Great little place to stay - quiet and cozy! Back yard fire pit and charcoal grill with lawn chairs. Place was very clean at check in. We will definitely be back!

Great location and the wifi was so helpful! The host provided many essentials that some previous hosts have not such as extra toilet paper and soap. The home was more rustic than I expected but still a great stay! I enjoyed the older home. It fit the area well!

Perfect little house for a perfect little stay! The check in and check out process was super easy. The rooms are small, but the space is used well. The living room is cozy and it worked just great for us. Would stay again!

Thank you for your feedback. Based on your experience, I did go get a brand new mattress for one of the beds and a new mattress topper for the second. I appreciate your polite feedback and hope to continue to improve anything I can for all of our guests.

Property worked out good for our river trip. GPS is not accurate for this address. Be sure to look over their map provided for the place was not off the main road. Got good use out of washer and dryer and appreciate the popcorn and snacks. Thanks again for mentioning the extra air mattress. It came in handy. Also, thanks for the easy checkout..

It was such a cute little hidden gem! So close to everything but tucked away! Loved sitting on the back porch visiting with the owner’s chickens and sweet dogs. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely little house that fit our needs for a few days during a family reunion. Very quick access to a Dollar General, liquor store and gas station. And only a couple quick miles to the Landing.

We really enjoyed our get away here. Our host Megan and her husband are extremely nice people and the weather was perfect. It was everything we absolutely needed and chickens got feed extra by the kids as a thank you Megan for the fresh eggs she brought over! We would definitely recommend this place again and hope to come back!! Thank you Megan

A happy overnight to celebrate Father’s Day and the Current River

Enjoyed early morning coffee on the back porch visiting and watching the chickens. The host was gracious and we felt welcomed. My husband loved the special hat and mug for “Dad. “

Pleasant Stay

Everything went great. Communication was excellent and I had asked about stopping by to put groceries out of our cooler and into refrigerator before check in time. And the cleaning was done so they let us just check in an hour earlier.

Fun Day Trip

The place was cozy. Everything worked. The amenities were plenty. We decided to take a day trip, never been to the area and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay, especially during the busy months you get to avoid the more touristy spots and stay in a very comfortable secluded space.

Anniversary

It was very quaint. They had chickens, so we had fresh eggs. We were supplied chicken feed to feed them. They had bought a gift for a 50th anniversary that I thought was very sweet. It does need some updating.

Great for one night

Cute little two bedroom clean Except for the shower. Wifi was out but afer i contacted host (whom replied in an instant) problem was resolved. We stayed fo 5 days, but the kitchen didnt have much but the bare minimum. Had yo buy salad bowl, cullender cheese grater etc. Only had 1/3 roll tp. And a few paper towles! We had to buy more. The Furniture was inviting to look at but uncomfortable couch and beds! The bed nearest family room was too soft and the bed nearest bathroom was like sleeping on a brick!!! I feel like this may be new and they just havent gather enough kitchen supplies! The air conditioning was great and the tv worked great!

The positives of the property is access was easy in and out for an elderly person, the house was right in town with access to everything the town offered, this use to be my aunt's home so it was fun staying there for that reason alone. Now the not so good things, the floor was gritty, the shower stall had not been cleaned and really needs to be replaced due to age and cleanliness, the toilet seat cover kept breaking and needed to keep fixing it and the toilet is really low to the floor, I would suggest replacing it with a higher one for people who have disabilities, both can openers being provided were broke and had to purchase one myself as well as no spatula to turn eggs with (had to improvise), offered snacks were basically expired, The bed I slept in had long brown hairs in the sheets like it hadn't been cleaned prior to our visit and same hairs found in the shower. The outside of the house had vines growing up the side of the house and the windows really needed to be clean in order to look out and enjoy the scenery. The house itself is good sized and comfortable for two to four people and a great location, but attention to detail on cleaning, appearance of outside needs work. I must say though our host was very polite and helpful in anything we needed. If the place were cleaned and bathroom items replaced I would stay here again.

Perfect for our needs. It's pretty basic and a bit run down in places (especially the bathroom which needs renovating, and shower wasn't the best in terms of heat and spray), but I really can't argue with the excellent value for money. Would probably not have rated it 5 stars due to the bathroom/shower if it weren't for the price, which I can't argue with at all. It was the right property, at the right place, in the right location, with strong AC in the main area directly opposite the main bedroom so you can cool that down too (we like to sleep cold). There was a nice basket left out with snacks and such that was actually extremely useful for us, because we were on a road trip with kids and short on time. Came in super handy when we were exhausted from travel. Really appreciated that touch! Would definitely stay there again if we needed somewhere in this area.
