Our Cottage, located in a quiet neighborhood, is a short walk or bike ride from beach access and two miles from the heart of Caseville. Enjoy your day at the beach and evenings around the bonfire in our spacious yard shaded by giant Oak and Maple trees. Our additional outdoor amenities include a large picnic table, patio chairs, and even a sandbox for young children to enjoy. Inside, you will find our fully furnished cottage provides a welcoming space for a relaxing family getaway.

Perfect amount of space for our family weekend. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the fire pit.

Overall it was a nice place - but there is definitely not enough room to sleep eight people. The pull out sofa in the pictures does not match the actual sofa - which is more like a child's day bed. We managed but it was not what we expected.The place is nicely done - plumbing, AC, washer/dryer, dishwasher all worked well.

Enjoyed our stay! Check-in was easy, and there were plenty of towels, supplies in kitchen, and space for my family and in-laws. We liked the peaceful, woodsy location and the natural light from the skylight windows upstairs.

Property was as described. Inside was clean. Check in was easy and cabin was well-appointed with supplies. Just wish the outdoor seating areas had been a bit cleaner. We had to use a broom to get off cobwebs, leaves, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

(Thumb vacation

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean and the bedrooms were all large. The recliners in the living room were nice. We weren’t a big fan of the loveseat sleeper for sitting as there were 4 adults and it’s very firm. Plenty of room for kids to run around outside. It is a bit of a walk to the beach area and down a slope. Due to an elderly person we had with us, we opted to use the county park beach which is large and only a mile or so away.Overall it was a nice stay.Btw- not sure why but there was no hot water in the main bathroom sink. Wasn’t a huge deal for us, but in case someone wants to check out why.

This cottage is cozy. With 3 bdrms and 2 bathrooms there is plenty of room for a family or 3 couples. The location was convenient to town and beaches.

Great place to stay

My sisters and I rented whispering oaks cottage for a weekend. The cottage is spotless and has everything you need. All of the rooms and bathrooms were large especially the master bedroom. The host was extremely helpful and friendly and accommodated everything we asked for. We will definitely rent this cottage again

Great Place, Great Host!

This is my second time staying here. My son and I had a great time exploring Caseville and Port Austin. This a great place with plenty for kids and grownups to do. I’m sure it’s great in the summer but it’s also great in the winter. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Hello and welcome to our cottage! My wife and I have two daughters that are full of lots of joy and energy. We love to go for walks as a family and travel around the world. We are Michigan natives so we love to enjoy all that our beautiful area has to offer. It is our hope that your time at our cottage will be enjoyable and a peaceful place to stay.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love our cottage for it's quaint setting, surrounded by beautiful, tall oak and maple trees. We also love the location as we are just minutes from downtown Caseville and a short walk to our 'sugar sand' beach. The skylights upstairs provide natural lighting into the home and a beautiful view of the stars above at night. The wood stove in the dining room (although unusable) creates a warm and cozy ambiance as well as the handcrafted wooden beams in the living room.
