This cabin was perfect for a girls weekend. There were 8 of us, and we had plenty of room! The cabin is so charming and unique - the photos don't do it justice. It's close to downtown Franklin and Leipers Fork, but just far enough out to feel secluded and enjoy the surrounding nature. We had no complaints and would love to stay here again!

It was awesome! Me and my buddies had an end of the year trip but stayed closed to home and our families in Nashville, grilled out watched football and hung out on the porch all evening. It was a blast and so many bedrooms and bathrooms. Really enjoyed the quiet area and it was just 30-35 mins outside of Nashville.

Would have appreciated more clarity regarding layout of property. Unaware that there was no bedroom on main floor and climbing stairs was necessary to access ALL 4 bedrooms. We are an older age group. Not enough supplies provided for a group of 6 people for 1 week.No one responded to ANY of my emails/texts. I had to relunctantly call the "emergency only" number for assistance. Tim was cordial and responsive.The property owner or manager did not provide "personalized" service as I have enjoyed in other VRBO experiences.Having said that, we enjoyed the facility and our stay and recommend it to others.RBH

Franklin tournament

Remote beautiful area feeling couldn’t see neighbors homes for trees . Loved the area didn’t get to spend as much time in cabin as we would have liked. Only down side was hot water not enough for all nine of us to get showers in morning then head out to grandson’s basketball tournament.

Perfect Tennessee Serenity!

Our 3-generation group of 6 people (from 75 years old to 20 years old) absolutely loved our long weekend at the Tanglewood Cabin!! You couldn't find a more comfortable, peaceful getaway deep in the woods with plenty of space to gather and enjoy a meal, play a game, or just relax and chat. LOCATION: The cabin is on a secluded road away from the noise of any traffic in the beautiful hills of Tennessee. You are within a 5 minute drive of groceries, pizza, pub and some other newly-built food choices in an upscale neighborhood. We visited historic downtown Franklin (15 minutes) for shopping and dining. And we traveled into Nashville (Lane Auto Museum-35 minutes, Opryland-40 minutes, Broadway-40 minutes) to see some of the sights before returning to our serenity. AMENITIES: The Tanglewood cabin highlights for us were a large living room where we could easily sit and relax, a game room where we enjoyed playing cards, a well-equipped kitchen that we used to cook breakfast each day, 4 large bedrooms (1 down, 3 up) each with their own comfortable large bed, updated bathrooms with several walk-in showers, a large deck overlooking a wooded area perfect for enjoying nice evenings or reading a book, LOTS of little antique decorations that just added that special character to the cabin, and enough parking to easily fit our three vehicles (and probably a couple more had we needed to).We loved our stay and found Tanglewood a perfect retreat to escape the busy daily life and recharge!
