Condominio Wailea Ekahi con Encanto

Nuestro alquiler de vacaciones en Maui es un condominio amplio y luminoso de una habitación y dos baños en el segundo piso de Ekahi's Upper Village. Tiene capacidad para cuatro huéspedes, con una hermosa vista del jardín tropical con vista a una piscina tranquila y pacífica (Pool # 3). También disfruta de una hermosa vista parcial del océano desde la hermosa terraza y nuestra cocina bien surtida. Los techos abovedados de más de 15 pies en la gran sala de nuestro alquiler en Maui crean una sensación de amplitud que desmiente su tamaño.

Aunque el espacio interior y el lanai son de solo 1090 pies cuadrados, el condominio está diseñado de tal manera que tiene capacidad para más de cuatro personas. También lo encontrará equipado con sillas de playa, toallas, sombrilla, boogie board, muchos videos y DVD, libros, WiFi y todo lo necesario para una estadía encantadora en Maui.

Está a cinco minutos caminando por un cinturón verde hasta la playa de Keawakapu y el océano, ¡no hay caminos que cruzar! We had a wonderful time staying at this amazing place. The place was clean, and everything we needed was readily available, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. Marilee was exceptionally accommodating and always responsive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We truly couldn’t have chosen a better place for our stay. We always stay in the Ekahi village every time we come to Maui — this condo was great! Host was great, had all the beach equipment we needed. Pro tip — if you have a lot to bring to the beach and don’t want walk it down you can load up the car and drive down to pickle ball courts and park your car there for a short 2min walk to the pavilion and beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Great condo in beautiful Wailea

Our family of three really enjoyed our stay. Communications with the host were excellent. Condo was very spacious, with high ceilings and a beautiful view. It is a bit dated but the beds were comfy (included the Murphy bed in the living room) and we really enjoyed the quiet pool just behind the condo, the lanai, the beach gear that’s available (chairs, umbrella, boogie board) and fantastic location. The condo grounds are very beautiful!

A slice of paradise out your window

While the wind didn't show up, the breaching whales sure did. This spot was absolutely a gem as par as location and space. The bed was super comfortable and the house stayed nice and cool and was quite the retreat from the heat outside. The pool and pavallion area was stunning and to be able to walk down to the beach was priceless. We walked many a days to the Kohola Brewing Co and Coffee shop which was about 1 mile away (20 min walk) the shoppes were located a nice 15 mins away. This really is the spot to be able to walk around Wailea. Great spot, just as described. There are several comments on traffic noise because of the location, however we didn't hear anything and slept comfortably till morning. Great little condo at the Ekahi.

Loved the condo!

We had the best time during our week in Maui. The condo was perfect as a launching spot as well as a place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We took daily walks as well as nightly views of the sunset. Thank you for helping to make our week memorable. The visiting geckoes were the best!

Love Ekahi

Pros: Property is great. Awesome beach. Marilee provides a great information packet and is very accommodating. Lanai overlooking pool. Price. Amenities (snorkel gear, boogie boards, umbrella). Now includes a pole and pole holder that I bought and wasn’t packing home so donated. Cons: Near the far corner of village. Quite a walk to beach. Some road noise. Slightly dated. Wake up walk the boardwalk. Eat breakfast and hit the beach!. Excellent snorkeling and swimming.

Great stay - excellent host

We loved our stay at Ekahi! The location couldn't be beat. The complex is quiet with nice pool areas and close by to lots of great dining and shopping options. The pictures of the condo are accurate - it's very comfortable and we loved how everything was there that we needed. The beach was the nicest I have ever seen. Marilee is an excellent host who provides great service and lots of useful information to make the stay memorable. We would not hesitate to return.

Lovely stay in Maui

We had a lovely time in this unit. This is our third stay at Ekahi and the facilities have always been fantastic. The unit we stayed in had many pluses and a few minor negatives. The pluses: The beds were comfortable, even the Murphy bed, which sounds a bit creaky but was fine for 2 adults. The lanai overlooking the pool is great; comfortable chairs, and an amazing view. The high ceilings of the unit help it seem very spacious. The air conditioning and fans work perfectly. We were concerned that being fairly close to the road, it might be a bit noisy, but it was very quiet the entire time. The negatives: The dishwasher works fine, but the door springs are broken so be careful when opening it. The washing machine was leaking. The owner phoned us as we were checking in to tell us this. A repairman came and worked on it, but was unable to fix until 5 days later. We were able to use it but had to constantly change towels to mop up water on the floor. This wasn't the end of the world and these things happen with older machines, but was a minor inconvenience. The unit would benefit from having the trim paint redone. The cabinets & closet doors felt gummy and looked grimy. I feel the unit was as clean as it could get, as it’s difficult to clean old, thick paint. Overall I would say the positives outweighed the negatives and the few negatives were mostly cosmetic. I would stay in the unit again and I'm sure that anyone staying here would have a great time.

Perfect vacation base

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It’s in a great location in Wailea. The beach is a short walk away and was lovely. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The only suggestion I would add is maybe a couple more Tommy bahama beach chairs. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely condo (little bit dated but clean and comfortable. Great views of ocean from Lanai. Everything you need for cooking, beach accessories. Bed was comfortable. I’m me piece feedback would be good to have aromatic with key pad lock vs a real lock box (find those so hard to put back together). Otherwise great stay!

Sun, Warm Water, and Whales

Everything we could possibly need was available at this Vrbo! Beach chairs and Umbrella are always necessary for a. Great beach stay in Hawaii! We saw whales everyday out over the horizon and especially one night during sunset! What a treat! The pavilion access is great for you to bring your own food down to sunset and cook, eat, and drink while the sun goes down! People are very friendly. There are several long term residents staying there, so we are tempted to stay even longer next visit! Thank you, Marilee for making this place available and so comfortable!

Amazing location, beautiful space!

The condo was lovely and Marilee was a wonderfully responsive host. It had everything I needed and it was the best location ever. I could easily walk from Ulua beach down to Wailea and stop for swims along the way. The whales were incredible to see! The property was great and very family friendly. It was also easy to go to Kihei for food and groceries. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The unit is in desperate need of renovation. If you’re over 5’ 8” you’ll be uncomfortable in the shower, bathroom sink counter heights and small toilets. This is on one of the best properties in Wailea so it was somewhat disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at Marilee’s place! Marilee was great with communication leading up to our stay to ensure we had all the info we needed. Check in was easy, kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, basic condiments, etc. and the AC worked very well. The ocean view from the balcony was gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again!!

Everything we expected and more!

I used to stay at Wailea Ekahi when I was a kid and my grandparents owned a condo, so when my partner and I were invited to a wedding at the nearby Grand Wailea I knew I had to stay at Ekahi again. Marilee's place was perfect! She was very proactive with communication about the property prior to my boyfriend and I arriving and even sent us some local events that we might want to check out. She was also very easy to reach when we had a flight delay and wanted to ask about extending our check out time. The local caretaker, Linda, was also very easy to reach. Wailea Ekahi is an older condo complex so if you're looking for something new and modern, this isn't it. However we appreciated the comfortable beds, functional air conditioning, and spacious layout of Marilee's unit. It had everything we needed from cooking supplies to beach umbrellas and coolers to hair dryers. The balcony was a lovely place to eat breakfast and drink my morning coffee and never got too hot! There is conveniently a quiet pool for us grown ups right behind the unit which we enjoyed, though the beach (with excellent snorkeling) and more kid-friendly pool are a 5 min walk away. The walk can feel a bit exhausting coming back at the end of a day in the sun as it is uphill, but definitely manageable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, and not just because of all my childhood memories at Wailea Ekahi. Marilee was an incredible host and really helped us to have the perfect experience on Maui this week!

We have loved Maui and have been coming to Ekahi for over 35 years now. Our children (now in their early 30s) learned to surf, snorkel, and boogie board right at Ekahi with us. We are an active family, so some hike Haleakala crater (the volcano), some paraglide up at Kula, some surf or windsurf all over Maui, and others just soak the rays on our beach.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Tom and I bought our second-story unit in Ekahi after renting for a number of years (and enjoying our parents' unit in the 1980s) -- we love the flowers, plumeria trees, and the beach most of all. It is so sunny in Wailea ~ always beautiful weather and clear waters for snorkeling. Our condo has a gorgeous view of ocean and Kahoolawe island from our own front lanai -- which has the best hammock chair imaginable!! It is a 5 minute walk down the greenbelt to the beach and also pavilion (no roads to cross). We get the breeze and view up where we are!! It is so lovely inside as well, plus a new carpet this past year.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We always see turtles here when we snorkel, and the whales are sometimes right off the beach between November and April. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting on the lanai of our condo, 42E. Sometimes we even see whales from our hammock chair!
