Looking to get away and relax in the remote 4x4 area of Carova, then “COROLLA IS CALLING” your name. Spend time away in this cozy “home away from home” while enjoying all the things an OBX vacation offers.


Located just a short walk to the beach, enjoy your day having fun in the sun and sand to come home and start your relaxing evening. Enjoy the ocean views while you rest on one of the two large balconies. Choose to spend some family time soaking up the sun by the private pool. End your day having a grilled dinner in the covered picnic area or even competing in a family game of volleyball. Get a good night's rest so you can start it all over and don’t be surprised if the horses come to say hello.


This home offers five bedrooms (two master bedrooms) and three and a half bathrooms so there is plenty of room for everyone! Each bedroom has its own television. The living room area has plenty of seating to relax with a large flat screen TV for your entertainment. Have an indoor fun night by playing a game with your family/friends or entertain the kids with the many games, puzzles, movies, books, and coloring books provided in the bunk room.The dining area offers seating for 10 people, with extra space located on the kitchen island. New kitchen appliances were recently installed. The house is stocked with plenty of cookware and serving ware to make your meals during your stay. Make use of the outdoor area with available toys and games for both children and adults such as: Spikeball, Wiffle Ball, Cornhole, Volleyball, Football, Tiki toss, Sand toys.


Please note that this home has video surveillance on the mid-level facing the driveway.

Hot tub is only available May-October.


**This home is only accessible with a 4-wheel drive vehicle. You will have to drive on the sandy beach to access the home.

A beautiful home with all the amenities you need. The location is a perfect mix of privacy and the close proximity to the ocean makes it easy to get into the waves with an easy walk. The extra games, puzzles, and movies gave us something to do during a rainy afternoon. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. This home exceeded our expectations.

We had a fantastic time at Corolla is Calling! The property had everything our big family (plus our fur babe) needed. The horses made several visits during our stay. The property is located in convenient and quiet location of the beach. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub during the cloudy and cool days/evenings and made good use of the big charcoal grill. The highlight of our trip was getting to see a turtle nest hatch! Jennifer and Gary answered any questions quickly throughout the booking process and during our stay. Overall, 10 out of 10 experience!!

Lovely Week at Corolla is Calling!

We were really impressed with the ease of communication with the owners during our stay. They gave us all the information we needed ahead of our trip - super helpful! At one point during the week we texted to ask a question and they responded immediately. So helpful!The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were a really nice size! There were so many extra kitchen amenities (ice machine, air fryer, beverage fridge, etc.) The owners add so many extra little touches, you can tell they care about their renters! There was even a little gift bag with a thank you card! Really sweet. We had several horses in the backyard on a couple different occasions, grazing on the grass and in no hurry to leave. Really cool!The pool was refreshing and there were lots of inflatables and games we could play. We lacked nothing and were pleasantly surprised at the care put into our stay! Thank you for a wonderful week!

The house was great for our needs. There were 3 couples and 4 little boys. Plenty of bathrooms. The pool was very nice! The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls , etc. The beach was very close. The only con would be the top bedroom got warm, but I think if the ceiling fan was tightened it would be ok. Overall the house was great. The hosts were very kind and always got back to me quickly if I had any questions. The last 2 days were especially nice since the wild horses came to visit us. I would recommend Corolla is Calling to anyone wanting to go to the Outer Banks.

Getaway with friends

The amenities were amazing. Everything we needed was there. The pool was great. Would have enjoyed the hot tub too but during a heat wave it was missed. But we were vacationing with family friends so having 2 master bedrooms made it easy for us. The host were terrific communicating. I cant wait to go back!

Great Vacation

We had a great time at Corolla is Calling! Space was perfect for multi family vacation. We got numerous visits from the wild horses right under the house, including a baby! The pool was a great place to cool down after the beach. The house had everything we needed plus more!

Corolla is Calling was a great space perfect for our family of 7. Loved hearing nature all day! Very clean upon arrival. Was a little too rainy and chilly to use the pool but we used the hot tub. Was great that it was under a covered area so it was able to be used even in the rain. The horses visited the back yard. Loved that spices and those little things you are bound to forget were provided. Great supply of board games! Thank you Gary & Jen for hosting us!

We just adore the Carova 4x4 area. The beach, the wildlife (horses), the sunsets, and the feeling of being away from it all make it such a special place.

This home is cozy and very "home" like, yet big enough to share with another family. Very close to the water and walking distance, but a road back for privacy. The horses love to visit this property which adds a special touch!
