Lake Life is the BEST Life! Formally "Livin The Dream"

It's a new name, but it's the same great property! This property was formerly called "Livin The Dream" Lake Gaston.
The home features two living spaces, an open-concept kitchen/dining area, decks/balconies overlooking the sandy beach and main lake waters, a bedroom with a king-size bed and full bath on the main level, two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the second floor, and a walkout terrace level with a full bath and laundry.
Guests can use our three kayaks and two paddle boards for no additional cost.
The basement is also full of fun! There are lots of games, including trivia, foosball, Golden Tee, ping-pong, a poker table, and corn hole.
Several floats, some sand toys for kids, two beach chairs, three folding outdoor chairs, and fishing poles are also included for use.
We are steps away from the pickleball/tennis and basketball court. All the equipment needed to play is included in your stay.
Nights sitting by a fire out on the back porch watching the sunset are the best!

The location is central to shopping/dining/golfing/watersports.
Summers on the lake are fun; however, this home offers fun year-round!

We are a dog-friendly home!
There is a Pet Fee of $25/day

We had a wonderful stay at this property for a quick long weekend getaway. The home is beautifully maintained and offers plenty of activities. Family Vacation

Great spot for our vacation. The beach area (which was super close to the house) was perfect for the kids. Maria was very responsive, the house had everything we needed and the views were beautiful! Lovely neighborhood as well. Close to a few spots (bakery, coffee shop, grocery store, mini golf) which was helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

The house was warm and welcoming and felt like a second home. They allowed use of chairs and floats and other items which was a great bonus. The unit and beach/dock access was great as well. We are a return customer. We have stayed here before so we knew from the start that this place works well for us. My new favorite spot

From the time we booked through the time we checked out, we had an amazing experience. Maria was super responsive and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The home was spacious, clean, and well-stocked. It was so nice to have the basic supplies there when we arrived (paper products, soap, trash bags, even coffee k-cups). The views from the two decks and patio are gorgeous - especially the sunset over the water. Even though it was January and chilly outside we were able to sit outside and enjoy the patio using the gas fire pit. The bedrooms are spacious and we appreciate that each has a private bathroom. The common space is well furnished with plenty of room. They thought of everything....games, books, a poker table, a dry bar, an extra full-size refrigerator, foosball, ping pong table, cornhole, paddle boards, etc.We enjoyed taking walks along the waterfront and trails within the community. The grocery store and restaurants are close by. We had lunch on the water at Waters View Restaurant and a fabulous dinner at Blue Jay Bistro. If you are considering booking - do it! You will not regret it. We look forwarding to booking again.

My husband and I met in Atlanta; we lived there until his job relocated us to New England in 2009.
We have visited family at Lake Gaston for the last 15 years.
We love spending time with family at the lake, where boating, water sports, jet skiing, kayaking, and paddle boarding are the highlights.
Our goal is to have a place that guests want to keep coming back to, memories made at the lake are memories you will have forever. I was fortunate enough to grow up on a lake in NY, we lived close to a lake in Georgia and when my cousins bought lake houses on Lake Gaston, we were fortunate enough to spend a week every summer here.
My kids learned how to kneeboard, ski, wake surf and have gone for many tube rides. They have also learned how to kayak/ paddleboard. My husband has been known to grab a jet ski and disappear for hours at a time!
It is being with family/friends and spending time that is the most important.
Lake Gaston is the perfect location for my family in the south to meet up with those of us who now live up North,
