A truly lovely cabin and special place. Charming and clean architecture, exceptionally stocked kitchen, and lovely landscaping and path to the brook. Surrounded by trees but also open to the sky given the gently cleared area around the cabin. Really kind hosts and thoughtful all around!

Stayed at Nook by the Brook with my wife and teenage daughter as a base for mountain bike races at W Scott Kerr park. Perfect location (quiet, beautiful site in the woods, but only 10 minutes drive to the lake). The house itself is beautiful, lovely mid-century modern decor, extremely clever and thoughtful use of space, well-provisioned kitchen. Excellent communication with Ed. Highly recommended for couples, 2 couples, couple with older child.

Beautiful and immaculate home, beautiful wooded setting by the creek! If you want a private peaceful place to stay this is it. They have gone the extra mile and thought of everything. Many amenities including a turntable with records and movies to watch. Patio with fire pit, tables outside to eat at. Easy instructions The only thing wrong was we had to leave! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Lovely hideaway

The views are stunning on the drive up. I loved the house. Every detail was considered and put together with taste and comfort. I enjoyed my stay very much !! I would highly recommend.

Peaceful, Comfortable, Relaxing, Perfect

I could not recommend this property more. Love the privacy and outside area. Surrounded by trees and nature, it is so relaxing and a great place to get away. The property is also one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed at and very comfortable. The communication with the owners was easy and pleasant.

Christmas Vacation

We loved staying at the Nook by the Brook. It was perfect for our family of 4. They had everything we needed, coffee, toilet paper, trash bags, and so much more. This was so nice when driving not to have to pack so much. It was a perfect place close to our family to visit for Christmas. We will definitely rent there again.

Love Nook

We had the most wonderful stay at the Nook by the Brook! We were in town for a wedding and needed a place for just one night. Most of the hotels in town were booked due to hurricane Helene. We were thrilled to find this little gem and will definitely stay again when we come back to the area! Very secluded and wonderful for a little romantic getaway!
