Absolutely loved watching the whales from the lanai! Definitely rent the binoculars from the onsite snorkel shop! The bed was comfortable. Never needed the AC. Listening to the waves crash against the rocky shore was so needed! And having the amazing tidepools in the morning and the sandy beach nearby in the evening was exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely search this place out again for our next trip to Hawaii!

Breathtaking views and everything you need

This was such an enjoyable stay. The property had everything we needed and more and was so clean. Our days started with the beautiful sunrise and ended with the beautiful sunset across a picturesque view. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Place to Stay

We truly loved staying at Napili Shores through ITrip. The room was fantastic in every way. The room faced the ocean and couldn’t have been better. The Gazebo restaurant was a delight, especially the macadamia nut banana pancakes. And Kitchen 5315 was great for dinner and their Mai Tais were awesome. Thanks and we look forward to staying there again.

Lovely location, dated condo

We have stayed at this condo complex many times, it is a lovely condo complex, great location, easy walk to the beach, well maintained, two nice swimming pools, grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately this unit did not meet the complex standards. It is quite dated and in desperate need of basic maintenance. Several spots with large chips in wall paint, hole in area rug, two of the four light bulbs burned out in bathroom, stove light burned out. The kitchenware is minimal and low quality, we had 4 mismatched dinner plates, three spoons, one small saute pan, etc, etc. Though not a maintenance issue, a small dining table would have been nice, there is no surface to eat on in the unit, other than the balcony. The ocean front view from the balcony is gorgeous, this unit could easily be upgraded to justify the price. Future renters should be aware that this unit is not managed by the condo complex. If you have any issues, the front desk cannot assist. The property manager was responsive, but it still involves phone calls, leaving messages, waiting for a call back.

It doesn’t get any better (or more oceanfront) than this! Great unit in the best building (I building) at a lovely resort - Napili Shores. We’ve been coming to Napili Shores for 17 years. This is probably the best unit we’ve stayed in, and we really appreciate the comfy king size bed. We hope to return for another 17+ years!

Perfectly low key

We loved staying at the property while on West Maui! The view and the sound of the ocean is amazing from this condo. The property has great pools to lounge next to, and its a short walk to the beach. I love staying in the Napili area because you have everything you need but not all the crowds. I cant wait to stay here again!

Great Location, Napili Shores Is Awesome

Napili Shores as a destination is GREAT! The ocean front location and beach is unbeatable. The grounds are well maintained. I-273 is special in that it’s ocean view is FANTASTIC. However, the condo does need both updating and maintenance. That said, we would recommend and also return.

Great Condo and Location, Location, Location !

The condo was great - the view spectacular! Definitely would rent this unit again. Just a few hiccups along the way - deactivated room keys a couple of days in a row and water was turned off last night of our stay for repair work and was delayed in being restored into the next morning. Beach chairs for guest use would be a great addition to the unit. Beautiful property and unit!

Perfect ocean front property

Exactly as advertised, the location is absolutely perfect for a ocean front property. I couldn't get over how I could watch the ocean and waves from bed. The condo was clean and updated and everyone on property extremely friendly. Highly recommend!

Paradise at Napili Shores

Unit I 273 is probably one of the true "oceanfront" units on Maui, nothing between you and the ocean except a narrow strip of grass and some palm trees. Great lanai for breakfast and watching the sunsets. Nice clean updated unit with A/C and good water pressure in the shower. Loved it.

Napili Shores Condos

We loved our studio. Nicely designed and had almost everything we needed (no safe). The view was stunning and every night we fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean waves. The bathroom lighting had a burned out bulb which made it a bit dim, but still workable. Overall, a lovely unit with a comfortable bed and updated kitchen.

Perfect home away from home!

My husband and I spent 8 nights here for our 10 year anniversary just last week (8/4-8/12). It was perfect! Location is in a quiet but not boring area of North West Maui and within quick driving of anything we could need. Beach was wonderful and a short walk from the pool. Pools were nice and never crowded. Everyone was extremely nice and respectful. Sunsets from your private ocean front lanai in I-273 are magical. The condo has everything you could need for your stay and we cooked a couple times in it! Bed is very comfortable, lots of storage for all your things, PLENTY of towels (seriously, we had so many we didnt use). We started to say "Lets go home" when we were out sight-seeing and laughing because it did start to feel like home. The free tickets through Xplorie! were awesome! We had a snorkeling trip and a sunset dinner sail. The sunset dinner sail was great and a perfect way to spend our anniversary. The snorkeling unfortunately was cancelled due to a mechanical issue with the sailing company. This wasnt Xplorie!'s fault and they refunded us no problem. Overall, everything was just perfect and we would definitely consider I-273 at Napili Shores next time we go to Maui!

We stayed in this unit for the second time and will gladly do so again in the future. Great view of the ocean and sunsets from the room and balcony and everything was in working order. Also appreciated the boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella. We had noted a couple minor issues during our last visit and they were both repaired! Can’t go wrong with this unit.

We had a truly fabulous time here. My only complaint is that for as long a stay as ours (1 week) it would be great to get fresh towels (particularly beach towels!) at some point in the stay. Other than that, 10/10!

Review

The room was very nice. Had some trouble with cable service going out twice but was fixed by staff at condo. TV works but has seen better days screen a little milky and frame cracked. Had some ants but found some bug spray under the sink that took care of problem. The toilet was very hard to flush. Despite all things stated above, this gets a 5 star review!

A Little Bit of Heaven on Maui

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is a fantastic location to enjoy the amenities of this ocean community. Napili Shores offers a beautiful view of the ocean and their pools are beautifully maintained. The restaurant on property offered a delicious and filling meal compared to other restaurants we visited on the island. Definitely a great value for your money.

This place was beautiful and very close to the bay so you could walk to it. Though for older folks it felt a little dangerous to get down to it. I believe they said that entry was temporary so check with them. I'm not sure if a service is available to reserve a spot to have an outdoor dinner together if you have a large group of 7 so I scrambled to try to get enough chairs etc. to figure out at least one meal a day outside. They have 2 restaurants which was great to eat in or takeout order but the morning to lunch one always had a huge line of 45 mins to wait. My condo was beautiful with an amazing ocean view.

Excellent communication

Very nice property but we already knew it well. The Itrip support people were excellent. We had trouble with Wifi and also tv and they were easy to get in touch with and helped us fix both. Very kind and polite and friendly - not like normal customer service, as they actually have stellar skills at being nice. If you read the property is "dated" that is because it is an older property, but know that is a very nice condo.

Simply Beautiful!

If what you seek are upstairs accommodations right on the Maui oceanfront, look no further. The deep turquoise waves are so loud breaking on the rocky shore they might keep you awake! If so, make sure to go out on the lanai and watch the moon reflected in the shimmering sea. During the day, watch whales spouting and playing offshore. Simply beautiful! If you’re more interested in luxury surroundings and hi-end modern appliances, this lovely condo and the 6 acres of beautiful grounds may not be your first choice, although everything worked fine and “I” building is without a doubt the best building at Napili Shores Resort. This is a very family friendly resort and the majority of guests observed quiet time and were pleasant. Napili Bay (a very short walk from the unit) has lovely turquoise waters but is very crowded and has a steep drop off that makes getting into the waves a little precarious. The lines for the oceanfront Gazebo restaurant were always a block long but because you have such a terrific view you can order takeout and eat it on the lanai.
