Oak Leaf es una casa de cinco habitaciones, dos baños y medio con un garaje y un sótano con dos mesas de ping pong y una mesa de futbolín. El primer piso cuenta con un dormitorio / baño principal, un gran salón con chimenea, cocina totalmente equipada, amplia terraza acristalada con vista al lago, un pequeño dormitorio y un baño y medio. El segundo piso incluye tres dormitorios, baño completo y sala de estar con balcón frente al lago. El patio cuenta con una fachada de 100 'Elk Lake, parrilla de gas, mesa de picnic, sillas de jardín y terraza / muelle privado. Cottage está equipado con calefacción, aire acondicionado, lavadora / secadora, WiFi y TV / VCR. Se proporcionan ropa de cama, blankest y almohadas. Always an amazing time at Wandawood!

I've lost count now, I think this was our 5 visit because it's an superior experience to most of the other places we've stayed at. We'll be back!

Another amazing trip to Wandawood!

This was our 4th visit to the Oak Leaf/Wandawood Resort and as always we had an amazing time. So relaxing to be on the lake but to also be 20 mins from TC to experience that. Kamala & Steve are excellent hosts and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon!

A very nice place

This vacation home was wonderful. Very clean. Plenty of room. Kitchen and living areas are very spacious and up to date. Bedrooms worked out great for us. Basement Ping Pong Tables were great.

Family Get Together

This was our family’s second time staying at this beautiful lake house and we hope to stay there again. From a sentimental perspective it is just a beautiful property in a beautiful setting where great family memories can be created and shared. From a functional perspective it is a property with plenty of room for a large group and has every amenity that you will need. It is impeccable in cleanliness and organization, and the kitchen can not be beat. Kamala runs a great operation of Wandawood , which has other beautiful properties as well. She is very approachable and accommodating. It doesn’t get any better! I heartily recommend Oak Leaf House or any other Wandawood property. Thank You.

Fantastic home on Elk Lake

We had the extended family in for a long weekend of wine and distillery tours in and around Elk Rapids and Traverse City. This house nestles right up to Elk Lake in the back yard with a spot for camp fires and stairs down to the dock. The home was in great condition and had wonderful views from nearly every room. Two ping pong tables in the basement got a ton of playing time and one of the reasons we picked this place. If you forced me to say something negative, I'd say the furnace was a little squeaky and I'm not sure the dishwasher did the best job cleaning. Otherwise, we had a great time, the house and location were fantastic, and we'd recommend this property for anyone who needs room for a large gathering. Don't forget to visit nearby Elk Rapids, which is a nice, quiet, less traffic and smaller alternative to Traverse City. Check out the Music House Museum just down the road and catch a silent movie with organ accompaniment, you won't be disappointed.

AMAZING home Elk Lake

Kamala's place is SO beautiful!!! Spacious 5 bedroom home with an open floor plan, great for family/friend gatherings, AND enough private areas if you want to get away from the crowd. Situated directly on beautiful Elk Lake (way better than Torch Lake!), with your own private dock and sitting area overlooking the lake. We've been vacationing at Wandawood Resort for over 50 years, and our stay at Oak Leaf was one of the most memorable ever.

Couldn't have been better!

What a wonderful time our family had at Oak Leaf! In for a wedding, the family gathered in this spacious and beautiful place and had so much fun they are planning a return trip as soon as possible. We were so very lucky that the weather warmed up enough for us to enjoy the outside as well as inside. This house is well-appointed, clean and near a variety of water activities. For most of us, the view was spectacular enough! Kamala is a great host. You cannot go wrong with Oak Leaf!

Perfect

There was 7 of us that traveled up to Traverse City for a work conference and this house was perfect! Much better than staying in a hotel. We are already looking for another conference to attend in the fall so we can go back when the weather is a little better (they had just gotten 10 inches of snow).

Perfect winter getaway:)

Friends and family all had room and comfort at the Oak Leaf. Everything was well kept, clean, and cozy. Ample space for kids to play in the basement and outside on the frozen Elk Lake. Common area with beautiful fireplace was perfect for meals and relaxing together. Highly recommended, plan to return:)

💜💜💜 I loved the Oak Leaf!!!!

I needed a quiet, relaxing getaway and Kamala & Steve’s place did not disappoint. The house is beautiful and cozy, and I enjoyed the amazing food in the area like Pearl’s in Elk Rapids and Mama Lu’s in TC. I’m already planning my next getaway to the Oak Leaf. Thanks so much K & S!!!!

Wonderful cabin! Cozy, relaxing, and beautiful view.

This cabin was gorgeous and absolutely wonderful to stay in. It had everything we needed for cooking and our stay, and the view was incredible. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Great home!

Perfect. Everything we needed and more. Beautiful home, property, lake and surrounding area. The pictures don't do this home justice. It's amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer than a weekend. The property owners were so nice and helpful. We brought our boat, moored it on the lake overnight, had nothing but fun! Fishing was great, even at the Elk Rapids Dam. Restaurants everywhere, but we were so happy at the house, we ate in. The sunsets, the sunrises, the view - spectacular. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful Relaxing home, even in the middle of winter!

My husband and I rented Oak Leaf from Dec 26 to Jan 2. We had various friends and family up throughout the week. The house is beautiful, huge, modern and has an incredible view. Kitchen is to die for with above and beyond what we have found in other rentals. Being an avid cook, this was essential. The only thing lacking were good knives but I always bring my own so this wasn't an issue. All of the rooms are wonderful with 3 of them have lake views. We had a great time hanging out playing cards and board games in the sunroom; ping-pong tournements in the basement; hikes on the resort property and the land across the street. Close to TC for a trip to The Cheese Lady and Brewery Terra Firma. Pearl's (Cajun) is less than 2 miles away and highley recommended. The water pressure is great and the jet tub was amazing. The house was very clean. We used the fireplace everyday. Karen was very nice and made herself available if we needed anything. Everyone said how hard it was to leave and we are already considered renting again next winter and possily one of the cottages during warmer weather. I highly recommend staying for a winter getaway.
