Casa Brisa at Las Brisas

Casa Brisa is in the private townhome compound La Brisas, a half mile from the Railyard/Guadalupe district in the South Capitol neighborhood. As you enter the sweet, private adobe-walled patio, there is a table and four chairs that is a perfect shady spot for a warm afternoon or lovely outdoor dinner. The townhome is constructed in adobe with lovely accents including a cozy wood-burning kiva fireplace for those cool northern New Mexico nights, Saltillo tile and warm wood. The townhome is sunny and bright and is furnished with vintage traditional hanging textiles and select antique pieces, such as a writing desk and beautiful sideboard in the upstairs loft. The comfy living room has a sofa with ottoman, a chair and a flatscreen TV.
The darling kitchen is fully appointed with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay, including stainless gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator, Keurig Coffee maker, drip coffee pot, toaster, stackable washer/dryer and iron with ironing board. The dining table next to the kitchen seats six and is perfect for a dinner at home or an evening of games.
The downstairs bedroom has a single daybed with a trundle bed beneath, and a flat screen TV. It has an ensuite bathroom appointed with traditional New Mexican tile. The bedroom has a beautiful private patio with a seating area for two, surrounded by summer-blooming plants and evergreens.
Upstairs, the King bedroom is in the Santa Fe style with vigas. It includes a walk-in closet, private rooftop balcony and ensuite double bathroom. There is a loft off the bedroom with an office/writing area for remote work. The hickory floors provide a warm and cozy feel to the upstairs.
There is dedicated parking for one car in front of the townhome. The location is very walkable, with a lovely restaurant and brewery located within a block. Whole Foods Market and the Santa Fe Plaza are less than a mile away, and the Railyard is just a half mile. There is so much to see in the area and the compound is a quiet respite to come home to! No smoking, please and no pets.
