Escape Reality Docked on Sand Point

Bring your boat and stay docked at this unique 4 bedroom 3 full bath canal front home. The house is laid out to entertain, handicap accessible, and sleep up to 12 guests comfortably. Enjoy summer nights on the spacious deck over the gas fire pit or cuddle up inside next to the fireplace on those chilly days. The property offers 3 docks, plenty of room to dock up to 5 midsize boats. Weather you're a family looking for a vacation or a avid fisherman/duck hunter this house will satisfy the needs.

The space
The main floor consists of master bedroom with king bed and full. 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed with 2 twins. Washer, dryer, 2nd full bath, fully furnished kitchen, and living room are on the main floor. The 3rd bedroom upstairs has a king bed with baby crib. The 4th bedroom has a full and queen bed. Also there is a full bath on this floor as well. The basement is finished with a bar, office area, and futon. The basement walks out into the garage/game room which is insulated and heated. Garage has a built in handicap ramp that leads to main level. The house sits on 300ft of canal frontage and has 3 docks to park boats. Full fish cleaning station, massive deck with natural gas fire pit, wood burning pit and sand area, screened in porch with propane grill. 18kw back up generator so your vacation doesn't get ruined by a storm. The house is perfect for boaters, fisherman, and duck hunters. Within minutes you can be on Wildfowl Bay.

Great place! Super clean and very comfortable for our group. Big thanks for helping make this trip happen after we had to cancel last year due to a medical issue — really appreciated that. Hopefully we’ll be back!Just a quick note for future guests: water levels in the canal can run low, so the dock might not always be usable for a boat. We didn’t end up using it because of the temps and wind, but even if we had, it probably wouldn’t have worked this time of year.

The property was very nice. Our elderly Aunt was able to negotiate getting in and out of the house well. Very nice outdoor space for enjoying the nice cooler weather in the evenings

We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. The neighborhood was quiet and the corner lot location was wonderful. The house was updated and clean with lots of outdoor and indoor space for people to relax. Five separate sleeping locations. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Overall, a great place to stay!

Our family stay

Our family of 9 that consisted of our brothers, sisters and their wives and husbands. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will discuss coming back next year. It had everything you needed and enjoyed the town . The restaurants are great. We would recommend this to everyone.

Girls get away

Such a beautiful and cozy home! There were 7 of us (sorority sisters from college). We had such a wonderful time. We had one day of rainy weather, so the game room was perfect. This is our 3rd Vrbo that we have stayed at, as a group, and we decided that this one was by far our very favorite. Kuddos to the owners on making this home so comfy and inviting.

This house is amazing! Will definitely stay here again. It is lovely! Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed. The restaurants nearby were great also.

Exceptional home away from home

The location is perfect in a peaceful neighborhood. You immediately know that this house is someone's home because of each meticulous, loving detail. Communication with Kyle was immediate and accommodating. Spending the day outside on the deck is like a vacation itself. When we come back to Michigan, we will absolutely be returning to the Donath home. Thank you!

The property was well maintained with plenty of space for all of us. The kids had activities and the adults enjoyed the expansive deck options for chatting. This property is a great place for family to gather and even better if you have your own boat!

Beautiful home and area!

So many great things about this home! The size of it fit all of us, the outdoor area, patio, yard, fish cleaning station a plus! We saw so much wildlife, deer everywhere! Kyle was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Easy access to Lake Huron through the canal. My husband and son caught several walleye and other fish. We really enjoyed our stay!

Michigan is truly an excellent state. To be able to experience each season, the beauty it has to offer, and the endless passions you can find in each of these seasons is our favorite part. With each season our home, and this area has something to offer to feed your interests. We have endless water sport opportunities, nearby hiking trails, kid-friendly activities, unique restaurants and beautiful scenery with each season.

After making the decision to move closer to family, we just could not bring ourselves to sell our home here in Caseville. We decided to list our house as a vacation rental to give others the opportunity to enjoy this home as much as we have over the years.

While we may not be just around the corner, we are just an hour away. We are extremely hands-on and ALWAYS available. We have put our heart and soul into this home, and could not imagine a better way to share the joy and memories that it has given to us.

Again, our goal is simple; to help you and your loved ones create memories that you will never forget.
