Tumbarse y relajarse en Capitanes Bungalow

Bungalow del capitán es una vivienda unifamiliar ubicada en la apartada isla de Gasparilla poco. La isla está situada en el suroeste de Florida en el Golfo de México, justo al norte de la mundialmente famosa Boca Grande. LGI (Little Gasparilla Island) es alejarse de todo con acceso sólo por barco y no hay carreteras pavimentadas. Moverse por la isla es fácil de caminar en los caminos de arena o de viaje a través de los pinos australianos en un carrito de golf. La fauna es abundante en y alrededor de la isla con tortugas de tierra, águilas, Osprey, tortugas marinas, delfines, manatíes y numerosas especies de peces de agua salada de los salmones incluyendo, sábalo, la trucha, la platija y mucho más. Ya sea sentado en el muelle de tomar el sol o la pesca para su captura premio del día, la lista es interminable con las posibilidades. La playa de arena blanca con el Golfo de México azul celeste espera su silla de playa. Imágenes de la tranquilidad de la playa con muy pocos visitantes. Siete millas de acceso a la playa están a su disposición.

Nuestra casa cuenta con tres dormitorios y dos cuartos de baño con una gran cocina / sala de estar gran sala. La cocina está totalmente equipada para sus necesidades culinarias. El porche es un excelente lugar para leer o simplemente relajarse en la mecedora del porche. Si hamacas son más su estilo de la zona cubierta debajo de la casa es perfecto para usted. Un asador de gas se proporciona para que usted pueda preparar su pesca del día o un delicioso filete.

TV vía satélite está disponible, así como un sistema de juego PlayStation 3. Conecta tu teléfono inteligente en nuestra música y relajarse escuchando su música favorita.

Dos dormitorios en planta alta cuentan con camas de matrimonio con colchones viscoelásticos. Nuestro cuarto de abajo tiene dos camas individuales y otro baño. Si tiene que lavar la ropa, tenemos nuestra propia lavadora y secadora en la planta baja y hay un montón de espacio para almacenar su pesca del día o de hielo extra en nuestra planta baja del refrigerador / congelador.

El gran patio es bastante único de la isla. Hay un montón de espacio para relajarse en el césped para jugar agujero de maíz, croquet o bola boci. Incluso tenemos un pozo de fuego para hogueras nocturnas y bastones creaciones. Nuestra casa se alquila por un mínimo de una semana durante la temporada.

Are you looking for a real Island experience? Look no further!

Greg was a phenomenal host and he was always extremely quick to respond if we needed anything. The property is perfectly centered on Little Gasparilla Island which means you only have a 1min. walk to the beach and a 1min. walk to the docks where you can do plenty of fishing. The location is absolutely perfect to slow down and relax. We certainly enjoyed our vacation and can't wait to stay in Greg's bungalow on LGI again.

Great time

We loved our stay at the Captain's Bungalow. Greg was AWESOME. It was the most relaxing time. The home was clean and had plenty of room. He also had a stocked house! Lots of towels and other essentials as well as beach chairs, fishing gear, paddleboard etc. Greg also met us at the dock with a cart and helped us get our stuff to the house. We couldn't askk for more. We will be back!!

Island Life is the Laid Back Way to Vacation

I loved staying on LGI, my most relaxing trip to Florida ever! The location of the Captain's Bungalow is the perfect distance between the dock on the bayside of the island and a short walk to the beach. If you want to kick back and get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to stay. It was nice to have a screened in porch and grill for cooking out. We were able to relax on the beach all day and sit around and relax in the living room all together in the evening. Plenty of seating and beds for everyone. Beach towels, chairs and even a wagon are provided to haul your stuff the short walk to the beach. If you enjoy looking for shells or sharks teeth, you will love this beach. No crowds, just the occasional friendly neighbor out walking their dog and taking in the beautiful sunsets. I would definitely reccomend a stay on LGI. Thanks to Captain Greg for sharing your piece of paradise with our family!

Great stay at Little Gasparilla Island

Captain’s Bungalow was perfect for our stay on Little Gasparilla Island! The house is nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the screen porch and also spent time on the open deck. The house—just a short walk from the beach—has a large yard that gives the property a feeling of privacy. We definitely recommend this house to others and look forward to returning ourselves.

Great Place

A great place to stay. It is close proximity to beach on one side and boat dock on the other. Nice big yard to relax and have a cookout on. The beds are actually comfortable, something you don’t always find an a vacation rental.

Great getaway for our family without all the commercial hoopla.

We had a great time on the island. We brought our RIB Inflatable with 30 hp outboard and two jetskis. Commute to and from island was quick. Had a great time fishing and exploring. This was good time for family to reconnect. The owner was very nice. Red tide did affect beaches but we made best of it. Highly recommend this rental.

Island Time

We loved the island, the beach, and docks. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable, we all especially loved the porch. Beach was not crowded and the folks we did meet were friendly. Our dog loved it.

Great Laidback Family Beach House

Our 3 generaton family loved this house. It's close enough to the beach to hear the waves from the porch swing. Also to go back and forth to use the bathroom for the kids. The younest generation loved having thier own downstairs apartment, while the adults relaxed in the quiet upstairs. Our dog enjoyed having a big shaded yard. One night we had fun roasting smores in the firepit. Greg is great to work with. Also he provided alot of free bottled drinking water. Which is a big deal when you have to carry everything to the island by water taxi.

we love LGI

We just love this place . Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond for us . This place had everything then some . Way more than a couple with there dog would ever need. NICE house ,very large yard , a HUGE fire pit. The central location 150 steps to the dock and 100 steps to the beach was very quiet and relaxing for us. If you enjoy doing nothing on vacation this is the place to be . If you enjoy kaos you might want to go elsewhere. If you enjoy doing nothing but relaxing, look no further than LGI

Divine one-of-a-kind place to relax and enjoy the sea, sand and sunsets

The Captain's Bungalow was a perfect winter getaway for us and our big dog. Little Gasparilla is a quiet, small island only accessible by boat. Love that! Captain Greg, owner of the Bungalow, graciously transported us from the mainland with our gear and provisions out to the island via his deep-sea fishing boat and got us oriented at the house. His very friendly dog, Miley, made our big pup feel welcome. The Captain's Bungalow is airy, breezy and full of beautiful, whimsical nautical/beach art. Makes you really feel you are on vacation. It was sparkling clean and the decor was casual & tropical, with beautiful tiled floors throughout the house, including a newly tiled floor on the big screened-in porch. The kitchen was spacious with lots of wide counters and nicely supplied with utensils, cookware and dishes. I like to cook and found every gadget/tool I needed. We enjoyed cooking steaks and burgers on the charcoal grill; there is also a gas grill available. The house has two full-sized refrigerators, we found it handy to store our cold drinks and water in the downstairs one. We brought our dinghy with its small outboard, and made a couple of trips across the pretty bay to the mainland for groceries during the week. The dock is only a 2-minute walk from the house. The beach is also about a 2-3 minute walk. The 'roads' are just sandy footpaths on the island, and we took beach chairs and snacks to the beach every late afternoon for happy hour and to watch the sun set into the Gulf of Mexico. We had the beach nearly to ourselves that week after Thanksgiving; just an occasional friendly local or visitor, and a few happy dogs. There were no bugs (maybe they aren't around in December?). The water was bracing that time of year, we did enjoy wading and tried swimming one day, but no snorkeling. Lots of beautiful shells and sharks' teeth along the beach. Our dog -loved- the hours of walking the beach, chasing egrets and pelicans and cooling her belly in the water. We ate all our meals on the screened-in porch and spent hours sitting and reading on the porch swing. The Captain's Bungalow is set among towering trees with sunlight filtering through in long shafts -- with the beach just footsteps away. One night I got up and sat on the porch swing in the dark, with silver moonlight shining down through the trees and only the sound of the waves and an owl hunting. We really had a wonderful time here and would love to do this again!

The Perfect Spot for US

We have been coming to LGI for 8 years. We have stayed in many wonderful rental properties. Captain's Bungalow is by far one of the best. It was well located on the island for dock and beach. It was cozy and warm. Pet friendly too and our pups always come with us. The owners were so thoughtful and accommodating. The outdoor shower is a home run. Our stay was peaceful and laid-back. We loved it. We will certainly stay there in the future.

Hated to Leave!

Just got back from two week stay at the Captain's Bungalow and truly hated to have to leave! The house is situated in such a peaceful, private spot. Aside from beach time, we spent most of our time on the screened in porch either playing games or swinging on the swing. Was the perfect spot to rock our 10 month old to sleep at night! The downstairs bedroom proved to be too detached aka "scary" for our kids to sleep in, so they ended up on the pull out couch every night, which was adequate. Overall we all (me, my husband, my Mom, and four kids!) had a great time!! House has plenty of beach chairs, toys, even a smoker my husband used to make some killer pulled pork! Def recommend the Captain's Bungalow!

Our bungalow visit

My husband and I have a very relaxing week at the bungalow:). Everything needed was provided and the weather was perfect. The only drawback were the MOSQUETOES !! We will remember to bring additional bug spray next year. Would recommend the bungalow to anyone who needs to "get away".

Love Love Love it! Quite get away.

Our stay was amazing - we're a couple that stayed for our 5th anniversary. It was so relaxing being on a island with no cars...some days we had the beach all to ourselves! The bungalow was comfortable, both bedrooms had really nice decor and the living room was comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed to make our meals. Walking along the beach and shelling was one of our favorite activities, along with watching the sunset on the beach or from the deck. I liked reading in the hammock while my husband enjoyed swinging on the porch. We even saw some wildlife - dolphins on the boat ride to the island, turtles on the island, interesting birds on the beach, etc. Highlight recommend this place for a truly relaxing getaway!

Very Serene and relaxing vacation!

This house has everything you will need to have a great vacation. It's a very quiet area the time of the year we are here. The sunsets are spectacular!!! The beach is beautiful and quiet. We walked to Palm Island at the long end of the island (10+ miles round trip) on the beach and only seen about 20-25 people. The owners are very friendly & helpful!! If your looking for a relaxing vacation this is your place!! This was our 2nd year and it was as awesome as the first!!!

Peaceful and quiet place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!!

Highly recommend Little Gasparilla Island and Captain's Bugalow! The description and pictures accurately reflected the property. The house was clean and well maintained. We felt like we were staying in someone's home and not their rental property. The decorations and amenities were perfect. We especially enjoyed the large screened in porch that was surrounded by trees and bushes with a porch swing. We ate dinner there every night and on the day it rained, we hung out on the porch swing listening to all the birds. We also enjoyed all the "extras".....water cooler, extra refrigerator, beach toys, sand cart, beach chairs and household toiletries. The house is walking distance to the beach or the sound and the island is beautiful. We can't wait to come back again!! Thank you!! Forgot to add: when our washer broke down, the owner promptly returned our phone call and within a reasonable amount of time, delivered a new washer.

Serenity!!

This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had!! The house was perfect for us, it had everything we needed. It's clean and very well maintained. The owner's are very friendly & helpful. The island is a very beautiful, peaceful place, fun to explore. You can walk the sandy beaches for miles gathering shells or enjoy the most amazing morning runs! We would highly recommend this property as we have booked it again this year!!
