Girls Trip

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of this unit. The floors were extremely dirty. Left over remnants from previous guest were found underneath the couches. The glass tables were dusty. The counters, chairs and sink was dirty upon our arrival. We utilized 7 bedrooms each room had TVs only 2 rooms had operating TVs. The carpets in the bedrooms were not vacuumed and underneath the beds were filthy. Before we could put anything on the counters we had to clean areas that should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. The property manager provided a re-clean on day 2 which consisted of two individuals spraying a swifter without sweeping to clean the floors, no dusting and they did not vacuum the carpet in the bedrooms. However each time this unit is rented a cleaning free is added to the cost for a service that is not provided. The cleaning cost should be refunded to the renter when service is not provided. The property owner need to do an assessment of their cleaning service to ensure the property is ready for their guest.

House was dirty

The house had a horrible smell and was not cleaned at all before we arrived. Showers and bathrooms were gross and there were broken tiles and the walls had handprints all over them from never be in cleaned

Very spacious property with plenty of room for our family of 16. Very comfortable and only 50 ft to the beach. Will stay here again.

I am so disappointed.

My family and I have been renting a property at Ambassador Villas for a week during the summer for 8 years. We've always had a great experience. However, this time, we would have been better off checking into a Motel 6 with a kitchenette. Upon arrival we were told we would receive a text letting us know when the property was "safe" to enter. We waited an hour and a half for that text, so expected to enter to a clean home. We were hesitant to even take our yearly trip in the middle of a pandemic, but trusted that our safety and wellness would be of the utmost importance. We were greeted by a filthy kitchen. None of the appliances had been cleaned, the surfaces were disgusting and walking barefoot was out of the question. We were unable to store cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink because there's standing water. One of refrigerators leaked water as well, and there were random cereal boxes and drink cans hiding everywhere. The first floor bathroom has black mold. Yes, black mold. We contacted management on Monday to let them know a television was missing from the first floor, and no one sent a television. In every bedroom, there was random junk crammed under the beds, and the dust is so thick above the valances and on the walls, you need a shop vac to remove it. There was a strip over the toilets letting us know they had been, "cleaned" so it's not as if they just mistakenly forgot our unit. I've felt safer about the cleanliness of the bathroom during hour three of a Metallica concert. The washing machine was gunked with fabric softener, and the dryer vent was clogged. A few of the sinks just growl when you turn them on. Even under normal circumstances all of these things are unacceptable. In the middle of a health crisis, it's irresponsible at best. We should not have had to spend our first day cleaning A LUXURY UNIT. As a family choosing to social distance with only short trips to the grocery store, and visits to the water during non peak times, I am so disappointed!

Multiple Minimal Issues Never Resolved

The accommodations as a whole were “ok” for all of our guest. However, upon arrival we weren’t able to get into the property until after 5:30pm due to cleaners still being there. Once we came in detailed cleaning hadn’t taken place because the carpets were dirty and 2 dead water bugs were in plain sight. The fooseball Table was broken. Tiles were cracked on the 2nd floor. One bedroom had a nail coming out of the floor. The accordion doors in the living room were broken. 2 bedrooms didn’t have cable boxes which meant that for our entire stay those guest couldn’t watch tv. These were relatively small nuances, but also ones that weren’t rectified despite our complaints early our 1st morning. Limited parking is another major issue... We didn’t allow any of these things to ruine our stay, but our group MOST DEFINITELY will not rent this property again.
