Perfect for a couple getaway. Overlooks pool and could get a little noisy at times. Manager was accessible and helpful. We saw a bear the and a hot air balloon from the balcony! Fun!

The host was very responsive and great to work with. No complaints there. Additionally, the location is great. About a 10 minute walk (uphill) to the ski area base. The issue is the place itself. First off, it is very tiny. Very little storage to put anything. One small nightstand was the only place to unpack anything. The bedding and pillows have to be decades old and were terrible. The heat did not work in the bathroom. The hot water was iffy (as advertised). Sometimes it would take 15 minutes to get hot and then sometimes it just never would. The place is so old that the windows and door need to be weather stripped and insulated. There would be snowflakes on the ground of the front door in the mornings. Please upgrade your dang cooking pans. The pans were so used and crappy it was impossible to cook anything. I even went to the store and bought my own it was so bad. Overall, fixable issues. But you can tell everything has been cheaped and the owner will not make the necessary investment in upkeep.

We’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of the unit did not meet your expectations, and we want to address your concerns directly:
Kitchenware: Since your stay, we have upgraded several sheet pans and replaced multiple pots and pans to improve the cooking experience for future guests.
Heating: We have inspected the bathroom baseboard heater and confirmed that it is functioning properly. We’re always happy to walk guests through its use if needed.
Weather Stripping: We are actively looking into adding new weather stripping and insulation to improve comfort during winter conditions.
Bedding: All bedding was purchased new this year and is white to ensure high cleaning standards, so we were surprised to hear it felt old. We will continue to review this closely.
Hot Water: As noted in the listing, the building’s hot water system can be inconsistent, especially during peak winter usage. We do our best to be transparent about this in advance.
While this is a cozy, older mountain property, we are continuously investing in improvements and maintenance to enhance guest comfort. Your feedback helps guide those upgrades, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share it.

Thank you for your feedback. While we appreciate you noting that the unit was clean and well-stocked, several points in this review are inaccurate and may be misleading to future guests.
First, the pillows in the unit are regularly replaced and are standard hotel-quality pillows. We have not received any other complaints regarding their condition.
Regarding noise, the building is a multi-level condominium complex, which is clearly disclosed in the listing. While some level of normal footstep noise can occur in any shared building, we have never had ongoing issues with excessive noise.
The unit has full window coverings that adequately cover the windows. Like many mountain properties, some natural morning light may still come through around the edges, but the windows are properly covered.
Luggage stands are not advertised as an amenity in the listing, so their absence should not have come as a surprise.
The entry door is always set to automatically lock when shut. The only way to change that is if you manually turn the lock switch from the inside of the unit.
The Tennis Center project was a temporary, city-run improvement project that was outside of our control and has since been completed.
Finally, our checkout requests are clearly communicated prior to arrival. We kindly ask guests to start a load of towels and take out the trash to prevent lingering odors. We have this helps clarify for future guests.
