Panoramic Lake Erie Views | Deck and Fire Pit | Near Cedar Point

This house sits right on the Lake Erie shoreline in Huron, and it makes no secret of it. The living room, the dining table, and the master bedroom all look out at the water. The deck runs along the back of the house, and the fire pit sits at the edge of the yard with nothing between you and the lake.



Mornings start with sunrise over the water from the deck. Evenings end around the fire pit watching the boats come in. Most guests end up in the recliners by the big windows. A recent guest spotted a bald eagle in a tree nearby.



THE HOUSE

Three bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Two full baths and a half bath. Sleeps six. Open living area with big lake view windows, deep couches, and a flat screen TV with streaming. A kitchen stocked for real cooking, with no dishwasher but plenty of room to wash and dry. Washer and dryer. Fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace.



FALL AND WINTER

The off season is quiet in the best way. The crowds are gone, the lake turns gray and moody, and the recliners by the big windows are the best seat in the house. Bring a laptop and stay a week.

Nickel Plate Beach 5 minutes. Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve 10. Kalahari 12. Great Wolf Lodge 13. Cedar Point Sports Center 15. Cedar Point 20. Sandusky and the Lake Erie Islands ferries 20. Huron's pier, shops, and waterfront restaurants are a few minutes away.



GOOD TO KNOW

There is no direct access into Lake Erie from the property. For swimming and kayaking, Nickel Plate Beach is five minutes away. The living room fireplace is decorative and not in use. Self check in with a keypad. Two driveway parking spaces, no garage. No pets. No smoking or vaping. No parties or events. Quiet hours 10 PM to 8 AM.
