We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and cozy. We loved enjoying our coffee down by the dock in the morning.The rental company was great - very attentive and accommodating. We had a question about the hot tub and they were at the property within the hour. Only downside, which had nothing to do with the home or property management, there are a few new builds directly next door. The noise from the construction made it difficult to enjoy time outdoors during the day. We realize that this is a temporary inconvenience - it was just a bit of a bummer as we traveled down to the Carolina’s from up north to enjoy some time outdoors. I am quite certain the noise will come to an end in a matter of weeks.

Family Time

This place was sooo spacious for a family of 8 and a baby of 10 months. We loved this place and definitely recommend staying even with babies! The game area in the garage was soo fun as well we had a great time. And Trey was so much help and would reply fast as well!

Summer Family Christmas Vacation in July

fit our needs of a lake house for having fun in the water and on the boat. Lots to do and the properly worked for our family of 13, stores and restaurants were near us, very quiet neighborhood very nice

Family time on the Lake

Was a great experience and location. The property manager was in communication on all things and very accommodating. House had many things to keep us all busy and entertained. Would definitely rent again!

Impressive

This “cabin” was the best maintained and provisioned rental we have ever stayed at. As can be seen on VRBO, it’s at a great location on North Carolina’s Lake Norman. It beautifully accommodated our party and, using the shelter-like facility on the dock, a get together with our extended family from that area. The kids and our party really loved the place.

A Very Special Family Gathering Spot!

Our family (3 generations) has grown most fond of this special spot. The location, dock, water, view, wading area, yard, home has given us countless memories. Thank you Frank for the care you give to the property and your guests. Everything you’ll need is within an easy drive, but don’t venture out for too long, enjoy the place, it’s special!

Nice lakeside cabin

Just as expected. Charming cabin with nice views of the lake, comfortable beds, lots of pillows & cozy blankets, plenty of towels, fun fire pit for s'mores, grill worked well, nice covered dock area with chairs and tables. Neighborhood was quiet, close to Publix, casual restaurants, and Mountain Creek park.

Fabulous location on Lake Norman .. plenty of room for our 7 person family! Has all the amenities and then some! Especially loved the covered dock on the water! Very well stocked home! EXCELLENT response from the host to our questions! Loved it! Would definitely rent again!

Even Better Than The Pictures

As a maid of honor, I had the task of finding a large enough house for 14 women. We came across this cabin/house and thought the images look good and booked it. Upon our stay, we had the easiest check-in process and walked in to see the space was even better than what we saw in the pictures. Everyone had a bed, we were comfortable and the lake was perfect. Such a great place to stay and would really love to come back!

Amazing Family Vacation!

Everything about the house was better than expected. We had 13 adults and 1 child in our group and the house never felt crowded. The house has everything you need for an amazing time from the game room to the very beautiful dock. Would definitely recommend this house. Frank was great to work with and his response time was very quick! And swimming off the dock was one of the best parts!!

Lake Norman -Gordon street log home

This property offers an amazing place for a large family or group of friends to get together and relax, the views are amazing, the dock is very large and a great place to gather, the bedrooms were very comfortable and everyone loved the matresses. Overall this property was an excellent choice and I believe anyone who stays here will love it.. If I had one suggestion, I would creat an area for the garbage and recycling away from the home/garage. Thank you, Neal Monqcelli

Great family spot

We had a wonderful stay. The lake accessibility was perfect for the kids to jump in anytime. There were plenty of floating tubes, so no need to bring any. The dock had tables for the grandparents to sit and enjoy. We used the kitchen heavily, and it had mostly all we needed. The rooms were clean and well prepared for our stay. The game room was great with plenty of ping pong balls, air hockey pucks and corn hole beanbags. The Wi-Fi was sufficient, the TV selection was good. The AC was excellent. For a large family gathering we highly recommend.

It was great!

We had a great time at this lake house located on Lake Norman. Kids had the best time jumping off the steps into the water. There was a perfect little sandy beach for them to play in by the steps. We brought our twin kayak so it was the perfect spot to catch the sunset. Our friends brought their paddle boards. Overall perfect for having 2 families that have kids under the age of 5. Thanks so much!

the prop was nice .smaller than it showed on line ..it hade all we needed except cable tv ,that was a bummer . it was surface clean , i had to clean, the tv screen , the grill ,it was not cleaned from the last rentals ,when ever that was ? it could use a deep cleaning , the windows were prob the worst sucks looking out a dirty window .The beds were clean & comfortable .The last thing was workers showed up to work out side wile we were still there , crazy .

Brian thanks for the feedback as it will help us provide the experience we strive to achieve. The workers showed up a day early as courtesy to get the new hot tub installed for you to enjoy…sorry that seems crazy. We left messages and text with no response about getting this done. Our apologies. You ask them to leave…no worries; we want our guest to enjoy a nice and relaxing experience while not being bothered. We had it installed when you left for the next guest to enjoy. Additionally, we had to pay deep cleaning from the “smell” left behind due to house rules not being followed.

Amazing home on Lake Norman!

Frank's home is amazing! We rented the home so that our extended family could attend our older daughters graduation from Davidson College. Frank was extremely gracious in letting us check in earlier since family members were traveling from different cities. The view from the back porch is amazing! The picnic tables and chairs at the waterfront was a surprise. We even caught fish. ALL the amenities that you could possibly think of was available and what wasn't, Publix and Harris Teeter were close by. The 5 bedroom, 3.5 baths accommodated everyone perfectly and the game room on the bottom level was well used along with the gas grill. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful lakefront home!

Rustic, family friendly, lake home.

Not the best place during the winter, lower level for youth activities is very cold. Lighting in the house needs updating. The house was infested with stink bugs lodged in lights in the upper bunk bedroom and kitchen, the oven was not clean, the pan at the bottom was burned and smelked when the oven was turned on, the cleaning crew did not address the stink bugs, nor the inch of dust on the ceiling fan in the family room, they remained until 4! There were No face cloths, only 1 bath towel per single bed, 2 for double bed, No extra linen. No notice that face cloths and extra linen would not be provided, doesn't work with children. We have stayed in a lake home in the winter before, had an excellent experience.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you had some issues. We wish you would have let us know during your stay and we could have tried to resolve them for you. To improve the comfort in the game room, we will install a new heater. We already have an electric fireplace in the lower bedroom. The face cloths were in the bathrooms. We could have given you more towels at anytime if you would have told us. We are always available for our guests. The bugs in the lights are no stink bugs but tiny flies that are attracted to lights when the windows are open. We will keep a closer watch on that and make sure that the lights are cleaned. We have a contract with a pest company and they come on a regular basis. We wish you the best on your next lake vacation.

Practically Paradise!

This house was everything we had hoped it would be... and more! Every other year, we do a big "family" trip that includes 6 adults and 4 kids. This house had more than enough room for all of us. The location itself couldn't have been more perfect.... conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants, but tucked far enough away in a quiet cove that we never even heard the neighbors. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen of any vacation house we've ever stayed in! We brought spices/seasonings, storage containers... and we didn't need any of them! The house also comes stocked with plenty of towels. The games in the garage kept the kids entertained during the rare downtime of not being in the lake. Now for the Lake/Dock review... This was the selling point for us when we were originally booking this trip. We wanted an area that all of us could hang out by the water, eat dinner, relax in the shade... all while not worrying too much about the kids. This covered dock with picnic tables was where we spent almost all of our time. The steps leading down to the "beach" made play time for the kids even better. The depth of the water around the dock was perfect for little ones. And there was more than enough room both of our boats, paddle boards and floating island. I could go on and on about this house... it was, without a doubt, our favorite vacation house ever!!! We can't wait to schedule our next trip!
