A mid-19th c. historic, fully renovated farmhouse perfect for last minute overnight stays, gatherings with family & friends or just a quiet getaway. The Anderson Farmhouse is located on Everlong Farm, a family owned working hobby farm. The house is in a rural area outside of downtown. We are proud of our farm preservation efforts and want to share it with others. Located in South Knoxville within the Urban Wilderness the farmhouse has historic character with modern amenities. The house has an open floor plan with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen that opens into a family living room. Off to the side is a laundry area with washer and dryer. The house comfortably sleeps 8 with 3 bedrooms: a king, queen and double twins each with trundle-style pull out mattresses. The master room has a private bathroom with an additional guest full bathroom. The bathrooms are stocked with Tea Tree & Rosemary shampoo & conditioner, Duke Cannon soap and complimentary toiletries are available for forgotten essentials. It boasts a custom tiled walk-in shower, vintage soaking tub and toilet with bidet. There is a dining area that seats 12, the living room has a 40" smart TV along with fun vintage family style games and other old school toys. Upstairs is a landing area with a view of the property and lots of sunshine. The landing area also has 2 workspaces stocked with basic office supplies. Off of this sitting area are the 2 additional bedrooms. Outside there are lovely rolling hay fields, very old trees and two sitting porches. There is a fire side gathering area with benches for sitting and a view of the old cantilevered barn. There are tree swings, hiking/biking trails off the property and clear night skies. There is an abundance of wildlife to watch and songbirds to hear sing. This rural homestead is within close proximity of downtown Knoxville, UT, Neyland and Covenant stadiums, the historic TN and Bijou theaters and much more! It is located within the unique Urban Wilderness with biking/hiking trails off the property, road cycling, the TN and French Broad rivers nearby, local shopping, 2 swimming quarries (Mead & Augusta), restaurants, fast food, nail salons and much more!
