Owned by a local interior designer, this five-bedroom property offers stunning lake views, sandy waters, and a beachfront ideal for guests of all ages. The spacious interior and outdoor living areas provide ample space to relax, dine, and enjoy all-day sunshine and breathtaking sunsets. Take advantage of the available kayak, pedal boat & SUPs to explore the calm waters, or unwind on the patio overlooking the lake. In the winter, head out snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding on our hill or skating at nearby Arrowhead Provincial Park. The Fairy Lake Beach House promises an unforgettable getaway in one of Huntsville’s most beautiful destinations. Plus with a beautiful hot tub for up to 5 people, you can't go wrong with this relaxing getaway.

NOTE: We want to let you know that this property is in an extremely quiet neighbourhood, and any noise after 10:30 pm (music, loud conversations, or gatherings outside) is strictly prohibited. Our neighbours are very close by and highly sensitive to sound, so it’s important to respect quiet hours.

Because this is a registered rental, repeated noise complaints can lead to our licence being revoked. If you are looking for a place to enjoy late nights outside past 11 pm, this may not be the right property for you.

Accommodation:

Master Bedroom: A serene retreat with a luxurious king-sized bed, offering stunning views of the water with a wardrobe.

Second Bedroom: A versatile space with a double-bunk twin bed, perfect for children or friends.

Third Bedroom: A cozy room with two twin beds, ideal for guests seeking comfort and relaxation. Twin beds can be put together if desired. We need to know in advance to do this for you. Our pack and play is in this room.

Fourth Bedroom: A stylish bedroom featuring a double bed, blending comfort and elegance.

Fifth Bedroom: A bright and welcoming space with a double bed, perfect for a restful night’s sleep located in the basement level.

Bathrooms:

Bathroom 1: A full bathroom with a shower, located in the laundry room for guest convenience is located in the Main level.

Bathroom 2: A spacious bathroom featuring a bath/shower combination, offering the best of both options for guests located on the second floor.

We include all linens, including bedding & towels (1 per person), and a kitchen perfect for cooking large family meals!

Please note: The fireplace in our property is not functional.

We include starter amounts of toilet paper, paper towels, and certain items for the property for our guests (ask if you want exact amounts). Please note that most reservations it will be enough, but longer than 3 or 4 nights, bigger groups might need to buy extras!

Huntsville Transit operates a bus service with three routes covering key areas in town, including the downtown core, healthcare facilities, shopping centers, and some residential neighborhoods.

However, if guests plan to explore areas like Fairy Lake or attractions outside the downtown, having a car is highly recommended. Public transit in Huntsville is primarily geared towards essential travel within town rather than reaching more remote areas or major attractions like Algonquin Park. Taxis and ride-share services like Uber may also be available, but availability could be limited.

We do want to let you know that we are located in an extremely quiet neighbourhood, so any noise after 10:30 pm (music, loud talking, etc, especially outside) is prohibited. We have neighbours who live really close and are all very sensitive to sound, and we want to respect quiet hours. Since we are registered rental, if we get three strikes (ie. if anyone calls to complain to our bylaw) we can get our licence revoked. If you love to be outside after 11pm, enjoy late nights this is not the right property for you.

Our space is located in the woods and we do treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of being surrounded by beautiful mother nature. Should this be of concern to you our space may not be the best fit.

Animals you may see during your stay include deer, black bears, groundhogs, mice, insects.

Please note that this is an older cottage that has been partially renovated and improved upon. The cottage has some older furniture, items and windows. There is no generator for this cottage in the winter. We also include shovels and salt for winter. We are also located in cottage country, which can sometimes means we have unexpected power outages, that can last 20 minutes to 4h + depending on the issue. Please wait it out, and enjoy the property until it is resolved!

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.

Please note: (Not Applicable to AirBnB Guests) Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification.

(Not Applicable to AirBnB Guests) You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Please note: In Winter months, we do get quite a bit of snow. We have shovels and salt available for your use. We do not do any refunds should you not be able to make it to the property in your vehicle due to regular snow that happens in the area. Please come prepared. The road gets plowed by the city and our driveway by an independent contractor, and they come on an as-need basis with a 3 inch snow minimum. Our road is just off the main HWY 60, and fairly flat.
