unexpected. House itself has a lot of character but has good beds. Did not receive any check out instructions, but we did what we would normally expect. Location of the house is great.

An extremely comfortable property. Very spacious for the two of us but would entirely suite two couples or a couple with children. Nicely furnished with many midcentury modern pieces. Absolutely clean. All utilities and services operated properly. Fully functional kitchen. All sorts of shopping opportunities (food, clothing, and sundries) nearby. Not that far out of downtown Nashville and under 15 minutes by car. However, we took the Charlotte Pike bus into downtown twice for 2 round trip (senior discount), but only 4 round trip for everyone else. Worked great and didn't need to worry about driving home after a day on Broadway. Also spent time in The Nations neighborhood. We had positive experiences at: ML Rose, 51 North Taproom, and The Centennial. We were pleased with our choice of Kimi's Cottage and kind of miss it already.

Lovely house in a very cute neighborhood! Everything about the house was perfect for what we needed and properly matched the description. Very clean and comfortable. The only downside was poor communication with the host when I had messaged her with questions. Other than that overall great stay!

Perfect Place

Our trip was a quick overnight, but this cute little house was the perfect place to rest and relax. Very close to nashville, so we could explore the city and be back without a long drive. It was clean and neat. The host communicated fast and check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay again.

I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could!

Everything about this stay was perfect! The location is great, walkable to a number of restaurants and bars in The Nations. The house was just as described, it was even larger than we expected. So much character with creaky wood floors and historic doors and molding. So clean! The owner was super responsive and made check in and check out a breeze!
