Winter Fun! Hot Tub & GameRoom near Shanty Creek

We’re excited to share that we’re currently enhancing the home with thoughtful updates designed to elevate your stay. Renovations include an expanded primary bathroom with a new walk-in shower and vanity, a refreshed hall bath, and updated flooring in the sunroom and kitchen. These improvements are being completed with care to minimize any disruption, and we can’t wait for you to enjoy the finished spaces!

The Birch Lake Retreat open layout is bright, spacious, and built for togetherness. This spacious home sleeps up to 16 in 5 bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen features newer appliances, a coffee bar with Keurig, French press & drip pot, plus bone china dinnerware and kids’ tableware. The farmhouse table seats 8 comfortably. A round dining table in the living room adds space for 4, and the island adds extra space for 2 more.

The living room invites you to curl up on the sectional for a movie on the 65" Smart TV or dive into a board game from the collection or lean back in the new swivel reclining chairs.

Five bedrooms feature brand-new beds, 100% cotton linens, and Smart TVs in three rooms. Two include desks for remote workdays between adventures.

Sleeping arrangements:

Bedroom 1: King + twin daybed w/trundle, desk, Smart TV, pack-n-play

Bedroom 2: Queen

Bedroom 3: King + Smart TV

Bedroom 4: Full/twin bunk + twin daybed + toys & books

Bedroom 5 (Garage loft): This bedroom is above the detached garage and has a queen bed + a twin daybed with trundle + Smart TV (there is no bathroom in the garage)

Sun Porch: The porch (not heated) offers 2 twin daybeds. This is appropriate for May-October only.

Living Room: There are two swivel chairs in the living room which pull out into twin beds.

Two full baths make mornings easy for groups or large families.

Game Room in Detached Garage

Your private game lounge is the ultimate winter bonus!
Enjoy ping pong, foosball, Pac-Man arcade, giant Connect 4, and cozy seating for everyone. Perfect for après-ski evenings, family tournaments, or rainy-day fun—this feature sets Birch Lake Retreat apart year-round.

Outdoor living

Relax in the tree-framed backyard for morning coffee or evening bonfires.
Enjoy a firepit with provided wood, two large patio tables, gas grill, and a swinging chair for peaceful lounging. The yard offers privacy even with nearby homes and plenty of space for yard games. Pets are welcome (not fully fenced).
