Grand Canal View Beach Retreat in St. Augustine
Welcome to the Grand Canal View Beach Retreat! This waterfront/canal home with a separate mother-in-law suite is in the heart of St. Augustine Beach. Enjoy your own wrap-around deck with stunning views of the canal leading to the Intercoastal. You can fish right from your backyard or take a 10-minute stroll to a beach walkover and enjoy all that Crescent Beach has to offer.
We respect your privacy and want to ensure you have a peaceful and enjoyable stay. I am available if you need anything or have any questions, but I also understand if you`d prefer to enjoy the space on your own. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance—otherwise, I’ll give you the space to fully relax and enjoy your stay.
You`ll be staying in someone`s home, so please treat it with care and respect.
No parties or events
No smoking / No Vaping
Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It`s important to let the cleaners know. Up to 1 dog is allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50 lbs. and no aggressive breeds.
Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house. Additionally don`t forget to pick up after your dog in the yard, during and at the end of your stay, or you will be charged a $100 fee.
Grill: This property has a charcoal grill. You will need to bring all items required for grilling if you would like to use it. This includes charcoal, lighter fluid, and all grill tools. The cleaning company does not clean out the grill, so please dispose of any ashes and food scraps before and after grilling.
1) Tenants must be 25 years of age to book.
2) Absolutely NO PARTIES AT THIS PROPERTY! If the neighbors call because there is a loud party going on you will be evicted immediately! Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 9 am. Any noise complaints from neighbors during quiet hours will result in a $200 fine per incident and possible eviction if the noise doesn’t cease. No amplified music is allowed outdoors at any time.
3) The number of guests in the house cannot exceed the number registered at booking without prior authorization. This number includes renters and guests or visitors of the renters.
4) Guests must have a working phone number. Please message us within two hours of checking in to report any issues. If the guest is unhappy about anything, management has the right to enter the property to correct the situation during your stay.
5) Locals must provide a driver`s license in advance. Guests who are local to the area (within a 50 mile radius) must have pre-approval before booking. No self check-in allowed for local renters.
6) Absolutely no smoking, marijuana, or vaping allowed. Any evidence of smoking in or around the unit (inside cigarette/marijuana odor or cigarette/marijuana butts anywhere on the property) will result in an additional $250 cleaning charge for additional cleaning and use of ozone machines.
7) Do not move the furniture around (in or out) of the house. Furniture out of place will result in a $100 charge. The cleaning crew does not move furniture so a special trip will need to be made to return the furniture to its original location, thus the charge.
8) If your group does not check-out on time and keeps possession of the property for beyond one hour past check-out, you will have to pay the base rate for the property and still vacate.
9) Our properties have service providers such as landscapers that visit the property various times per week as weather allows. Please understand that we are unable to alter the days or times of day that they make their visits.
10) Guests who rent for 30 days or longer will be responsible for a utility fee of $250 for every 30 day period.
11) Items left at the house after check-out can be shipped back for a fee of $25 plus the cost of shipping.
12) Due to the humidity in Florida the air conditioning cannot be lowered below 71 degrees. This will create condensation in the ducts. You have access to adjust the temperature within a preset range.
13) No refunds will be issued by the host for issues regarding utilities, cable (where available), and internet (outages, etc.) or weather/acts of God, which are out of our control. If there is an outage, please let us know and we will contact the proper company to fix it.
14) Remember to buy garbage bags, paper towels, and toilet paper as the cleaning company supplies you with a limited amount to get you started.
15) Guests who cause toilet obstruction will be subject to a $150 fee. Please flush toilet paper only and throw other objects into the trash can including: wet wipes, make-up wipes, cotton balls, paper towels, sanitary products, diapers, etc.
16) We always strive for a 5-star stay! That being said, sometimes an issue can arise that needs to be resolved during your stay. If you report an issue at the property that we need to resolve, you are giving us permission to enter the property when you are not present to resolve that issue.
17) We don`t offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.
18) Check in is at 4pm. If you arrive before 4pm without prior permission (and payment of $100 early check-in fee), you will be charged this fee.
